Cons: First of all, it was the scariest place ever. There was a giant room with one guy creepily sitting there waiting for people to come in. Second, my car wasn't ready...so they just gave me whatever was in the lot at the time. Which was NOT what I paid for.

Pros: Pick up was super fast. Car performed well.
Cons: Bugs were not cleaned off car well. There was some gum on the front passenger seat and inside door when I picked it up.

What do you mean no minivan!
Pros: Angela was great. She was patient and worked with me
Cons: I reserved a minivan. I had children with me on this trip. The mini van would have been ideal. I feel hertz did not have one available when I made the reservation, but went ahead and promised me one. It was disappointing.

Hertz - poor customer service

Cons: Hertz customer service agent at Buffalo airport was the worst i have ever encountered in 30+ years of renting cars

Cons: They didn't have a pickup at the airport, had to pay for a 5 min taxi ride across the st. The location was extremely dirty, stains everywhere! The manager was nice, helpful. Waited 20 mins to talk with someone when dropping off because they were on the phone, need more people. Over very disappointed with this company. I won't rent through hertz again or recommend to anyone.

Pros: Car was as expected
Waived Fee to return to the airport instead of their off site facility
Customer service was good
Cons: Was not informed of the following:
- the rental Company was not actually Hertz but some sort of subsidiary
- They took a $200 deposit at pick up
- Since the open at 9 am, could not return my car earlier even though my flight was earlier and charged a fee to return it to the airport
Turned out well, but it was the surprise factor that made this experience uncomfortable

Cons: Counter representative misrepresented how the prepaid fuel option worked by saying I would be charged $2.28 per gallon for the amount I used, not that I was paying for the whole tank regardless.
Cons: Tank was totally, completely empty when I received the car, seats were stained, and there was a dent in the side. When we returned the car, despite it being mid-day, there was no attendant in the garage, so we just had to go inside to drop the keys and go on faith that they'd remember all those problems and not charge us for them.

Pros: The workers were very friendly and helpful. We were able to upgrade with no problems. Car was clean and had no problems.
Cons: Location on google maps is incorrect for this location. It showed up as the the airport location. This should be addressed to alleviate confusion.

Paid more because only had Fiat available

Cons: When I picked up the car the only economy car that was available was a tiny Fiat that wouldn't even hold my luggage.
The only option that I was given was to upgrade to a chevy Cruze which was $25 more for 4 days.
My experience in the past w/ Emterprise is that they do ALL that they can to make the customer happy.
I wasn't happy w/this situation and I told them that I wasn't!
Also on my emailed receipt it said that I'd paid for an an economy car when I actually paid for an upgrade.

Pros: The Customer Service provided by this location was great from beginning to end! We noticed a tire not holding pressure halfway through our trip, and they switched the car for us within an hour! I'll rent from this location again in the future. Price was great as well.
Cons: When we got to the airport around 8p we tried to call the company and got a guy's outgoing cell phone voicemail with the name of a different company that had something to do with car renting. They had no shuttles and no one at the airport had heard of the company. We ended up just renting from another company because their Yelp! page said they were closed. Doesn't seem like a full service operation or a viable option for car rental in Buffalo.

Pros: Wound up with a Chrysler 200, which was a little nicer than expected.
Cons: No satellite radio, which I thought was standard in rentals. Also, I foolishly opted for the insurance online. They wound up charging me for 5 days insurance on a 4 day rental. Lastly There is no sign for Ace rental on the hotel where I picked up the car, it was actually Corporate Rental.

Pros: The price was right for an economy Mazda. We did get a ride to the airport when we dropped the car off. Drop off was at night, so the keys were put in a drop box, very easy.
Cons: Ace is not in the airport, they are located in a hotel lobby across the highway from the airport. When we landed, no one was at the desk to pick us up to get the car. We had to walk to the hotel and had to wait for the rep to show up.
