Cons: Reserved my car online, then received a phone call an hour before I was due to pick up my car saying that they didn't have a car for me. Unfortunately, I was already on a flight and didn't get the message until I landed. Their counter agent was unfriendly and wasn't willing to try to help find a solution. I called anther location and they couldn't transfer my reservation because apparently airport and non-airport are separate contract systems and can't be moved. Then I called their central reservations group only to be told that they would need to create an updated reservation for me and it would be TWICE the price I had originally reserved at. I went elsewhere and actually got a car at a better price immediately. I won't be renting from Hertz again if I can avoid it.

Convenient location - friendly staff
Pros: The staff was friendly and they helped me get my luggage in the car.
This was a short notice rental that I made online the night before - so I was thankful for a location in Nashville away from the Airport, as the Nashville Airport rates for all rental cars are some of the highest I've seen. The location was convenient.
Cons: The wait was a bit longer than I had hoped it would be, but only about 20 minutes.

Cons: They were overwhelmed by the 4 customers they had & didn't have cars ready despite reservations. I accepted a dirty car rather than wait even longer for it to be cleaned. Not a big deal, but not what you expect from what is supposedly a premium brand.

Pros: I have had several good rentals with Hertz in the past, but this time was not that way...
Cons: We verified the reservation the morning of the rental, showed up to the airport Hertz terminal upon arrival, and we were told that our car was actually at another location 10 miles away. A $35 cab fare later, the location we were sent to told us that they had no cars available at all at that location and we were told that we would have to go back to the airport location as it is the only location around with any cars to rent.
We took another $35 cab fare back to the airport while on the phone with Hertz customer service who had to cancel our existing reservation and remake it due to system problems, and then was unable to match the existing rate and couldnt restore the deleted reservation. So after being out $70 for cab fares, we were being told we would have to pay $40 more on our rental due to additional fees charged at the airport.
My reservation was only for $80 total, I am bad at math but they really screwed me this time... Back to Enterprise I guess, lesser of the two evils.

Cons: Reservations were made 2 weeks in advance, when we arrived to pick up the rental, we had to wait 2 hours because hertz was "out of cars"

If i could give a negative star rating i would
Pros: The only thing that I found helpful was a lady named Carrie at the call center. And even tho I still have not received my money back yet(because of another employee negligence to do their job properly) she was very helpful.
Cons: Everything! When we got there, we had to wait almost r0 minutes for a car because they didn't have 1. Then because I used my card and paid online(fuel account) but the reservation was in my fiancé's name they were not going to rent to us any way. They tried to run my credit and were going to charge an additional $200. Then I had several more problems when I called the 800 number to get my money released. Just horrible and I will never use them again!
