It's impossible to understand how much they are going to charge. They tried to increase the price of the car of a lot of money. Thankfully I had the email showing the price I had reserved it for. They overcharge for deposits through a 3rd party company and they are not sure when the deposit will be returned, if it will be returned, as several people had issues with it. The deposit is $1000. There was a nice lady working there. 2 men standing next to her didn't want to help us out, one asked the other to help and he said no! When returned the car and asked for a receipt with charges they tried to tell us they would have emailed us. Not very professional!

Handing over the car key and ask you to pick the car is not good. I was told that I have 10 mins to get the car out of the parking and forcing me not to check the car properly. Sent a mail asking for details and no response even after 3 days.

There were several issues. The check in counter was not in terminal 2 as advertised in the app. We paid for a cab to go to Terminal 1 counter because there’s no shuttle. There was no one at the counter in the terminal. Had to go to the parking area to get the car. The counter experience is bad. They demand you buy their insurance for $400 or the put a $2300 hold on your car for 2 months. The car you’re promised you will not get. They are slow and ask too many documents…I was asked for Passport, KSA Residency ID& Drivers License, and my US drivers License. They tried to sell me a toll tag that was overpriced. When I returned the car nobody came to check but I received an email the following day saying I scratched the car. They sent a pic of a scratch that was already there(had pics and video) of previous damage trying to blame me. I asked for them to prove it wasn’t there knowing I was right. Never had a response. The Google reviews with 1 star are very accurate based on my experience with this branch.

Waited at the counter upon return to "inquire" about tax benefits (in Dubai) and a copy of the final receipt - to include "any possible tickets/fines and amount of tolls (if any)" - waited at the counter for 45 minutes - in order for them just to say that they could not provide ANY of this information - simply due to the fact that I reserved and paid for the car online via Kayak - which is ridiculous. In addition - it people who were picking up cars, appeared to have priority over people who were returning cars - as they already have your money.

Never received a receipt after drop off. I was told I would receive one within 48 hours and never did. This “franchise” is an Enterprise franchise in name only. It’s operated by Sanan Rent A Car, but does not honor Enterprise membership status, upgrades, etc. The entire experience was a disaster. The only thing going for it was the cheap price, which makes sense considering the service and responsiveness was non existent.

STAY AWAY FROM GREEN MOTION if you can. Swindlers ! Location away from the airport, there is sometimes no response from the number on file. Plan 1.5 to 2hrs from landing to getting your rental. They leave hidden minor scratches off the rental agreement at pickup. And at return they claim you caused those and try to charge you 500 AED for them.

They were not in the airport for pickup. I called the nember in the email but there was no reply. I had to go to their branch and paid 54 AED for an airport taxi to go and pickup the car. Furthermore, they didn't want to compensate me for any inconveniences due to the extremely poor pickup experience. They were claiming that the car was in the airport waiting for my pickup and I should've picked it up from the airport. However, there was answer on the phone when I called them and they didn't reach out to me either.

Very bad experience the car came with a technical issue wasted my time and i had to reschedule my flight at the end budget charged me for the extra day that resulted from their replacement process

The experience of Budget in Dubai was catastrophic. First of all, there is no counter in terminal 3, so we have to take a train with all our family and all the luggages to terminal 1 to pick up the car. Secondly, the return was at terminal 1 and our departure in terminal 3 but since our flight was at 6 am, there was no train to go to terminal 3 so we have to walk with all the luggages for 25 minutes. Lastly, and something I do not accept, is that they charged us 1150 USD (4200 AED) for two small scratches on the hood of the car, which I did not see at pick-up. The only way to get scratches on the hood is by hitting a ceiling when opening it, which I did not do. The total rent for 4 days was 200 USD, so I am convinced that they exploit customers by charging them unacceptable amounts to make money, especially because we give a credit card as security.

Intermediate SUV

The receptionist took very long time to handover the car, and even longer time to receive the car without any respect to my time ( almost 40 min) I almost missed my flight! Also they have only one office in terminal 1, so if you have flights departing from terminal 2 or 3 you need to count for time and expenses!

Pros:

Extra charges on pick-up for airport taxes when other companies do not charge. Car had with an odor of cigarettes. Returned the car 10 h earlier. Rates not really good.

Compact SUV

Was not professional. Very fishy the way they took us to the pickup location. And wanted to take a deposit plus 3 day rent for damages. And the car we ordered wasnt available, instead they gave us a smaller one.

The company misrepresented the information on their website and on the reservation. They claim they had no original car and wanted to charge me x4 difference to provide a different vehicle. Also, to my request to refund the funds they played games and straight lied to avoid refunding money. I spent almost 30% of the reservation charges on my phone roaming charges to get the money back for service they haven’t rendered.
