Pros: The overall location has a surprisingly upbeat vibe. The Enterprise team works together to provide over the top customer service, and the employees positive attitudes more than makeup up for a smaller location. If you value old fashioned customer service, check them out.

Pros: Barrington Johnson was very helpful. My circumstances changed a few times and he was very accommodating and professional.
Cons: No receipt emailed. Receipt hard to process online. Charged me $20 to fill a 7/8 tank when they had agreed they gave it to me at 7/8.

Pros: The clerk at the rental office accommodated my needs by allowing me to return the car at the airport rather than the Hartford office. The airport location was more convenient to me because my own car was parked nearby the airport. He was very friendly and helpful. The staff at the airport rental office were also helpful and accommodating and even informed me that I could ask for a shuttle pickup to return to my own car. The Hartford offices were cleaner than the one in Queens.

No credit no car
Pros: Agent at the desk told me which car rental places took debit cards
Cons: So getting a deal is one thing. Getting to the rental car place at 11:45 and being told no credit card = no car sucked. At least the woman told me Alamo and national rent with debit cards. Something needs to be said before a reservation is made that a cc is needed
Pros: The price/value was excellent. The vehicle and economy were a joy.
Cons: Needed windshield wipers and could have used newer tires for all the rain we drove through.

Misleading then charged
Cons: I did a search on kayak for Bradley international airport and a car came up. I clicked the car to rent it and put in my credit card information. Once the credit card went through the site confirmed the pick up with in Hartford not Bradley. I called Hertz to cancel, and they said that because I had reserved through kayak, they would not refund me my entire amount and I was still charged $50.
