Cons: I had scheduled a smaller vehicle so that gas mileage would be good. When I got to the rental office desk, I was told that they didn't have any of the smaller vehicles so I would be getting a larger vehicle. I was then asked where I was going and when I said Maryland and Pennsylvania I was told that those states might be (I'm not sure of the exact terminology) extended mileage states. Upon checking, I was told that I would have to pay $20 a day for my 7 day rental. When I pointed out that I read that I would have unlimited mileage I was told that there was "small print" that mentioned about the extended mileage states. (This is not "unlimited mileage" and I believe it to be deceptive advertising) I was finally offered a "truck" for $10 extra per day which I declined due to gas mileage issues. I asked for my cards back, called for my ride to return and waited 30 minutes in the night air to be picked up. I scheduled a rental with another company when I got home and left the next morning without a hitch. I did tell the worker at Thrifty that I felt they would lose a lot of business with this deceptive advertising and I stand by that. I know they lost my business that night.

Pros: Good price, friendly staff, car had nice amenities
Cons: My car smelled like cigarette smoke, I had to wait at the airport for 10 minutes to be picked up, and I had to wait when I got to the hub to be waited on when I was first renting my car.

Awesome Jeep for phenomenal price
Pros: This is the second time I've rented with them and both times I've gotten the free upgrade to brand new Jeeps! The Jeeps were immaculate and the service was very friendly.

Doesn't accept ALL debit cards
Pros: The truck was well maintained and got a pretty decent deal.
Cons: They didn't specify that not all kinds of debit cards are accepted. Even when I attempted to pay my deposit and thought I had, the rep didn't tell me the card or the payment weren't accepted. Also if you are using someone else's credit card to pay, they have to be added as a driver even if they aren't driving or even going on your trip. That is ridiculous to have to pay the additional driver daily fee for someone not even driving!

Cons: Hidden fees. hundreds of documents signing away my life. Paid extra for 'extra mileage use', felt like they wanted money and nothing else.

Cons: When I arrived to the rental place and told them I was driving out of state they told me the price would be triple what I was quoted and it would be best to rent a different car. I ended up not renting from a Thrifty.

No Problems and a Credit!
Pros: It was ready when we arrived. Brand new Dodge Caravan, with updated features. We returned it 4 hours early and received a full day credit. Drop off was even easier than pick up. Again, we had no issues at the Thrifty Rental in Chattanooga, TN.
Cons: The only issue was with the vehicle. The Caravan has blind spots at the back row side doors. You can watch your mirrors, yet never know a car is flanking you. You must swivel your head before changing lanes. Other than that, I almost would want to purhase a minivan!!!
Pros: The car had plenty of leg room in the back, and trunk space was sufficient for 2 small suitcases and 3 travel bags. Air conditioning worked great. No problems during our trip. No hassle at time of return. Would rent again.

Pros: MPG was good. Searched for car at the airport and online had several choices. When I chose one it had airport right by the address, so I booked it. The day before the flight Emily calls to confirm. I again asked if this was the airport. She said no, but said she would call them and move it over. No mention that it would cost about $100 more than the $157 it was already that included a $92 fee for returning at a different location. I get to Chattanooga airport and they have no record of my reservation. Had I not had the email it would have been worse.

They didn't have a car.
Cons: I showed up and they said they were out of cars. They said they intended to call me and let me know but didn't. They said they allowed me to make the rental even though they didn't have s car because I went through Kayak. I won't be using Kayak or Enterprise again.

Poor customer service
Pros: The car was good.
Cons: My flight was late and I tried to call. I kept getting agent must be busy. Tried a few minutes later and was told office had been closed. When I called the main 800 number I was told it was in the same cubicle as Nation and the agent could rent both companies vehicles when I get to Chattanooga.
When I landed I was told I had reserved a car in town and not the airport and the Airport rate was far different than the one I had reserved. I typed in Chattanooga when I made reservations and it was the only thing that came up.
My $202.00 reserve cost me around $495.00. It was after 11:00 PM and I was presenting at a conference the next day in another town. I was not in the position to argue.
If I treated customers the way I was her I would spend more time in court than managing the business. If I had customers at all.

Pros: price of rental reasonable.
Cons: when I got car it only had 1/8 of tank of gas. Had to take time to fill up in pouring rain. Already running 30 min late because I had to wait to be delivered to off airport location.

Pros: Michael was helpful and gave me a free upgrade.
Cons: Enterprise wanted over double the price to rent a car at the airport. So. Had to rent a car from an office 7 miles from the airport, luckily I had a ride to get there.
Pros: Booked an economy sedan, but when we got there, the desk agent asked whether we'd like a convertible VW bug instead for the same price. It was a fun ride up through TN and VA to Washington, DC, in our tomato-soup red bug!
Cons: Perhaps because it had just come in, the car wasn't cleaned before we got it. The previous renter had obviously taken it to the beach, because there was sand on the floors, in the seat crevices, in the glove box, etc. Also, it would have been handy to have a copy of the car manual, as we had to figure out for ourselves which buttons worked the convertible roof and such. Finally, it was disappointing that the car had no USB ports, so we had no good way to listen to our devices or keep them charged during a 10-hour ride.
Cons: When I arrived to pick up the car, I was told they didn't have a car for me and it would be available until 1pm if it was brought back. When I called Customer Service, I was told to go to the air port and they would have a car for me there When I arrived there, they told me I wasn't scheduled to pick up the car until 3pm. They were wanting me to wait 3 hrs. for the car I reserved for 12pm. Then when all was said and done, I had to pay $40.00 more than the original price in order to get the car at the time I originally scheduled it for. POOR Service all around. The man in Chattanooga was HORRIBLE!!! He called at 11:30 to inform me the car wasn't going to be there. I asked why he didn't call sooner and he had no answer. HE SUCKS!! POOR additude!!!@
