During pickup they didn't have the car I wanted. For dropoff they charged me a $150 cleaning fee I can't dispute. Will never rent with Dollar again

Not have a vehicle that smelt like cigarettes, staff members that are helpful, ACTUALLY cleaning the cars!

Pros:

We got there to pick it up and they did not have the car we rented. We reserved a minivan for a family camping trip with 6 people. They had a Tahoe with no storage room for our stuff. The attendant did not offer solutions, or help us find another car. We had to scramble to find a mini van, driving to another town and spending $150 more. I had called dollar that morning to say we’d be late to pick up. They even confirmed my mini van. Worst experience, we ended up leaving hours later for our trip and having to set up camp in the dark with kids.

Cons:

They could have had the right car or at least called us to tell us they didn’t.
