Cons: Car was beat hard transmission slipped and screamed the entire trip driving it gently

Cons: Our flight was delayed by over an hour and by the time we landed the rental counter was closed. I was unable to contact them due to the fact that I followed the rules by turning my cell phone off once the cabin door was closed. I feel that hertz should ensure all flights are in prior to closing. I call customer service and told it was completely my fault and I was left stranded over 60 miles from final destination. I was only told to get a hotel room and wait til morning. This would all have cost me more money that I was not willing to spend. I will never rent from hertz again even as a last resort.

Cons: Did not mention details for each service cost. I ended up with a $1000 bill for only a-week rent.

Cons: Did not like the color. Black showed a lot of dirt. Do not like the gas feature of when the car is idling and turns off car to conserve gas.

Cons: The drop off-processing took a little longer than I expected. I was glad I was the only one there and didn't have to wait in line.

Cons: No manual in car, no insurance or registration paperwork, car was not clean, did not run right, evidence of smoking in car from previous renters.

Cons: We reserved a Full size and it was too small so had to upgrade and it cost us more. Don't feel the Ford Full size is a true FULL size car

Cons: Car was full of air freshener. Horrible! Had to drive with windows down in 30 degree weather. Smell got in my clothes and made me feel sick. would have returned but no time to go back out to airport.

Cons: When I returned the car they added a $4.99 per day trip saver fee. I h ad a flat tire and called Thrifty and Joe told me to call AAA. I had to find an exact match of the tire or pay for the tire and pay again to replace it on return. I finally found someone who had a match for the tire over 30 miles away while driving on a donut. I lost a day of traveling time and had an extremely hard time finding a hotel as it was Paris Island Marine Boot Camp Training Graduation weekend. I finally found a room at Country Inn and Suites in Beaufort S.C. (the management there gave us a room with little water pressure but it beat sleeping in the car because we couldn't drive on the spare Thank Goodness for them) So I ask what is the $4.99 per day Trip saver fee when I am told to call my own triple AAA.

Cons: The wait for the checkout was quite long. It seemed like the process was not nearly as automated I'm used to.

Cons: My understanding of the offer we booked was that we would have whatever car they had the most of on hand, expecting a compact or similar. Instead we were offered a 12 passenger van as the only option for the price promised. This does not seem like a reasonable option for a couple on a brief visit to upstate New York. It also would have been ridiculous for us to drive in a funeral processional in a 12-passenger van, but that's neither here nor there. As an alternative, we were suggested a Ford Mustang at double the rate we had booked. We ended up agreeing on a Ford Focus, at a cost of $100 more than our estimated total. The friendly Thrifty representative offered us the Mustang at the same price, which we accepted. The experience overall was mediocre. Had we known that only a van would have been made available to us for the agreed upon price, we would have made separate arrangements.

Cons: I got no help from u to correct the problem poor service

Cons: The car was parked very close to a car on the left, which made it very difficult for me to get into the car initially. The car was not clean when I first entered it. The steering wheel was oily and there were crumbs from food on the floor and under the emergency brake. The windshield wipers had some sort of sticky residue under the rubber, not allowing me to properly wipe my windshields. Visibility was low during my road trip, making driving somewhat dangerous.

Cons: Drop off was terrible. Persons in garage were pushy and grabbed my keys and locked the car as soon as I arrived. Asked them THREE TIMES NOT TO LOCK THE Car UNTIL I GOT MY TGHINGS OUT!!! But they did anyway and said they did not. They had the keys so it was not me who locked it. Seemed like they just wanted to grab the car and not give me time to exit Just a bums rush!!

Cons: The car smelled of smoke and had stains on the seats.

Cons: Nothing. I cancelled the reservation.

Cons: I wish he'd spent a little more time showing me the important accessories, it started to rain on the way home and I couldn't figure out the wipers until I got home, but I did know how to drop the back seats and turn on the seat warmers. Some of this on me, I was in a hurry. Overall, great experience.

Cons: Pick-up in Syracuse was long. I had the advantage of the line getting shorter when a customer left to get a car elsewhere No one was available to check car in at Rochester. Waited over 10 minutes. Ended up leaving keys on counter

Cons: Not knowing that if I brought it back early, the price reduced.

Cons: I reserved a compact car, but they could only offer me a pickup truck or a minivan. The minivan was nice and well equipped, but I would have preferred to have the vehicle I reserved instead.

Cons: Two hours into a drive that should have taken 4.5hours the transmission started to fail and there was no acceleration. Called roadside assistance but because I was in rural NY there were no pick-up locations nearby. I rented this vehicle to make a flight out of LGA and if I had waited for roadside assistance to finally get to me I would miss the flight. Despite repeatedly "resetting" the transmission I was only able to drive 40mph and even slower uphill. The drive was unsafe and unpleasant and what was a 4.5 hour drive became a 6 hour drive.
