Car was damaged and smelled like smoke. Customer service both at the rental location and service center needs an entire revamp.

I had to cancel my Rent-A-Car one month before. Due to the fact that I had to pay for it when I booked it in September. My credit card said that the credit would be coming back from sixt. They have no customer service number. It disconnects you. I have emailed multiple emails . My response was They are looking into it and they never get back to me. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would even except a credit I need to rent another car. But no one will get back to me. It is so upsetting

The first car shook when you went 40 mph or more, and had a dirty interior windshield. The second car that replaced it, had a driver's side seat belt that was broken. The third car was okay, but I had no windshield washer fluid. All of this car changing was very stressful, as it made me late for a medical appointment. I would never rent from them again. The people that I interacted with at Sixt were all very nice.

This was the ONLY company that let me rent a car in FL and drop it off in GA 2 days later. All other companies required me to rent for 1+ weeks. I had never heard of Sixt before; will definitely be renting from this company again!

Sixt car rental at the West Palm Beach airport is very good, however, one must be mindful of their office hours. I booked a flight that arrived at 9:45 PM. I then went on Kayak and booked my car rental through Sixt car rental at the West Palm Beach airport. I prepaid for the rental. Little did I know but their office closes at 10 PM. It would have been impossible to get to their office for the car after my flight. Perhaps I should have looked closer but it seems that their posted hours of operation should be clearer when one is booking a car from them. With some effort to include phone calls and emails I was able to change the booking (and my flight) to arrive before their office closed. The staff and the rental pickup and drop off process are very good and I would rent there again.

Car was a bit banged up with numerous minor scrapes, dents and scratches. Not terribly important to me but could be to others. No info at pick up regarding tolls and while on the road, seemed absolutely no way to contact them by phone. No number on their website either. Otherwise, smooth transaction, car was decent and clean.

Lotaya was the best! She was at the West Palm Sixt location and she was so friendly, accommodating, and attentive. She went above and beyond to help us and was such amazing person! She started my family’s vacation off in such a happy and we wish her the best in her future.

The website stated the vehicle rented would accommodate our luggage. It held one piece. I had to “upgrade “ to a bigger vehicle on the spot. A hurricane was headed our way. ALL spaghetti models showed it coming up the coast. We flew out early as we had minor children with us. Sixt charged us for the entire stay. I called and emailed. You CAN’T get a hold of a LIVE PERSON! A week and a half later an email was sent to us stating we weren’t in danger. POOR customer service and the wrong thing to say. It took my husband to contact operations management via LinkedIn to get resolution. This reflects on Kayak as well. Unlikely we will use either company in the future.

It was a horrible experience. I was charged irrelevant amounts.. completely different than the amount stated in the contract. I’m actually in shock. Returning the car in a far away place from the airport while carrying luggage afterwards is insane.

We had to take the car to a gas station to get air in the flat front right tire, there was no spare tire! We spent a small fortune for this car and it was not ready for us to rent. No spare tire and we had a flat! Read that again.

I'll try to put this in order. First, when we got to the agency there was one person behind the counter and there six customers waiting. Finally, when our time came other staff appeared. It took too long for me to get my car. Second, the new Malibu had the required fuel saving requirement in which the engine stops when the car stops; however, no one mentioned that and my wife and I thought that was a malfunction. We were prepared to drive the car back to the airport from Stuart, Florida; however, in stead of doing that we called Budget in Stuart hoping to exchange cars. A man there explained that the car was acting as it should and there was a button on the dash to override that annoying issue. Lastly, I filled the tank before returning the car; however, when I looked at the final statement while in the van heading to the airport I noticed a fuel charge of $17+dollars. I called Budget in OK and got a return call and was advised we would be credited for that amount.

Waited 40 minutes at airport terminal after airplane arrival and called 3 different phone numbers with no answer or service help after a 10 hour airport day. Never saw 1 Budget rental shuttle while Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, etc were coming around 3 and 4 times. Very disappointing. Ended up rebooking with Avis and got on the next Avis shuttle with immediate service.

I paid a LOT of money for a 4 hours rental - $100. And then when I returned the car, they gauged me for additional service that I didn't ask for - fuel surcharge. I did return the car with a full tank. Upon returning the car, I was in a hurry to my flight so I didn't have time arguing with the rental agency. I had to accept the charge. Only when I called Budget a day after, did they agree to refund me the surcharge. There was no reason for them to collect it, to begin with. It's a pure attempt to gauge customers.

When I booked this car rental I had asked for an airport car rental, so when I got to the Hertz from the airport shuttle and was told I was at the wrong location and would need to take a taxi to other location, they called a taxi but after 30 minutes i got back on the shuttle and went back to airport and got a taxi from there. I would not have booked this through Kayak if I knew it would cost an additional $40 in taxi fares. I will never use Kayak again and am writing to Hertz about the way it is advertised on your website.

Our agent was fast, friendly, and helpful. Vehicle was clean and in great condition.It would have been nice to have a way for us to get to/from the airport other than a taxi, Uber, or Lyft (need some sort of a shuttle). I don't understand why the "airport location" can have a shuttle, but this "satellite location" can't. I also don't understand why it costs an add'l $20-$30/day++ to rent from the airport location since it is all "Hertz".

Staff was competent and quick however when I rented at the same time that I reserved my airline ticket I assumed that the rental would be at the airport; it was not and nothing was mentioned beforehand. It was very inconvenient & costly to have to travel miles to the rental counter. Since you asked for my flight information at the time of the rental, I unfortunately assumed the rental was at the airport.Make it obvious that the rental counter is several miles from the airport. I will skip Kayak next time.

The staff was absolutely amazing!! They woman at the front seriously helped me and walked me through everything I needed to know, and informed me of each added on expense so there were no suprises. She had empathy like no other and really made sure i was taken care of. The young man whom I returned the car to was very nice and made sure I a ride home before returning the vehicle. Honestly the best staff you'll ever meet!Ace may have a lot of loop holes when it come to added om expenses, which is probably expected from renting, I had placed too much faith in a reliable range of reasonable additives, but it was a little crazy in that regard. The price you pay on kayak should be the only expense.

Hidden CostThe shuttle arrived in a timely manner to transport us to the off airport location. Our vehicle was ready and waiting when we arrived. The manager said that he gave us an upgrade but I have no way to know if that happened.I did not like that the rental office was not open when we wanted to return the car which resulted in an extra cost for me. I returned the car to the long term parking area at the airport which was fine. But I got charged $11 for the parking fee which is a cost that I was not expecting when I made the reservation. The car also did not have cruise control or a digital speedometer. I didn't rent the cheapest class available so I was surprised to not have what I consider very basic equipment on the vehicles of today.

There should be better coordination / instructions from KayakThe car was very nice and affordable. The people at the ACE agency were pleasant and cooperative.There were no instruction on the rental agreement from Kayak that the customer should CALL the agency for pickup upon arrival. The other companies vans came and left several times before we finally called the agency and figured out that a call was required to initiate a pickup at the airport. This should not reflect on ACE - it should reflect on KAYAK - if I had known to make that call I would have saved a lot of time.

The wait time was absurd. There was a dedicated person for the Avis Premiere / Membership line and there was no one using it. Meanwhile, there was one person doing all of the other rentals and the line was enormous. This was completely ridiculous.

I didn't receive the car I had reserved, there was no car for me to pick up at noon, when promised, asked if they would call me when my car came in nobody called. I finally went there all they had was a downgrade car so I took . I was told that the manager would call me on Saturday, which she never did, The car I received from them had mechanical problems 5 minutes after I received it but they had already closed long story short ended up at the airport and finally at 7pm I was given a car too small subcompact, from an SUV original reserved to that. The 3rd person in our group was smashed in the backseat with the luggage. Very disappointed with enterprises and want money back

AmazingAli, the gentleman who took us to our rental was very sweet. He struck up a conversation as we walked through the lot and was very helpful! So Easy!It was very easy on both ends to pick up (Ft Meyers) and drop off (W Palm Beach). No hassles on either end! The car was big enough for 4 adults plus a child in a car seat and all our luggage, gear and groceries (Nissan Altima).The upholstery in the car was pretty stained and the console could have been cleaner. It was clear that this car had been used quite a bit. But that took a little pressure off trying to keep it pristine over the week we had it. It wasn't gross just time for a little detailing.

Florida for the HolidaysIt was very easy to pick up in Ft. Meyers and drop off in West Palm Beach! I thought this might be a hassle or expensive but it was easy and reasonably priced. The car (Hyundai Sonata) got great gas mileage and was plenty big enough for 4 adults and a child in a car seat plus luggage.My only negative comment is that the car could have been cleaner. The upholstery was clean but the seats had obvious signs of use.

The agent who served us was wonderful. He was friendly, polite, accommodating and very knowledgeable. He was the only agent on duty, had a line forming, and took the time to greet each person and say that he would be with them shortly. Excellent customer service. The interior could have been a little cleaner and the interior windshield had spray stains on it that impacted our vision at night. All in all, great experience.

Terrible. I went to pick up the 15 person van I had reserved only to find confusion and unprofessionalism. They didn't even have a van large enough, and moreover we were never told they don't allow their vehicles to leave Florida. I would NEVER recommend them.
