I will never use Budget again for my rental needs... The Reservation I made for a Ford Transit passenger van, was not honored. I received a call from local agent a few hours before scheduled pickup, who stated that they were sold out of the vehicle I had "RESERVED"... What's the point of making a reservation, when most of the car rental companies, OVERBOOK their vehicles, Just like the airlines!!! Very dissatisfied customer!!!

Drop off was easy and the car was comfy.
Cons:
I made a reservation for a compact car the day before at a specific location and I get to the pickup location and they tell me I have to drive another 15 minutes to another location because they were out of compact cars. That part was fine but a heads up ahead of time would’ve been great. The car I was given at the new location was dirty. The trunk was full of old receipts, a roll of raffle tickets and other trash. The cashier at the new location tried to charge me 30 dollars more than i was quoted. Luckily I caught it before he ran my card.
Car was dirty, had been smoked in and was just rough in general. The cost of the rental was very high in my experience.

staff at pick up was okay; polite; did not appear knowledgeable about the car nor have time to provide more than perfunctory direction to the best route to the hwy. staff at drop off was rude
Cons:
the car was quite comfortable. the dash board lights were very bright resulting in dangerous discomfort and distraction at night. the radio was of very low quality and also shined brightly. I tried, unsuccessfully, to reduce the brightness.

Nothing, this was a terrible experience.
Cons:
When I arrived at hertz, they made me wait over an hour as they didn't have any cars available and someone had to drive it from jacksonville. Then, there was inflexibility when I wanted to change my drop off location. They wouldn't let me even during difficult times like COVID. Then, I received erroneous additional charges on my credit card. Horrible experience. And customer service was incredibly rude.
