The Ruidoso Enterprise location is no longer open, however Kayak let me book a rental car from this location. I showed up to pick up and no one was there and the place was basically boarded up. Called the number and was redirected to the Alamogordo location where they informed me that the Ruidoso location was no longer in operation.5.2 Fair

I asked for a Hyundai kia suv and they didnt have one. I wanted a vehicle that was raised off the ground because some sites we to see had terrible roads. They said it was a upgrade but it didnt meet my needs. They should let me know if they can not provided me the car I wanted before I went to pick it up. Also why doesnt the rental companies open late in alburquerque? My plane from New York arrives at 11:30 pm and couldnt get a rental at that time to drive to Roswell. Other than that the men at Enterprise were nice.National

To start off with, I arrived at the location slightly before 0800h (open time for the location) and had to wait over 15 mins past open time for the service agent to get onsite to open the location up. this is not the first time that they open later then reservation time/open time and this impacts routing and drive time logistics for trips. Next, renting a car is about experiance and image, the image relayed in this rental was very poor, the car was heavily and visibly damaged on the out side, the car presented the mage of scratches dents and cuts into the car, this did not relay the image of professionalism let alone a rental car from a company like Hertz, this was the roughest condition of a car i have EVER rented. As for the inside of the car, the car was not cleaned, as mentioned by the agent it had just been dropped off out of normal business hours, then due to rushing, i was given no records showing the damage of the car being recorded, when mentioned while trying to take as many pictures as possible to document what i was renting, I was simply told its all noted and that there was a sticker showing this (small clear sticker with an H) which was only placed on the rear bumper when damage was on all 4 sides of the car. Lastly, there was not even any current registration in the car, the one in the car had expired in april 2019, this lead to me having to pull off the interstate just to check the tags on the car and then hope that i did not go through any check point where i had to show this. No rental experiance should be riddled with this many issues, these are things that need to be addressed. the image projected was not up to par with the Hertz name or image, or what i have come to expect as the service provided.6.0 Okay
