Cons: Upon picking up my rental from the canyon country, CA location- I was informed my rental had not been cleaned and was offered a car wash voucher to take care of it myself. I declined; seeing j was simply renting the car to get back home in the Lake Tahoe area. Driving the vehicle- no problems, didn't eat or drink in the car and am not a smoker. I simply wanted to get home. I returned the vehicle to the Harrahs casino location, left the keys in the drop box and called the original canyon country location to confirm I had dropped the keys properly (I did not feel comfortable simply leaving car/keys without checking out with the attendant). The following day my bank acct states I had been over charged by hertz- I contacted customer care and told them the situation and she informed me I had been charged for cleaning- I immediately contact the canyon country location and asked them to contact the harrshs casino location to confirm with them that I was not responsible for the unkept nature of the car- I had picked it up in canyon country with no cleaning been done prior to me renting the car. The gentlemen (Sam) at the canyon country office has attempted to contact the harrshs location for two days, along with myself trying to contact them- they are not answering any phone lines.
I will continue to attempt to resolve this- and I will never rent from hertz again- seeing How impossible this whole situation has become. How unprofessional the harrshs casino location has been is something I've never experienced with any business.
Please resolve this issue. I'm exhausted attempting to fix your companies lack of communication between branches
