Pros: The car we received was great on gas, and had lots of "bells and whistles" like sensors and a back up camera (which is nice when you're in an unfamiliar car or in unfamiliar places)
Cons: The car wasn't fully detailed when we received it (leaves in the truck and dirt was still on the floor mats) The attendant tried to rush us along while we were inspecting scratches and gauges on the car. There wasn't much selection when we arrived and we were clearly given the lowest quality car available. The associates were also a bit rude and unfriendly and didn't try to assist us when we had questions. I felt a bit profiled. It all seemed very rushed with lots of unexpected charges even though we had prepared beforehand. I felt a little taken advantage of and was not treated with the same courtesy I gave to them. Their card reader didn't work for my credit card and I had to end up using my debit card which made my traveling a little annoying. The car was horribly cramped and uncomfortable. It was VERY compact and was not fair that Hertz classified it as "Economy". I left my road trip with severe neck pain and back cramping. Overall it was an okay experience but it could have been much nicer with better customer service and an honest car selection.
