Pros:The online rental experience was excellent.
Cons:I was helped within 5 minutes of arrival. It took 1 1/2 hours to pick up the rental. The rental car was not at the location and they did not share this information with me. If they would have told the truth, I could have been much more understanding.

Cons:Jeep had a deflated tire that needed filled quite a bit. Hatch had left over clothes in it. I Was charged a 70 airport tax and a 200 dollar deposit at the new location because the original pickup location was close due to overnight robbery. No one contacted me to inform me the location was closed.

Cons:Rented a 12 passenger van for Florida trip with our grandchildren in March for our trip scheduled the first week in June. Received a letter of confirmation and Confirmation #. Went to the Hertz rental facility to pick up the van (day before we were to leave for Florida) and they "did not have a 12 passenger van available. The van rental was already paid for in March and insurance paid for. We were told that they reached out to us to see if we still wanted it. We were not home to receive this call as we were picking up our grandchildren for the big Florida trip, so apparently they just canceled our reservation without our knowledge. When calling customer service, they were only interested in getting us a refund but to date we still have not received this. We will never, ever do business with Hertz again.

Cons:We registered online and received a confirmation number. Arrived at Enterprise on a Thursday only to find out that we did not have a car reserved but were placed on a waiting list, 11th in line on the list and wouldn't have a car available for us until Monday afternoon or Tues. If there are no cars available, the website should not reserve vehicles they do not have! We ended up going to a dealership and buying a car. So frustrating!!!

Pros:The staff was very helpful, and insured I had a great experience.
Cons:That there were no hidden surprises, which there was the front driver side tire had a leak in it. During the night, it leaked, so I report told staff during drop-off and they are going to take care of it.

Cons:Just to many little details they don’t tell you about. I also rented a 12 passenger van on the website but got a 15 passenger bus! Asked why I was getting this they said they don’t have 12 passenger vans.......so why is it on the website?
Pros:I liked NOTHING. Booked an suv a month ago, was called by them the day before to confirm the suv, showed up right on time and they did not have anything available. Unacceptable. And they could have cared less.
Cons:Have the vehicle (or something similar) as scheduled. Terrible TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Cons:I requested a 12 passenger but received a 15 passenger which made luggage storage a big issue.
Cons:Awful location for a car rental business. Tiny office/ waiting room; barest bones imaginable. First offered minivan was a Toyota Siena stripper in poor shape. Lots of dings, rubs, scratches, scrapes, even front plastic fascia was detached near the left headlight indicating some kind of contact. Worst part: vehicle didn’t have a remote key fob. Swapped for a 2018 Dodge Caravan GT. Even though vehicle was on the lot, it wasn’t rental ready. Empty bottles and trash. They quickly took it to the back to clean it up while I waited. Because the guys that man the counter are the same guys that do the garage stuff, they are woefully undermanned. Operating on a shoestring? Eventually vehicle was presented. Still had miscellaneous garbage in it. While driving it home to load up in the drizzle I discovered the rear wiper was malfunctioning; it had been twisted 180 degrees so it wiped the body below the window instead of the glass. I returned it. Did I mention the lousy location? Only one way to access their location; if you make turn down the wrong street, even with their lot in sight, there’s no way to get there because of one way strays, closed gates, etc. You have to retrace your route to start again. I had to go in into the office. A guy came out to the car with. with me. They flipped the wiper arm over. I didn’t have time to quibble. I took it as is. I got it home in the driveway to load up. Noticed front tire and rear tires were not same brand and relatively worn, and all air stems were missing their twist on caps. Oh well. During the trip I had to use wipers almost the entire time. Yep, you guessed it. Noisy chattering drove everyone crazy. On Thanksgiving Day, in a small town I found an auto parts store. Bought and installed new wiper blades on my rental. Fixed it! Good clean and silent wipers for the first time in four days. Also bought some window wipes to clean up the filthy front and rear window interiors. At least the car worked well. I’m in the process of having Avis reimbursement me for the wipers. Bottom line: Avis corporate needs to do a better job protecting their brand. The location I used was no better than “Economy Motors” not something I expected from Avis.
Pros:What I thought I booked was great. What I got was not
Cons:I searched for airport pickup. What was booked was offsite. Avis airport desk would not tell me how far it was to the offsite location so I could Uber over, they charged double the price and did not enter my Wizard number. Told me he would have to start the reservation all over.
Pros:The customer service
Cons:Car smelled like smoke. Also, they allowed me to book s rental for a van, then on the morning I came to pick it up they told me you had to be 25+ to rent a van. Worst experience I have ever had with any company. I will never rent with Avis again.
