Its proximity to the Premium Outlets at Woodsbury Commons. The poor condition of the furniture & fittings. Only coffee provided in the morning - no hot water available to make our own use.
It is fairly reasonable compared to other motels in the area and was located close enough to West Point for easy access.
close to woodbury outlets service,,cold room, low lights in the room
Convient to shopping which was why we were there. Some of the staff were not very helpfull and begruged us any extra stuff ie towels and shampoo
Very good location to go shopping in Woodbury Outlet. Otherwise, don't stay there. The satff is very confused, they've charged me a day that I canceled, but they called to booking.com and I fixed it.
Not located in walking distance from Outlet Center as promissed on internet! Very dirty and old. Even if it was a non smoker room, the smell of smoke was immense!
The room was really nice as well as the staff.
dirty, bad service, expensive, the price not match the quality yes
location room style
perfect location for shopping at Woodbury premium outlet not as clean as I expect
Close proximity to Woodbury Commons Factory outlet
Fine; room smelled like wet paint when we got there but was nice. Our friends on the second floor (we were on the first) had a gross room that smelled like wet dog, though. Maybe they're renovating, but so far only part of the building?
Convenient location to area businesses No complaints
Staff friendly and helpful in trying to resolve issues by giving us another room. Arrived on Friday night and as we entered the hallway on 2nd floor to go to our room the smell of marijuana smoke filled the air. The smell was so strong we thought they were smoking in hallway. Our room was in another hallway and the smell of cigarette smoked filled the air and our room. I asked the clerk if we could move to a room away from the smoking rooms and was told this was a non smoking facility. The smoking was a guest issue but not having cable tv in the room was a hotel issue that we were not aware of. We were told this was due to transition to digital cable which was in process of switching over. Being aware of this prior would have made all the difference. This was not an issue at the hotel other family members were staying at. The bed we had which was king size was so hard and uncomfortable we took the sheet of to make sure it wasn't a boxspring. I had stayed at this hotel a year ago during the week with a room on 1st floor and didn't have any of these issues. After this experience will not stay again. I do want to mention the staff and breakfast was good.
hot breakfast with protein (eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt), which is sorely missing at most motels. Original room did not have microwave and fridge, which we signed up for. Replacement room had fridge, which we needed very much. Microwave in common area worked fine.
Outdated! Furniture falling apart and carpets were dirty. Only available hotel with room in the area or we wouldn't have stayed there. We checked after seeing the room. Needs a complete facelift.
I thought it was a great value and the room was big and the bedding was comfortable. Nobody cleaned my room on my first night. I don't know if that was normal but it seemed odd.
The location is great. Very easy to arrive. It has enough parking spaces. Great WiFi. Rooms are spacious. Nice staff. It's dated but I don't Care.
This place was--- a night. The room smelled really musty but it didn't bug me that much.
The hotel staff were very friendly, and the room provided the basics: decent bed, television, and bathroom with shower. Even free WiFi. The location was convenient to West Point and other attractions in the Hudson River valley. The TV remote did not work, and there was no alarm clock in the room. Also, the motel's credit card processor was not working, so we had to pay with cash. These were minor inconveniences that didn't bother us much.
This is an economy motel and was excellent value, location for West Point is great. The staff were outstanding and friendly. The room was immaculately clean and warm. Not a dame thing forxxxx a night. Great value for money.
Proximity to 9W, cheap, get what you paid for
The room was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. It's a very basic motel. You need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, etc. However, it lived up to my expectations. I do wish that the lighting was better in the room.
The owner was very nice. I felt the door lock was not as adequate as I hoped, but served its purpose.
1 clean, comfortable, large space room 2 owner is kindly 3 great location, only 10 mins to woodbury outlet
nothing Attitude of owner when asked for refund. Belligerent and threatening. Refused to listen to legitimate complaints even after we advised him that we were going to notify you and the town building inspector.
Location is great for an Event at Anthony Pier 9 as its right down the road. Beds are a little uncomfortable but the room is clean and is a good value.
Convenient location considering my travel needs. It was really funky, I like old timey places like this... but not for the price I paid. Room had a musty smell, old furniture, water was very coppery smelling/tasting. All things considered, it was overpriced for the condition of the establishment. I would’ve expected it to be priced accordingly between $---
It was located near where I wanted to be and the price appeared to be very reasonable. There was a musty smell, the front window would not open, the bathroom sink was loose.
Proximity to West Point Heating pipes creaked at night. The "continental breakfast" is some plastic-wrapped Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and self-serve coffee and juice, without any tables. The carpet in the rooms was a bit gross. The bathroom fan was loud. It was expensive for what it is ($200+/night).
The location and scenery even though I was only staying because of a lst minute change to my schedule
