Cost of parking.
I arrived 2am and there was no reservation and the company never told me there was a problem with my card. Spend until 4am getting another reservation for next day and then arrived and there was no reservation again. They ruined my entire business trip. had to spend half day looking for another hotel. The first night Marriott accommodated me in a room that was not what I expected. At least had a place to sleep.
They were kind and very helpful, but the room I got was not what I expected. But It wasn't hotel's fault was getaroom.com fault.
The best part is that the Merriot is in the "heart of the city".
It is such a big hotel I found it chaotic especially with several different events going on. Crowds of people, lots of noise. Just too big a apace for me!

The view from the room was very good The staff was excellent. The place had a very modern feel and look. The bed was very comfortable I would go back.
The room did not have enough outlets. The room was small for the cost.
Great location and we had a wonderful view of Michigan Avenue and the lake. The hotel was always "hopping" which our family loves.
The Marriott Hotel itself was great. I had purchased 6 rooms. All prepaid. It was a complete nightmare working with Kayak and Hotels.Com (which apparently is owned by Expedia.com) and the Marriott. I would never use a 3rd party to book again. I spent hours with all parties involved trying to verify reservations.
