It may seem a bit expensive but the service is effective and prompt. They have in and out privileges and are quick to help
There is no free WiFi but I have my own mobile plan.
Front desk staff Location Kind to offer large check out
Weak wifi Outrageous daily parking fee
Great valet service.
Very few amenites for what you pay. Service was slow at best. Concierce desk was helpful. Very good at housekeeping, but not worth the money you pay.
Great dining options available and close by to lots of shopping outlets.
It would be wonderful if I could have a city view instead of facing another building since Chicago is such a nice city. Not close to any subways.
The hotel has decent accommodations and lives up to the name. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, & the bathrooms are clean. (don't park there!!!!)
PARKING PRICES, WTF!? Buying anything (aside from the room itself) from the Westin is out of the question/budget.
Hospitality, service, beds, bar
Loved the Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Shower!
Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a prime location to many shops and restaurants.
Obviously its a great location, shopping, food, everything that Chicago has to offer is at your finger tips.
The rate I got through Kayak was great for the room, however, EVERYTHING else at this hotel is so darn expensive. A can of Coke from room service is $6.00. Overnight parking for a hotel guest is $67.00 per night!!!!! The restaurant there.. "The Grill", I went and looked at their menu and everything was EXTREMELY expensive. The hotel is decent, but the paint on my bathroom ceiling was chipping off. It just isn't THAT nice of a hotel to warrant all the extremely high prices of everything else. I've stayed at other hotels that have pillow top beds that were more comfortable. The bed was fine, but again, not SO NICE that you felt like you were in a luxury hotel and would be willing to pay for all the extras. I used "Spothero" and found parking about a mile away from the hotel for 4 days and spent a total of $68 for parking so I didn't have to pay $67 PER NIGHT to park at the hotel. That is OUTRAGEOUS!!
This hotel is not what i expected...horrible valet service had to wait forever...i told them not to charge my card for the 67 dollars of parking everyday i was paying them cash and when i checked out they charged me again for the parking because they didnt have records that i was paying cash! Will never go back... Staff is super rude!
The concierge helped out a whole lot. And the service was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!
Dated interior, bathroom wasn't very clean, staff didn't restock toiletries when cleaning and after 3 days we were out of shampoo, conditioner and lotion.
Location. We have stayed at numerous Westins over the years and generally love the hotel chain. This Westin was a tremendous disappointment and I would not go there again. Most of the staff was NOT helpful or pleasant. The sink did not operate properly. Too small of sheets were on my daughter's bed. They were not particularly polite or pleasant, our bellman was an exception-he was great.
Worn looking, needs renovation. Beds are supposedly larger than a full, but less than a queen. I prefer two queens when traveling as a family.
