I was disappointed. Apparently budget means missing parts, here in NC. THE VEHICLE WAS MISSING.TWO HUB CAPS, was idling very fast, and running poorly.

Pros:

Drop off was difficult and unclear. There was only a small sign saying that budget was closed and to return car to avis. this should have been told to me at the time of pickup to avoid complications catching my flight

Cons:

they should have disclosed that they would not be "open" during my return hours and how to return the vehicle to prevent issues when trying to catch my flight after spending 30 minutes driving around the rental area and airport trying to figure it out for myself

I rented a convertible to drive away from my wedding to our reception. They called me 10 minutes before pickup and said “whoever rented the convertible didn’t bring it back last night.” Upon calling them a second time and speaking to another representative, he informed me they never have convertibles, so whoever spoke to me the first time lied to me. Then he told me they couldn’t help me find the convertible at another local Enterprise and that they wouldn’t honor my Kayak prices. I spent over an hour ON MY WEDDING DAY on hold and talking to various clueless, helpless, hand-wringing local and corporate Enterprise employees. Long story short, we had to rent a convertible from Alamo and they were *AWESOME*, but it ended up being triple the price. Stay away from Enterprise. They’re hapless.

Despite making our reservation for a small sedan nearly a year ago, the only vehicle available was a RAM 1500 truck. The gas mileage was horrible and it hadn’t been washed.

Pickup was bad, took 2 hours to get to counter. Cars were not clean and not organized to pick from parking spot. Had to do 2cars paperwork and finally got 3rd car and out of location after 2 hours delaying my trip

The vehicle did not handle well. I felt very uncomfortable driving the vehicle. When accelerating the vehicle moved in a Jenkins fashion. When taking left turns the vehicle pulled tremendously. And, when braking, it was not smooth in coming to a stop. I initially thought it was the type of vehicle but throughout the course of the week it became apparent that some of the issues were brought on by lack of maintenance on the vehicle. (On my way home from the rental site the service light came on stating that it wS past due for an oil change. ) The saying "You get what you pay for...) was very true in this case. I was very disappointed. :( Mary V Johnson
