The service was amazing! Nothing, it was all great
a spacious room, nice bathroom, fantastic bed. the staff are very friendly and nice. breakfast: some pastry items were not fresh, the orange juice doesn't flow out of the container easily. sometimes the pastry items are not restocked in time.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great (even thu it is a bit expensive). First, small room was given to me (in corner), even we couldn't fit the my child cot inside. Then,it was changed after several arrgement with receptionest. Check-in time was long !. Escilators out side the hotel are not working. I have to claim 90 steps everytime I go out (with child seat). Internet is not free (expensive)
The location is ideal for working in La Defense. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very expensive. I had a hot chocolate which cost €5.50 which is a ridiculous price! And €10 per hour for internet use in the room is far too expensive. I would expect this to be included in the room price as that was expensive also.
Nearness to the business district. Good rooms. Good Service. Comfortable stay.
Location perfect for work at La Défense
Very comfortable and spacious room, good location, close to public transportation, very quiet. Very expensive Internet access - even 90 euros Paris hotels have free internet access !!!!
The staff kindness and professionalism. The room quality. Nothing.
room, bad, location, car parking distance from metro
Comfortable room There was no vegitarian options on the menu except stir fry. I was extremely disappointed by this as all good hotels offer a much better range. Therefore, I had a sandwich.
quite and its location you have to walk through a very long stairs to reach the metro and the grand arch area. there is escalator but it wan out of service for 5 nights
Space of the rooms and comfort
Stayed at Fraser Suite in London, all of us said good. When we come to Fraser at La Defense, all of us say Wow - it excellent. 1. Less than 5 mins walk to metro. 2. Very nice, friendly and helpful front desk. 3. Our 2-bedroom are very comfort (very similar to N. America spacing). It not like normal hotel room in Europe - Fraser here provide a big room. Our 2 bed-room also comes with 2 balconies. 4. Quiet and fresh air (compare to Paris downtown) environment. If travel with 4 or more people, this is the 1st choice - no doubt.
Hotel staff is very friendly, rooms are large, location is very convenient even if you want to visit Paris, hotel is close to subway. nothing - all good
The space no diner facilities
Location, very good breakfast and the space of the rooms. The staff is not very welcoming. the view of the room was very bad.
clean and the location of hotel
Convenience of location and siz of the apartment. Plenty of space. Automatic switching on of the air conditioning at 6am every morning no matter whether it was off or not!!!
Hotel is located a stone's throw from the main Metro line, so it is in a convenient location, however it is in the business district.
nice and roomy. nice view. good kitchen. Overall, a great stay.
We stayed as a group. This hotel was ideal for us, having a separate kitchen. The location was great only a short ride in the metro The only complaint that we had was the room sounded like the wind was coming through the front door and was very noisy.
clean, and helpful staff The hotel entrance was close during my stay, the car parking should be free but they charge 20 Euro per day
The location is perfect. Now most of the hotels in the world provide free internet service. E.G. Concorde Lafayette in Porte Maillot, Paris
it was easy and comfortable, the location was good and easy for the city either by taxi or train. Very expensive, but so were all the other Paris hotels that day!!
Well designed and furnished , 5 minutes walk from the Metro, placed in scrapsky quarter - nice to see 1-2 times. Restaurant in the lobby is very expensive and has very small choice of the meal. Breakfast is usual one but also is rather expensive. I also may recommend to the hotel concierge not to use this taxi service that they ordered for us. We wait it 30 mins in the lobby and we sited to the car - it was already 22 euros. I asked driver - why - he said - "its no problem, I won't charge you additionally" - but finally he did.
the junior suite is spacious. the espresso machine, the bed. near a big shopping mall. Quite business area. It is a bit expensive. the conceirge (unintentionally) mislead us when we ask him about rent a car company in the city.
Room, location good for the sites, all the sites are the metro 1 line (yellow) which is the la defense. The food was expensive and of low quality.
It is close to subway, and rather quiet on weekends. The bedding is excellent, very comfortable. The route going to the hotel by car or taxi is so winding and takes a lot of turns within the district before reaching the hotel. This is due to the public traffic planning in La Defense, perhaps.
the comfortable bed No
Fresh, clean, modern, simple Shower leaked under glass door - no lip to stop flow, duvets are too hot even with air-conditioning on high fan
nice design, location, staff no free wifi, no body milk, breakfast could have been better (no boiled eggs)
the location the internet not free like other 4-star hotels in paris
access to parking is not easy. we had to walk long way. without navigation system, it is not easy to reach hotel entrance by car.
Good price, good location (near métro), excellent views of seine & paris, very large room for price, comfortable Some of the staff could have been more polite
the staff were very friendly and helpful no swimming pool
hotel location bad air conditioning system. no good staff provided at the toilet.
Very close to Paris. Not noisy at all. Nothing to see around the hotel.
The hotel was very convenient and the staff were very helpful getting taxis, booking restuarnats for us. very good overall
the location no
Good location, good view of Paris from rooms, overall cleanliness
Room had a view of the Eiffel tower which I was not expecting. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast at the hotel was good. Had dinner one night at the hotel, it was terrible. Eat dinner somewhere else. The AC didn't really work but the weather was mild so it wasn't an issue.
Very friendly and attentive staff who were happy to speak English. The hotel is located in a great area with river and city views and close access to the Metro and Disneyland trains The hotel is very busy with package tours and the facilities struggle to cater for the large numbers especially the breakfast catering and internet access
TV, newly furnished carbets at room. closeness to the facilities such as Mac and oter resturants, RER and metro> good breakfast very safe nighborhood, i recommend it for budget travellers. staff are excellent very small double bed, I mean very small doesnt fit for one!!! , you hear everything around you like there were no walls. I had difficult times sleeping there especially when the house keeping start their job at 11 a.m
I like location of Hotel La Régence brekfest
Good value for money, small but comfortable room, the neighbourhood is quite far from the touristic centre but very quiet and safe, nice restaurants nearby The hotel is not very close to the metro station, so be prepared to have at least 5-10 min walk, but the descriptions on the hotel own web site are very clear and make it easy to find. Be careful and later at night do not use exit G of La Defance metro station, as it does not seem very safe.
Cleanliness of the room, breakfast
Its a very nice, clean hotel. The french breakfast is good.
I like the room, Internet is free and work well. It is very good for the price / facilities. Poor breakfast.
Bathroom was very clean, the room was quiet. The room was a little small, but good enough for our purpose: just to stay there at nights, during our city visit. The location is nice, about 15 minutes to the nearest metro station. I would definitely go bakc to stay there. Room was a little small, and the hotel was a bit hard to find, so be prepared with a map.
The 2 guys (Gregory was one of them, forget the other guys name) at reception gave great advise. No
Neighborhood is nice and calm, the hotel itself is good value for money The hotel should fix the button of the toilet (but it is small problem anyway)
Close to La Défense. The parking garage is difficult to access with baggage for a strong person. I would think that a frail person could not manage.
"Mercure" parking place
Local to where I was going, good combo internet/pay tv package, good breakfast for france, resonabl eprice slow checkout, they need a kiosk checkout
Helpful staff Very noisy in the reception area and bar due to "tourist groups"
Clean and efficient.
Breakfast: excellent. Hotel design and condition: perfect. Room facilities (safe, a/c, tv, etc.): perfect. Internet access: very convenient. Parking facility existing: ok. But extremely inconvenient: located in a nearby building. From that place to hotel entrance: combination of extremely narrow lift and stairs, very inconvient especially when carrying luggages. No temporary parking possibility in front of hotel entrance and no valet help. When being there first time by car, you are lost.
Clean, comfortable, quiet, nice view, friendly staff Rush time when leaving in the morning, wait for breakfast.
Convenient for La Defense area. Hotel was good value for money. The staff were very good, but checking in time was too long.
small bag with two bottles of water & snacks was given to me for city tour in checking in at reception littel bit long distance from parking space to reception, and small space at lift and stair case, so difficult to carry heavy big luggage. restaurant is closing for dinner
very expensive considering breakfast is extra cost effective poor rating the price , food poor
The room was very nice and large. The breakfast buffet was very good and the proximity to Orly was a real assett as it allowed us to have a relaxing time before a long flight
Proximity to the airport. Shuttle bus Strong smell of tobacco in my non smoking room. Very overpriced room!!!
A pair of bathroom slipper
The Concierge was extremely helpful, otherwise not up to the normal Hilton standard Cockroaches in the restaurant at breakfast, nasty stains on the couches in the reception area! The faux wooden flooring in the bedrooms is very noisy. No refrigerator in the room.
It was clean and the staff were helpful. The menu was limited and the charges for the food, both in room and out, were outrageous.
Good romm. Good brekfeast.
Location The bedrooms are old (poorly furnished) an the bathroom is not of a 4star hotel.
Location is convenient if you need to stay close to the airport. That was within walking distance from terminal, what really was helpful due to taxi drivers strike that shut all transportation fro and to terminal. Not worth the value. The room was overheated and no way to cool it down. I couldn't sleep well waking up sweating. Staff admitted the problem but didn't even try to solve it. I general I can't really say that staff is unfriendly, but they are kind of distant? Don't really interested to help, it looks like they just don't care. Another example that they don't care about customer convenience is that You can't leave a luggage for safety between the checkout and time you need to leave for your flight.
The staff, Paying for Internet
Proximity to the airport and shutle bus No minibar in the room
quick check-in, big rooms, fast elevators, poor breakfest, too expensive internet
Convenient location Orly Airport Helpful staff Broken heating - too hot Room generally shabby
The dinner buffet and the breakfast selection are quite excellent! I did think it was quite clean and I loved my room. I wish all the hotels I stayed at were as well-maintained as here. I spent so little time here I didn't notice anything that went negatively.
The location is very good: is near the metro station(about 10 minutes to walk) and also near the Arc de Triomphe (about 4 or 5 metro station or 40 minutes to walk). The neighborhood is ok and seems to be safe. The personal stuff was very nice. In the bathroom I found some hairbreadths. It wasn t warm in the room and the heating (machine) was very old.The breakfast was very poor.
Nothing particular. The place was ok. Not far from la Defence, and comparatively cleaner than many other hotels i know in paris. The room was clean - at least it appeared so. the bathroom also. but i found a lot of hair stuck in the drain of the showerbox. Walls were thin, and I could hear people coming back from their outing and banging doors close etc etc. Not too expensive overall, but for what it is, I think the price is a little high (but reasonable in Paris).
A bit difficult to find way there and back to the business centre - not the hotel's fault.
Location, Price and safe No issues.
affordable staff did not clean the room everyday particularly the toilet
Internet is totally terrible.
helpful staff queue at breakfast
nearby Turkish restaurants and metro (15 min. by walking) communication with reception people (poor English)
View of the Eiffel Tower. Friendly staff The lift was tiny, only fit one person. No Iron in the rooms as specified on the website
It's location was ideal for our office, although not too easy to find! The room and bathroom were small and although clean, were very basic.
location Poor concierge/housekeeping facilities. I had forgotten to bring my UK-France power adaptor, despite requesting a loan adaptor three times, I eventually had to go our and buy myself one from the local supermarket - not good service from a hotel of this level and price.
The location. The booking stated free use of high speed internet but the hotel charged for it when checking out.
confort and quality of the room, proximity to business center and underground metro
Hotel Bar , Lobby , Staff Price refreshments
The hotel staff, especially Julien, was most helpful. The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it smelled of smoke.
It is a comfortable place, you feel well and can have a good rest. Too long waiting for checking in
very big and comfortable bed. funny card system to use the elevator.
Access to the underground & RER-train. Huge Shopping center in front. The mattress really need a replacement - this is not a Marriott style bad. They are thin, old and broken. The cleaning should be done better in a four stars - there was a dirt pillow that never got replaced during 5 nights (I kept it as a test to check..)
Good location Rooms need refurbishment
the stuff they help as a lot in giving the right direction to places that we want to visit in paris -- by train ,, they were very nice yes, the bathroom.. as a musilm we need water after entering the toilet ..and they provide tissue only
The fact that it is a studio/apt with small kitchen. Feels a lot more homy than most hotels. This hotel does not have non-smoking room, as I've been told by reception. I've specified it in the reservation but was not told there were no smoking room. Having allergies, it was an important issue and the actual room that I was assigned was particularly smelly, obviously having someone before that smoked considerably. I had to leave after the first night for developping asthma symptoms.
Reasonably big appartment, nice 2 rooms, + kitchen+ nice terrace. Old, out of date phone number, that did not reply.
comfortable and secure hotel nathing
Staff were helpful Quality of the bedding
We liked the staff who were very helpful, we liked the facilities of the room (dishwasher in kitchen), the setup up of the room - our children slept in the bedroom and we were in the lounge, but during the day we opened up the sliding doors so it felt very spacious. We also liked the location, it was clean and quiet, with shops nearby and a short walk to the metro.
distance to the office breakfast offering, speed of reception service, deny of corporate rate, no food / supermarket e.g. available
Hotel staff. Cleanliness of your room. Location. Promises that the hotel has possibility of Internet connection. Please forget about it! Of course, it is not the staff fault but ussually the meteor which is the WiFi provider. The same situation is in the Adagio Hotel near La Defence.
We were really impressed with the size of the room and all its amenities, lots of towels, fridge/freezer, microwave, even a dishwasher, TV, lots of pillows, big bathtub and separate toilet room, the breakfast was excellent and very pleasant staff and located on the outskirts of Paris but still close enough to get to town fairly fast...all in all, a very enjoyable experience. No complaints, but the parking lot was a little dark.
the locaiton aren't they have to clean the room everyday???because they didn't.
Nothing It had a damp smell, the beds were uncomfortable
Please write at least 15 words
Location and facilities of the hotel are good . Overall aprtmrents are clean and maintained in good condition What I did not like is attitude of the hotel staff , especially at the reception .Upon arrival , we were informed that they have very , very big problem and cannot give us the room we booked . Instead they offered to pay us taxi which to take us to another hotel in the city center . After we declined they told us our room is not ready and again proposed to go to another hotel this time in the area
Near to La Defense Shopping Center. Very good kitchen facility. Staffs are friendly. Room service is no done daily, but weekly.
I like the the location of the hotel. the hotel do not have a king size bed room.
It was a nice experience at this hotel. My self and my wife had a comfortably stay for eight nights, excellent location for work.Easy access to metro and suberbantrains. As a super market is at hand it is easy to purchase the daily requirements and even to cook some dishes at room.Great value for money.
I liked the fact that you could cater for yourself and ease of travel to the city centre
The room was new and very clean the day that I arrived. It looked like I was the first guest to use the room. The hotel neighborhood is very nice with plenty of open spaces. I was also satisfied with the hotel staff. The room is cleaned only once a week. I believe that this time should be reduced to a minimum of at every three days.
We went to the major Paris sights, including the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame, etc. Perfect location for getting to all of these as we only needed one or two metro lines to get there! The sofa bed collapsed on the second night.
nothing! The hotel was terrible!
The standard of the room was below my expectations. There was also a building site next to the hotel and work would start at 07.30am which was very noisy; it was impossible to hear the tv over the drilling and banging.
The location is perfect. Close to M station (3 min. walking), close to La Defence Shopping Mall. No Luggage Services or baggage boy is available. The Housekeeping services shall be at daily or each two days but defintly not once a week.
The direct phone line to the room For the price, everything about the hotel was substandard - I have stayed in places in La Defense for the same price that are far superior.
The bed was comfortable enough. The location is ok (10-15 min walk) for people working at La Défense. There were cooking odours, probably coming from another room. A ventilation of the air conditioning system worked all night, not creating cold but making an annoying noise. In the morning the toilets flush was not working anymore...
I appreciated the free WiFi that was available in my room. There was no trash container in the room. I used the plastic laundry bag for my trash.
for a few days a good adress to stay with family, direct at the metro station. it was possible to make (simply) meals in the appartement and it had 2 separate sleepingrooms with a lot of space in the nearby there are almost no bars or restaurants , or a friendly ambiance
rooms too small double bed in lounge area was difficult to separate out, as some holding clips were broken
free internet in rooms. sometimes water was barely warm :(
a big variety of breakfast , people are friendly, helps you out if you need help, fridge was closed with key ( you have to pay for minibar ) / Tv channels was very less.
Room, shuttle service was excellent, staff elevators frequently out of service
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. The shuttle bus from the hotel runs frequently (every 20 minutes) and was quick. The hotel itself was amazing for the price - exceptionally clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Orly.
Check in and check out was fast, the shuttle bus was on time. Don't have much to say since I stayed only for 5 hours. The shuttle bus was a bit ahead of time when we arrived in the airport and was waiting for a pick-up to the hotel, so we missed one and had to wait for another 20 minutes.
The hotel is excellent but not good for the tourists who wants to go to paris centre because it cost you big money and time to move to paris centre.
Very clean, friendly staff, all staff spoke very good english.
Just stayed in the Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, nice and comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle which takes 7 minutes to the terminal from 5 am to 11:30 pm. The hotel is in need of some remodeling, but overall nice. The staff were friendly. I stayed before at a different hotel in the area that received a much higher rating but liked the Best Western much better. It is mostly for business. The hotel can use some remodeling, the corridors feel dark with poor lighting.
near the airport with free shuttle service no porters and bell boys and front desk should tell guests that they must use room key for elevator use
Breakfast was delicious Be pulled to secure the value of the room and not taken it back only after two weeks means twice the amount
Shettle to the airport. Friendly staffs, hotel quiet, Room clean and large. The room was fairly cold when arriving, did not have time to check if the heating system was on or off, same thing with the bathroom.
proximity to airport.courteseous staff.
The comfort and facilities of the room.
Comfortable and spacious rooms, well equipped, good location, friendly staff The neighbourhood is deserted after 8pm, no restaturants, no food shops, although there is plenty of life 3 metro stations away.
location near the metro, business centre and shopping centre, it is aparthotel with a small equipped kitchen, the hotel staff is rather friendly the rooms are not done during the stay, the rubbish is not taken away, the choce of food for breakfast is reather poor
nothing every thing bad they give me one bed room not 2 bed room
A little hard to find due to the maze that is La Defense, however upon arriving I was greeted by friendly and efficient staff, and the room surpassed expectations, having stayed in an aparthotel in London. Overall, quiet, comfortable, very close to the Metro, and spacious.
The was the worst place i hve ever stayed - the shower was broken, the carpets were stained, no restaurant or breakfast facilities...simply awfull!
Kitchen facility was good. Iron was not there.
Good facilities for a business traveller who prefers home comforts like making tea ! Very clean and new, liked the separate bedroom. Especially appreciated the large amount of hanging/cupboard space and the well thought out bathroom - particularly the large shower with both overhead and handheld shower heads (not usual in French hotels ...). Rooms on the same floor as reception are a bit noisy in the evening. More English language TV choice please - La Defense is full of English speaking travellers.
Rooms were spacious, clean and warm. Good position for business in the commercial quarter of La Defense. The internet signals were too weak for use in the room. Had to sit outside the lift to get a signal.
The place is clean The price is very atractive It is easy to locate The AC was not working The door of the toilette does not close There is no room service
The rooms were small but clean. It was right off the freeway which was convenient and 15 - 20 min walk to metro. Groc, bakery nearby. Well worth the money
