Pros: Beautiful hotel, luckily was able to upgrade our very small room to a larger one which made a big difference. Nature walk with Rick was a definite highlight. Plan on going back in the summer.
Cons: Our initial room was claustrophobic.
Pros: Skytop Lodge is historic and filled with class. The grounds are beautiful, there are a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, the staff is courteous, and the overall operations of the establishment are smoothly run. The main lodge has a lot of history so don't expect a modern building with contemporary decor. That said, we found our standard room elegantly decorated, comfortable, very clean, and equipped with a spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We visited during the week at a relatively less crowded time I presume, and we really enjoyed having fewer guests around.
Cons: One front desk staff member seemed newer and not very knowledgeable with a few of our questions, but he tried to help and was courteous nonetheless. That's a minor point. Also, the front desk made a significant billing error upon my checkout...but quickly corrected it after I noticed and pointed it out. I didn't have a perfect experience with the staff, but they were friendly and willing to help which were overall positive points and outweighed the shortcomings for me.
Pros: Organized, clean, beautiful, many activities.
Cons: All restaurants were not open during stay. Host at Windsor restaurant was a bit rude when setting us and toward me when I asked him a question.
Pros: Beautiful setting.
Cons: The king bed was 2 twin mattress pushed together with a 2 inch height difference, making rolling in bed difficult. The place is highly overpriced for the overall stay. Very disappointed and will never return.
Pros: Tons to do and a beautiful setting. The lake could not be more beautiful and the activities will keep you busy from morning till night.
Cons: The decor is dated and the food is horrible.

Pros: The location was the best part of the experience. It was more like a campground then a hotel/resort.
Cons: The grounds were all overgrown. Looked as if weeds haven't been removed in years. The staff, all two of them, were hard to come by.
Cons: the room was little smelly and there were lot of cracks in the bathroom. Bathroom was not clean.
Pros: We had a spacious but lackluster room. It had a musky odor. The TV only got a couple channels. We didn't get the breakfast we paid for. The owner was uncooperative about our issues. She had her own website with very deceiving photos and descriptions on it
Cons: Just about everything. Will not stay there ever again
Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is peaceful and homey. Love the real wood burning fireplace and jacuzzi tub.
Cons: The heat didn't seem to work right but the fireplace more than made up for it.
Pros: Cottage was moldy smelling. The bed sheets appeared as if They had been slept on. The bed spread was dirty and had something stuck to it.
Pros: Nothing. It was close to where I wanted to be which is why I booked it.
Cons: I checked in to the hotel and then left because it was smelly and the place and staff were creepy and scared me and my son. There was no one at the desk when I arrived except a cockatoo. I called around for 5 minutes or so before anyone showed up.
Pros: It was conveniently located.
Cons: The door to the cabin and the bathroom windows were missing curtains, no privacy. The bed spread and carpet has seen better days. They looked dirty. The bath shower curtain was too small and it was only for decoration, water went out. No bathroom rugs.
