Pros:Great staff, switched me to another car per my request with no problem, much appreciated!

Cons:They led me to believe I was getting a free upgrade, increased my price by $300, and tacked on an extra $120 when I returned the vehicle "because of airport fees".
Cons:Charged nearly $150 dollars extra for $15 dollars on toll roads. Be careful, they are thieves
Pros:The car and the price were just fine.
Cons:I was going to be arriving early and I contacted the 800 number to move my arrival time up an hour with the customer service rep. When I actually went to the desk to pick up my car the manager there told me there were no cars and I would be pushed back to my original pick up time and she couldn't even guarantee I would get a car then. I had to wait an hour and a half. She said she had SUVs I could rent for $20 more a day, but that was the only option she gave me. She did not offer to send me to any of the sister companies. She was not friendly at all. When I asked why the phone rep moved me up she would not take responsbility for anything they told me on the phone. She said she didn't car what they said, she had no cars and there wasn't anything she could do about it. I waited the time and finally rec'd a car a half an hour after my original pick up time. I called the 800 number again to file a complaint about my experience who said someone would be in touch with me and I have not heard from them since. This woman could have at least been kind and help me resolve an uncomfortable problem.
Pros:Car was clean and was a hybrid, so gas mileage was great.
Cons:Pickup and drop off was terrible. Dollar was closed, so had to wait 45 minutes for Hertz (after lugging baggage from one counter to another), and when we finally got to the counter, was supposed to get a Buick Enclave, had the keys in her hand, and then the lady changed it to a Kia Nitro. While gas mileage was good, car was horrible to drive and small. Then their monitor went blank, so she charged my credit card twice. Still struggling to get them to let go of the original charge. Drop off was AWFUL. Had no idea which place I was supposed to drop off, Dollar or Hertz. I picked it up in the Dollar section, so went there. It was closed. Ran around trying to find the Hertz counter. Couldn’t find it. So parked in the Dollar return section, and went to the inside counter. Lady there was extremely rude, said she couldn’t help me. I had to return it to Hertz, and she wouldn’t tell me where there return counter was. So I had to run back out (literally because I was about to miss my plane) get the car and drive around till I found it, which was in a different area then all the other returns). This was enough to make me never want to rent a car through Dollar again.
Cons:There were no cars and we had to find a new rental car company when we got there.
Pros:Lovely lady at pick up
Pros:The employee was cordial although it would have been better to have 2 employees at the counter. He was covering both Thrifty and Dollar customers
Cons:The car I reserved was not available and it took at least 15 minutes at the desk for the rep to locate a comparable one after calling someone on his 2 way radio about 10 times and asking that person to see if they could get a car from Hertz. Once a car was found it took 30 minutes before it was brought to the pick up area. This was after 10:30 pm and I still had an hour and a half drive to my destination.
