Unhappy with Dollar Experience
Pros: The car and the price were just fine.
Cons: I was going to be arriving early and I contacted the 800 number to move my arrival time up an hour with the customer service rep. When I actually went to the desk to pick up my car the manager there told me there were no cars and I would be pushed back to my original pick up time and she couldn't even guarantee I would get a car then. I had to wait an hour and a half. She said she had SUVs I could rent for $20 more a day, but that was the only option she gave me. She did not offer to send me to any of the sister companies. She was not friendly at all. When I asked why the phone rep moved me up she would not take responsbility for anything they told me on the phone. She said she didn't car what they said, she had no cars and there wasn't anything she could do about it. I waited the time and finally rec'd a car a half an hour after my original pick up time. I called the 800 number again to file a complaint about my experience who said someone would be in touch with me and I have not heard from them since. This woman could have at least been kind and help me resolve an uncomfortable problem.

Pros: Excellent customer service at the counter.
Cons: The car.

No car to pick up- had to wait
Pros: All else went well- price was good. Car was good. Drop off was easy and friendly.
Cons: Car wasn't there when I arrived at the time of my reservation. Staff didn't seem to care and were generally unhelpful.

Cars were not available upon arrival!
Cons: 6-8 parties with reservations were lined up waiting for cars. While we waited, without any information about when cars would become available, other customers (preferred club?) received cars. When I got a car, after a 50 minute wait, it stank of sickly-sweet 'air freshener'. I had to open windows every time I got into the car.
