Pros:The staff were very friendly and we were upgraded to a bigger car for the same price.

Cons:This office is understaffed and not supported well by their national counterparts. I was up in Idaho on vacation andI ended up in the hospital. It was not an injury/illness that came about from vacationing. I could not return the car. They told me they do not have any staff that could come pick it up even tho I was willing to pay, I could not add on another driver to drop it off, and they offered no solution other than if I died, they could then do what they normally do in those circumstances. I had to drive it back to them to return their car, rather than fly back from where I fell ill so as to get back to the doctors and hospital who could help me. Never use this office, it should be shut down, and I will never use dollar/thrifty/ or hertz (their corporate owner) again!
Cons:The car was dirty and there was no attendant present.
Cons:New business rules at Dollar, that started after I booked my reservation well in advance, made it so I could not get the car. They now require any renter to have proof of a return flight home or use a credit card. I live local to that office & was renting to go on a business trip out of town, so no return ticket. I don't like to use credit cards so I don't have one. Representative told me to try another company. This was very frustrating as it was the day before my trip & was super busy for renting cars for the weekend. I don't think it was good practice to not send notice to those who had pending reservations of these new rules so I could have been prepared or changed my reservation before it was last minute. Had to pay more at another company who actually gave excellent customer service to work with my situation.
Pros:It was clean. It was easy to rent and pickup and drop off. The woman at the counter was very friendly.

Pros:Car was fine. Clean enough and comfortable for a small car. Good fuel efficiency. Actually fun to drive.
Cons:The car had an unpleasant odor. On the second day I noticed "steam" coming off the corner of the hood nearest the passenger seat. On opening the hood I found the oil cap was off, and oil had splashed around the engine compartment. Fortunately the cap was right by the hood release so I replaced it. Dollar
