They recently reminded and it was clean and big and nice. Nice shower and bathroom. We had the handicapped suite. Great Everything was great for the price
The room was clean. The road noise was pretty bad, the smell of the room was unusual, there was a homeless looking person wheeling a shopping cart through the parking lot in the early evening. I will never stay at a one star hotel again.
I thought this hotel was nice and very quiet. Staff was friendly and the hotel was well taken care of. They had a very nice flower garden down the whole front of the hotel. The only negative thing I can say is that the pool waas freezing.
My daughter and I checked into our room which was supposed to be a non-smoking room. It was not. The room had patches all over the walls where it looked like someone kicked and punched holes. The carpet was stained, frayed, and lumpy. The bed was pathetic and the dresser drawers wouldn't shut and they had graffiti on the inside of them. We told the lady that we could not stay there. So she gave us a key to a new room. It was better - or so I thought it would be. When I went to take a shower, I turned on the tub faucet and a CHUNK of tiny ants spurted out. This place is next to a nasty little liquor store where creeps hang out. It appears that some of the rooms are occupied by long-term renters who are scary.
I booked a room for one night for my family. This place is the scariest motel ever. It basically is used for long term stays by everyone there. They must keep one or two for nightly stays. I saw alot of activity going on here that was very scary to myself and my family. We were basically confined to our room because we were so frightened. I didn't even sleep the whole night because I thought something might happen. So please please please if you have a family DO NOT stay here.
The ceilings are a special artistic treat! Simply amazing It's not in an area you wanna stay but it's close to where you wanna go!
Friendly Staff. Very hospitable. No coffee pot in the room and tried to order food to be delivered with absolutely no luck.
Location and breakfast. rooms clean and very well maintained
The ambiance of the room/place is not good. My 6-year old son said the place is creepy. I didn't like our room,1st day my son and i couldn't sleep because of the 2 mystery doors. My husband called the office and asked what are those two creepy doors. They said the 1st door is an old kitchen and 2nd one is a connecting door to the other room. The bedsheets were pretty dirty,my husband asked them to change it but they didnt. They just fixed it. Good thing i am not scared of spiders. In the bathroom you will see some. No microwave. I am sorry for the bad review. What i like is that the motel is near the airport and free parking.
I loved the room overall. It felt like a studio apartment. Gave me a home feel and not like I'm in a hote room. Staff was extra friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn't really like was the parking situation.
The location was a bit sketchy but right down the street from Cowboy Country Saloon. The rooms at every Motel 6 always have updated, modern furniture. The staff cancelled my reservation after I stopped by to check in early but wasn't allowed. I didn't mind not being able to check in early but don't cancel my reservation after you aren't able to get ahold of me because I'm at a concert and can't hear my phone. Then, their solution was to give me a smoking room that wreaked so bad it felt like someone was still smoking in the room. Had I not been drunk, I would have cancelled and left. Instead, I just put up with the stench to avoid a DUI. I was also peeved that there wasn't a public restroom in the lobby. I was told I could walk next door to use the one at McDonald's. Seriously? Okay, I guess I'll give McDonald's five stars.
Staff was great and very helpful with getting me into my room. You have all the essentials in your room. The area is a very sketchy part of Los Angeles area. I wish I would have done more research in where I was staying
-Very good value for an LA motel -Staff very responsive and kind -Gated + security cameras on-site -facilities (bed, fridge, shower, drawers) adequate -Room was way too hot, poor ventilation. -Loud noises during the night, including 1 night of a couple arguing + 1 night of loud gunshot noises -Local area very poor, many shops are protected by metal bars; hotel booth protected by bullet-proof glass
This is by no means the Ritz, but if you are looking for a clean room and a comfortable bed, this hotel has what you need. It's literally around the corner from a coffee shop, jack-in-the-box and a convenience store. Parking is a little cramped.
dirty linens, uncleaned bathroom, missing toilet roll to name a few. I had previously stayed in Tahoe and assumed this one in LA should be comparable but this is huge contrast!
