7.1 Good
Pros: Good location with large but uninteresting accommodations.
Cons: Dissatisfied with housekeeping. Didn't get to our room until after 5;00 pm. Slipshod job - took but did not replace coffee cups. Did not replace coffee pods despite requests. For this price point expected better.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Room quality. Nicer than most apartments. Front desk staff was very helpful, and the fact that they throw in breakfast and dinner really helps out a lot. This is WAY better than anything in the area that I researched. Room had a nice TV, with accessible USB ports (not those hotels that block them so you can't plug anything else in). Nice kitchen area had utensils, microwave, huge refrigerator, and a sink. Bed was king size and plenty of pillows. Bathroom was clean, linens were clean, and the wifi worked well enough to stream firestick, etc. Also like that I only had to enter the password ONCE, and not every DAY, like a lot of other hotels. The chef at dinner time was very nice, and wanted to know how I enjoyed the food every night - soliciting feedback, etc. Both meals provided, while not 5 star food were very good and plentiful. Compared to what you get when you pay FAR more in Vegas or NYC, this place was a good value. Parking was also not an issue.
Cons: I found some of the staff during the meals and roaming the hallways to be a bit terse. I know New Yorkers are different but I expected a lighter demeanor for someone in the hospitality industry. There were several instances where I had to track someone down in the dining area to bus the table from the people who had eaten there before me, or to simply ask for a diet soda to drink. There is plenty of coffee and tea, but no other drinks unless you ask for them. Reminding a customer that they COULD be charged for a soda seems a little ridiculous when the food, fruit, and cookies, are unlimited. My room bordered a courtyard, per my request - however I didn't know it would be outside the two meeting rooms. There were times where it got a bit noisy, but didn't really impact me too much. I'm not going to complain about the layout, but if you go there expecting total silence you should ask for a room away from such a place. There was an ant in the bed the first night, and a beetle in the bathroom the second night.... in April. I know I didn't bring them, but what can you do? It wasn't an infestation. I would still stay at this place before going anywhere else in the area.

6.5 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable and hotel was in a good area. They had a lot of good facilities although we did not use them.
Cons: Front staff on a Saturday night were not real friendly and purposefully short when asked about snacks that were for sale near front desk. Bed should have had a mattress pad that fully enclosed the mattress but it only layed on top. Also down comforter was not in coverlet just a thin bedspread on top. Would think both should be enclosed with bedbug proof coverings in Long Island.
6.5 Good
Pros: It was very nice that you had a bar and restaurant in the lobby, and offered a small little convenience store.
Cons: The location of the TV in the room. I like to be able to watch TV in bed before I go to sleep.

6.8 Good
Pros: Clean hotel Friendly employees Nice amenities (pool/jacuzzi) Comfortable rooms
Cons: I purchased my stay through a third party listed on kayak.com for a great price but was charged double the amount at checkout. It was a mistake made on the hotels part and I was told the price would be adjusted but it was still irritating. I had to spend wasted time at the front desk while they figured the situation out. Staff was friendly about but the issue but it was not an ideal situation. Also, what if I had not caught this error? I would be out an extra $150.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy to accessible
Cons: Breakfast
6.5 Good
Pros: It was convenient for my needs.
Cons: The sheets, towels and blankets felt like sandpaper. It was fine for what I needed it for, but that was it.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hot tub was out of order and the pool was very cold. These were the primary reasons for staying as my young children were really looking forward to swimming without freezing and therefore catching a cold.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite even though situated literally on an airport. Staff very friendly. Breakfast could be a little better but who am I to complain. It's free.
Cons: Only issue is that it seems people staying there can't cook. Fire alarm tends to be set off at random hours. Not the hotels fault
1.0 Poor
Cons: The toilet was clogged Waited 3 hours to get it fixed
7.0 Good
Pros: Location and free breakfast.
Cons: We had to ask for a sheet, blanket & pillow for the pullout sofa bed. There were no extras of anything of that sort in the room. The toilet ran most of the night and the flusher was broken. The TV didn't turn on in the morning. They offered no adjustment.

Cons: next morning housekeeping was very loud and early was maybe 8:00am
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is a kitchen with a stove top and full size fridge. Also, there is a very spacious closet that connects to bathroom.
Cons: The only downside is that they hold $140.00 for incidentals, which is a little pricey since it is a 2.5 star hotel, but it is worth it.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Loved the pool, the rooms and the restaurant's private booths with flatscreen tvs.
Cons: Waitstaff seemed a bit disorganized.
5.1 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable and I liked the overall floorplan. They made it so that the main corridor feels like you're outside, but its all closed in, which I can see being nice durning the winter.
Cons: I was a little disappointed in a few things. There was no complimentary coffee. The breakfast was good but overpriced. The restaurant staff in the evening was slow and unattentative. Lastly, there was no free wifi in the rooms.
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel had a nice fitness center, and room service food was great.
Cons: Upon registration i had asked for two double beds since there were 4 of us, not couples. We got instead and found a King size bed and a pull out couch. Very disappointing! My option was to cancel the reservation. Even though I was told the day before that a room with a two double beds was reserved for us.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Rooms were clean.
Cons: We booked reservations 6 months ago for four and had requested two King sized beds. When we arrived they gave us a room with one bed and offered a cot but said two cots were a fire hazard so couldn't do it. We were given two blow up mattresses which held air only for an hour or so. My kids spent the whole night re-inflating their beds every 90 minutes. Our requests for new mattresses that didn't leak for the second night fell on deaf ears. $500 for two nights and I have to pay $20 for WiFi? Really?

6.5 Good
Cons: The address is misleading- the hotel is not technically on Oak street- it's directly on Jericho TPK and extremely loud ( we were there during construction in middle of night ) . If you stay at the back of the hotel to avoid this you deal with an industrial area with dumpsters and trash trucks in the middle of the night. Zero sleep.

5.1 Okay
Pros: Price was low. Staff was friendly. Bar and restaurant on site.
Cons: No restaurants in immediate vicinity. Shower pressure very poor and hot water doesn't last long. Chairs in room aren't super comfortable. Rooms don't have a window outside. You have a window t the hallway that others can walk by. There are windows in the hallway.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: - The entrance is 'grand' and welcoming with updated fixtures and furniture -bar was very nice looking -pool was a nice size - bedrooms were very updated and inviting -shower and tiles all new and 'clean' -lobby bathrooms very clean -staff VERY accomodating and pleasant!
Cons: -Bar doesn't open until 5, had to order food from the 'outside' -the lower level (single digit rooms) aren't very sound proof. I was up all night with doors slamming and hearing various conversations from down the hall. I wonder if staying on the main level would have been less noisy
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Unfortunately I would not know where to start. They say pictures are worth 1000 words and perhaps I should send some pictures. From dried blood, black mold, insects and stained headboards I would never recommend anyone stay here. The staff at the front counter was not only inconsiderate but claimed that I should have purchased "incidentals". Apparently at this hotel "incidentals" are defined as clean rooms. Needless to say my three business partners felt the same way and experienced more or less the same service and type of room. I can assure you as a company we will never stay at any Holiday Inn.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good and it lasted until 11 am on a Sunday
8.2 Excellent
Pros: comfy bed, yummy breakfast, and nice ginko tres
Cons: our heater stopped working in the middle of the night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is not much to dislike about this place. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the customer service was outstanding! Once I got to my room, the front desk called the room and offered additional assistance if needed. And later when I wanted to find a nice restaurant in the area, they were very helpful with suggestions and even gave me a menu along with drink discount cards. Free breakfast was included with my stay and the food selections were great! They have a variety of options to choose from and selections that other hotels don't offer, such as hot oatmeal and yogurt. There were plenty of beverage options and the orange juice was fresh. This hotel also offers free hot soup in the evening, which is a unique touch! Great customer service really makes a big difference and I will choose this hotel over the others when I come back into town. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Cons: One minor complaint is that I wish my bed was more comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Facilities, complimentary food/beverage and staff surprisingly good for the price we paid, which was quite reasonable. Water pressure in shower was awesome. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: Lousy tv choices, hearing/cooling unit didn't function well
4.5 Okay
Pros: nothing
Cons: Although we had a confirmed reservation, the hotel didn't provide us a room due to overbooking. That was very disappointing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: motel was very clean taken care of.It was great.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast and breakfast staff were great!
Cons: I told the man at the desk about our hot room and noise. Told him we wanted a different room for the next night. He wrote a not and said someone was coming in at 8:00 and he would let them know. We Left to go to the city. When we returned I went to the office to get new room. The girl knew nothing about my problem and they were sold out of rooms. The next night was better!
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: The maintance and breakfast staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and professional.
Cons: Where do I begin: when we arrived they sent us to a room that had not been cleaned. When we went back and got a second room it had a clogged sink. When we let the front desk know they said that was the only king room they had left and we were (at this point) nearly late for the wedding we were traveling to attend so we just dealt with it. The room also smelled musty. Though the front desk staff was very apologetic they weren’t able to offer us a clean and functioning room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was super comfortable. The rooms were clean.
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff was nice and was very helpful. They upgraded our room when they accidentally locked us out of our room.
Cons: The food wasn't so great, the "gym" they had was two treadmills, a bike, and an old stair machine.

Pros: Enjoyed our stay! Will go again .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very clean, simple, and comfortable. Had all necessary amenities and then some. This will definitely be my go to, Long Island hotel.
6.0 Good
Pros: Set up of room comfortable: desk, armchair, flat screen tv, good-sized bath. set off main road so traffic noise was not an issue. thin walls though and some enthusiastic bedmates next door. bed was a bit sunken and could feel springs. Wi-Fi did not work during my 1-night stay, bathroom fan did not work, room looked clean overall but I certainly wouldn't walk on the carpet barefoot. told them all this at front desk so they'd try to improve these things. but overall, for the $78 I paid, you can do A LOT WORSE in Long Island! I'd stay again for that price while there on business. did not try the breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was convenient to the places we needed to go and the price was good.
Cons: The breakfast was "McDonalds"-ish and no microwave in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Nice flat screen TV, coffee machine ...and room very clean. The heat was set up and running and that was very nice BC it was very cold. Bathroom was very clean. And nice closet to place all your coat and any luggage. Not noisy.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is close to major roadways. Rooms are clean and breakfast was included with good selection to eat. The place can use a little bit of updating. The hotels exterior is dark and the rooms are right off the road. It felt like anyone can come up to your room door. While the surrounding area and neighborhood is quite and safe, they need to make the guest feel secure
6.8 Good
Pros: So I booked on a third party site. When I got to the hotel, I was told to run my cat again. I asked if I would be charged and was told no. I was stupid to believe them. I was double charged. I called and they said I wasn't. I thougt that was funny considering I was looking right at my bank statement. Then I got the "unfortuantly" bit and they told me it will fall off in a few days. So, to be fair, they didn't get that Money, But I didn't have access to my money either. Don't let them run your card if you want to be out you money for a few days.
Cons: The fact they have no clue how credit cards work.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Room was clean. Breakfast was basic but free. Staff was helpful.
Cons: Lobby smelled like senior home cafeteria. First room they gave me smelled like smoke. Outdoor pool was freezing cold (they have no heating system) so only can use in summer. Location is directly on highway.

Pros: I want to thank the staff for keeping my son's ice packs cold for him to use after playing baseball.
Cons: I had booked a room, king size bed and no smoking for my son and I and after driving 5 hours after a full days work and we arrived at night. I was given a room with double beds which was no big deal but a "smoking" room and was told they were booked so we had to stay there. It stunk so bad, we couldn't sleep even after spraying a whole bottle of perfume, everything smelled like a cigarette the beds, towels, and it was warm so when you turned the AC on it made it worse. We left the window open for an hour and that didn't help. Plus the pillows are hard as rocks. So we didn't sleep at all and after taking a shower I felt like I still smelled like a cigarette. I was very upset for having to pay for the room and I was worried for my son because he had to take an allergy pill and needed rest because he did a showcase for baseball and scouts were looking at him. Also after not sleeping we had to drive 5 hours back home. Extremely disappointed with the situation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I am a mother travelling with two 20 something sons to Massapequa for a family wedding. Our planned three night stay turned into two nights due to a snow related flight cancellation. The hotel graciously accommodated us. We arrived 9:30 PM, check-in went smoothly. We had a room with two queen beds. The room was immaculate. We were impressed with the comfort of the beds, temperature of the room, and the bathroom was very nice with a tub shower. There was ample closet space. There was a flat screen TV we never had a chance to turn on. The morning breakfast bar was very nice. I recommend the waffles. I've read some of the previous reviews, some scared me. I would stay there again and I have already recommended it to others.
Cons: We have no negative feedback.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, the staff helpful and accommodating. The bathroom has excellent lighting, design, and features. The bed is comfortable, and there's a desk.
Cons: Outlet to plug in a charger is only on one side of bed.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: I liked nothing of this place, parking is tight and your sure to get a dung on your car by the drunk idiots coming and going from the other rooms at 2-3 am....noisy too.
Cons: I didn't like the rudeness of the staff; first off I booked a week in advance ,a non smoking king room with a sitting area and a couch, just like what I saw in the pictures online , when I got there, they said they only had a smoking king room , I was pissed, in other words they didn't hold my room, and they gave me no break or discount. the room was a real smelly nasty small room on the first floor. it was 1 small room , with a bathroom. the rug, the curtains, the décor and furniture is all old. the smell alone was disturbing. obviously a great place to hangout and party and drink, it couldn't be more obvious that they cater to who ever will pay a ridiculous price for a dive of a room. don't let the outside of the building fool you, they put no money into renovating or updating the interior.go to Marriott Courtyard or Town Place suites 10 mins away up 10 in Farmingdale.its new, same price and clean , with a kitchen . seriously, $160 + tax per night for this dump, that will never happen again.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Needed ear plugs to sleep. Loud middle of night as we were next to office. One night police outside our room responding to an alleged assault at midnight. Scary. No shots fired thank God.

Pros: Location is the only thing which I liked. In future I will NOT stay in this hotel.
Cons: Poor customer service. No room service after 10:30PM. Checking with one of the hotel manager about food availability, she gave me a wrong number and I woke up some poor guy asking for Pizza at 11 PM. Rooms are not luxury rooms but mediocre room with bathrooms that need renovation. Toilet flush was not working properly and you need to flush three times. Don't be fooled by thinking this is a luxury hotel.
5.1 Okay
Pros: The Mansion itself is beautiful. Very stately and makes for a nice first impression. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: A day before I arrived I asked for a refrigerator to be delivered in my room and they said it would be waiting for me when I arrive. When I was checking in I again asked if they had seen the request for a fridge. The lady told me yes and it should be in the room. When I got to the room it wasn’t. So I tried to call the front desk, and the phone didn’t work. So I tried another phone in the room which finally after messing with it for a few times caleldnthe front desk. I got a fridge within the next 20mins. The room itself was not at all reflecting of the ambiance of the hotel when you first check in. I realize the guest rooms aren’t actually in the mansion itself. This didn’t really bother me. But what did bother me is the fact that the hotel is advertised at 4 stars. This was 2.5 at best. Felt more like an aged holiday inn. The room appeared to be clean but the head board had gashes in it. The doors had chipped paint. The shower had an overhead dome light that was full of dead bugs. It was absolutely not 4 star room. I wouldn’t recommend staying here for the price. Stay at a newer holiday inn or Hyatt for the same price. They’ll be cleaner and more modern.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Not much the location and how the building looked from the outside as well as the fake pictures of the inside lured me in.
Cons: The building was old and jaded the staff were nice but not that professional as one might expect at a hotel. The night staffs were especially rude. The bar was filthy upstairs I got sick twice after drinking there. The bar tender didn't even have a top on the martini shaker he was using a napkin on top of the shaker so unhygienic. The carpets were dirty in the bedroom, my chair was dirty. All the rooms need to be gutted and start over. I had a friend come to visit me during my stay she couldn't believe what dump the place was compared how it's portrayed online. I was miserable during my stay and so happy to leave that Hotel. I would never stay there again ever.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, nice bathroom.
Cons: Very long walk to room, with 2 short staircases; a real pain when carrying suitcases. Hallways a bit shabby, although repainting in process.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet is good. Hotel is in process of refurbishing rooms and hallways as part of its rebranding as The Mansion.
Cons: The distances between the rooms and the parking lots is very long, especially in bad weather. No covered or valet parking. Room doors slam when not closed carefully. No frequent guest or airline rewards benefits.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Loved the history, the full range of facilities (in door and outdoor pool, racquetball court, pool table - just to name a few), the friendly and helpful staff, and most especially the exquisite and quiet setting. It was a lovely, memorable Gold Coast experience.
7.4 Good
Pros: Convenient to Webb Institute. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Cons: Parking is free but it is remote. Rooms need more outlets. Indoor swimming pool needs to be refinished.
