Clean facility with good amenities. Super staff. Attentive and efficient. Rooms are large and equipped with everything you need to include sundries. Location on the 50 makes for some noise in the rooms that face the highway, but it's reasonable.
The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was rude. The greeting person at the door didn't even greet us. The staff was awkward and made us feel uncomfortable.
Yes and thanks for good service
Clean, decent sized rooms, comfortable beds and pillows A bit dated, but not a big deal.
Extensive breakfast bar and pool/ hot tub area!
Our check-in was quick & easy. The lobby and our room was clean. The hotel is in a good central location in Roseville. The rooms are old and the exterior shabby. The property is aged.
Cheap Thin walls. Huge pillows
it smelled like an old hotel
Everthing was good. Nothing Nothing was wrong.
Spacious rooms Printer in business center didn't work.
The thing we liked best was the full breakfast buffet. There was plenty of food to choose from and we left the hotel with full stomachs. It all tasted delicious as well!
The location is close to family, shopping. Beware the hotel is under construction. Also I was upset that although we stayed multiple nights, maid service consisted of handing a clean set of towels through the door in the morning PEROID. I have stayed at this hotel six times in as many months to see my son at college but after this last trip there will not be a seventh. I was very disappointed. Don't make my mistake.
Staff was very accomedating and room was clean and spacious. Perfect for a business or leisure trip!
Conveniently located, clean room, nice staff & great amenities. Breakfast hours were not long enough.
It was a nice, clean place and good value for the price.very. Nice outdoor features. Everything was fine.
Had some family nearby so stayed the night after a long day on the road. Was pleasantly surprised by the staff at the front desk and the size and cleanliness of the room. 1 king with a small fridge and a couch. My only real gripe was the room was split so that the furniture (bed/couch) was on opposite ends and the tv right in the middle, which was weird. A swivel mount made the tv rotatable, but still a weird setup.
It has a nice location. Right across the street from a large shipping center with many food options and a WholeFoods. The beds are a bit rough, and they only provide 4 small pillows for king sized beds. If you come with a partner that is only 2 small pillows each.
Best pillows and mattress I ever slept on. Great restaurants really close. Excellent freeway access. Nice gym and indoor pool and jacuzzi. Good breakfast. Guy next door snored like a buzzsaw.
The staff were very accommodating in helping us get settled, giving us a free upgrade during a quiet weekend, they did their best to not only help us with odd requests and extra keys, but they also tried to remember us every time we came to the front desk. Small touches like afternoon snacks in the lobby and not rushing us out of breakfast in the morning helped make our stay, too. Some of the locks to the pool and weight room acted up at times and wouldn't work, even though the keys worked the room door just fine. Housekeeping staff were friendly but not talkative.
Clean rooms, great breakfast. Great price. Like pool/spa.
The people there were really nice and the cleaning people took great care of our room while we were there. Free breakfast every AM and it was good food. Quiet area. Comfy beds. Decent workout room. Indoor pool but would have preferred outdoor for the time we were there. No hotel bar or restaurant but plenty available around the area.
As we walked in the front door, Sean said welcome home. What a nice welcome. He made us feel like old friends and very welcome. Our room was ready and just what we asked for. The facility is very nice and quiet. We will be back.
It is worth what you pay and more. I would definitely stay if I have to go back to Folsom again! Everything was pretty good.
Great business hotel. I need a kitchen suite when I travel and this one is perfect. Small scale, homey, decent continental breakfast with offerings other than carbs. Not the newest decor, but clean and the beds are very comfortable. I love that I can stay on the second or third floor and can open my window! Also, quiet enough that I can sleep with it open at night. Great location. Staff is great. I asked that they hold on to a laptop for a couple of days when I checked out until one of my co-workers checked in and they did it no problem! I always stay here when I'm in town for business. Fitness room is so-so, but much the same as many other hotels. Wish the fireplace in the common room was lit more often.
Staff Horrible, very loud, noisy, elevator all night and day. Boo!
Got a great price from kayak for 1 night stay($85). Wasn't expecting much, but the place was great. Clean, modern, with a great kitchen in the unit. Staff was friendly and quick. Breakfast was ready for our early departure to Tahoe. Nothing. The place was great.
This hotel has it all. Spacious rooms, great places to eat nearby, friendly staff, and to top it all off their prices are great. I stayed during valentines day weekend and this place was top notch. It is quiet and the king size room was extremely comfy. Plus you can't beat a free breakfast. The only thing negative I have to say is that the fridge didn't work but for me it was alright because I wasn't there long enough to need it.
My husband and I had to wait for escrow to close on a house we purchased. We had sold our house so we had nowhere to go. We checked into Larkspur Landing and what a nice surprise. I especially liked the kitchenette and free laundry. It meet all our needs. The TV would occasionally black out. We would have to unplug it and then plug it back in to make it work again.
Comfort was built in
Too jammed with people in breakfast area, given accessible room when I don't need it.
I've stayed at two other larkspur hotels . Love them What I didn't like was I am a light sleeper so I make this a point when I go to speak up off the bat . This last time I was put on the same floor as a wedding party they were the worst .. Up all night arguing and fighting slamming doors . The staff has always been courteous . I didn't complain I was too exhausted , but I know they would have taken care of me .
Perfect location next to historic Folsom. We rented bicycles and rode the trail along the river.
Location is great. A bit pricey with no breakfast included.
Just a decent Inn near Old Folsom. I wish there were later room service options, & that the diner/bar were a little more 'updated'. Also, it'd be nice if there were some lounge areas to sit & enjoy.
Connivance was the main reason for staying . Room service for Breakfast was on time and hot . Thank you for a pleasant stay . returning soon . My only remark to improve would be to put more lights in parking lot , very dark . I felt safe but , more lights would be a deterrent to the criminal natured and my safety .
Convenience, cleanliness, responsive staff, good breakfast. Bed was a little soft for my personal tastes but was otherwise comfortable.
The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Seemed like the hotel was in the middle of some sort of construction. Hallways were tapped off and the elevator was covered in some sort of blanket that really smelled. The look of the place is kind of strange, like a Starbucks but with a lot of blue paint. Looks odd to us.
My family and I stayed for 1 night and it was very enjoyable. We enjoyed being able to have breakfast at the hotel in the morning. The breakfast they offered was great, that's was a big selling point in choosing this hotel. The weekend we visited it was quite warm out but our room was nice and cool. Overall our we enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff took quite a while to acknowledge that we were standing right in front of them. I work in customer service and I understand u can't instantly help everyone but be considerate and make sure you acknowledge the customer and let them know you will be assisiting them as soon as possible.
comfortable beds, spacious room, clean facility. Breakfast was good, decent number of choices including hot foods (eggs, potatoes). Staff was willing to split the room costs between two of us, which was convenient. Lighting in bathroom room was dim. Very little light in sink/mirror area, not quite enough for applying makeup/etc. No USB outlets in room to charge phones. Most hotels have these on the alarm clock or the lamps, this room had none at all.
It was dirty the walls the bathtub soap scum mildew hair in sink edge's around room carpet bedded vacuum. Their were someone's dirty under ware and a condom wraper not to mention food at head of bed. Wont be going back here again
Price! Not so clean, and definitely not friendly front desk clerk.
No water pressure
When i had the light on it kept dimming down without even being touches. I let it be and thought it would go away in the morning. When i turned on the light in the morning once again the lights were not working properly.
It was cheap and conveniently located It took about two hours to get checked in. The poor girl at the desk was all alone. No manager on site. The wait line was long and the phones were ringing constantly. Even people asking for towels were asked to wait untill she had time. The one coffee machine they have was broken. The toilet was dirty. The sink in the bathroom was about to fall off the wall. The shower had no water pressure and the head was about a foot too low to do much good. I couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work but didn't feel like bothering the girl again for help she had enough going on
Staff was nice Horrible parking situation, poorly maintained, stained bedding, poor housekeeping,
Nice beds. Ac was wonderful. Tv was great. Didnt have any bad issues. Shower wasnt cleaned very well.
Free WiFi and cable They had too many bugs
Close to freeway Mold in tub. Car break ins, in the parking lot in middle of the day.
My brother had to race and it served its function: we tested. Lots of restaurants close by to choose from. A Starbucks literally next door. The bathroom needs some upgrades. The handle to the close to close the sliding bathroom was broken on the inside, the paint on the sliding door was scraped off. The toilet seat was really off. The bathroom really needs an upgrade.
Smoking rooms?! Idk Rude night manager, wouldn't give me the price advertised on their site, so I booked it on my phone. He couldn't find me in their system after booking and giving him the confirmation/reserve number. Refused to call their online booking department. I called, spoke with a representative and confirmed my reservation went through. The rep told me to have him call them. The guy STILL refused to call them. I called back (waited on hold yet again) the rep was kind enough to call the lobby. The next 15 min consisted of the employee arguing that he knows how to check for online reservations. After reluctantly doing the steps the phone rep suggested he was able to see my info......
Location No water pressure in shower
A very nice place, given the price. A little on the 'older' side, but decent. Especially compared to the much higher priced Howard Johnson next door. For where I was going those two days, it was a great choice overall (location, value, basics, access to Denny's and other quick food in parking lot or a very short distance away). The air conditioning in room was older box unit type under window; inconvenient for controls, hard to maintain good temp, a little noisy. "Neighbors" were easily heard - and often. Requested king bed on reservation, wound up with two (unneeded) double beds (made room even smaller). Minor issues, overall.
Very comfortable to stay at Mini fridge stoped working sometime while I was out with my friends and didn't realize it till the am
the price of the room was very good No wash cloths, no hand towels, no glasses, not even plastic glasses,no coffee cups even though there was coffee and a coffee pot in the room. Pool out of order and never told about it when we booked. This would have been a good value room , but management is lacking in quality control. No apology was given at any time when we requested the missing items. One of the staff even said they were out of towels because they were in the wash!
Bugs all over the bed. dirty blankets.
Nothing at all didn't like the place. This place was dirty, smelled of cigarettes in all room and all halls and floors, dirty walls floors mold in bathroom by sink, trash in pool and by pool side, beer bottles by pool side as well as lots of cigarettes, trash in parking lot, manager would not check us out the day we checked in. He wouldn't give us our money back. We never stayed the night there due to how dirty it was had to stay in another hotel and this place still charged my card for a hotel stay that we never stayed at. Still have not got my money back. We'll never stay agin not refer anyone. Just look at the neg reviews they r ture.
Service was bad, brwakfast poor, rooms awful
Great value for the money. So many places to eat within walking distance. Major grocery store across the street.
Nothing. Place was horrible Everything. This is a hotel for the homeless.
Nothing Dirty, loud, thin walks, bugs. I would not recommend it to anyone
Excellent value Smell of dog
I liked the location being close to Interstate 80 and restaurants within walking distance. I have no complaints.
The friendly staff and great breakfast.
Location was fine. Staff incompetent with no follow through. 1. Staff lost my reservation. I initially did not have a room. The front desk had no record of me or my reservation. 2. The desk clerk offered to reserve a specific room for me to make up for their error (see above). When checked in no room had been assigned to me.
staff was attentive
efficient check-in / available parking/ spacious room/ includes a simple breakfast/ convenient for travel into Roseville & Sacremento/ restaurants/ garage within walking distance/ good value for money.
Conveniently located. Pool was a good size for young kids. Breakfast: freshly made waffles were awesome. Beds were comfortable. Free Internet access in the rooms.
They feed you like kings. The staff are all very friendly and they have great rates. The walls are well insulated because we all slept well; not normally easy for me. I feel comfortable have my family stay here and I'm pretty picky. The maids could pay better attention to detail but other than that, we were quite pleased.
Room dirty , no pillow cases , no towes ,front desks rude
Staff was nice. . . .... but they lost my reservation, then told me I needed to rebook my room and then told me they found it. They then proceeded to give me a key with 215written on the envelope. Turns out we were supposed to be in room 115. Once we got in the room, the too had a seriously bad odor, the air conditioning didn't work, walls and carpet were filthy, bathroom door was difficult to shut as if the door was slightly too large. I've stayed at nice best westerns before but this is a dump compared to any hotel I've ever stayed at.
The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. Something along the lines of what one would expect at a high end luxary resort.
Room was large and comfortable, plenty of closet space, refrigerator and microwave. Continental breakfast was good, parking good. Shower and bath needed grab bars for safety.
Staff person at front desk (Maria?) was friendly and competent. She was multi-tasking and doing the job of more than one person. Room was ok, but priced a bit on the high side because it was busy for a weeknight.
Cheap room, very clean, staff was extremely friendly! Would definitely recomend and stay at again.
Variety of snacks available for purchase 24 hours. Convenient location. Friendly staff. No continental breakfast.
Friendly staff at check in. Clean, quiet room.
The staff always greeted us coming & going. Also gay us offsite dining suggestions N/ap
The room was very clean and comfortable. Even though we were right by the elevator, it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet had everything from eggs to pancakes to fruit and cereal. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this hotel!
Love the location and the room sizes were great!
The staff was very friendly and helpful within the limitations of what they had to work with. The bed was very comfortable. I felt safe there and I was traveling alone, so feeling safe was a high priority. The pool and hot tub were nice. I could have overlooked some of the things I didn't like if it weren't for one thing. That was, two days before it was time for me to check out, the light in my bathroom burned out. There is one light in the bathroom, the shower is in there and the door won't stay open. So bathroom activities had to be completed in the dark! The morning after it burned out I went down to the desk and asked them to fix it. I then went to my conference. They wrote down my room number and said they would have maintenance take care of it. When I arrived home early evening, it was still burned out. I called down to the desk and asked what happened and could they please take care of it? They said that maintenance was gone for the day. Long story short- I spent the rest of my stay in the dark in the bathroom. To me it was absolutely ridiculous that they couldn't change the light bulb! The breakfast was ho-hum and there were no gluten free offering.
The person at the front desk was very nice and kind. Also... answer all my questions. The pool wasn't open for my kids. That's one reason I decided to choose La Quinta with a reasonable hotel price.
After a seven hour drive I arrived and was told that the room I reserved was unavailable and that the only room left was a smoking room. This is not acceptable. I was told by the woman at the front desk that I should have put a note on my reservation that I wanted a non smoking room. I reserved a non smoking room! I had no choice but to accept a room with a sofa bed. Upon exiting the elevator I was greeted with a cloud of cigarette smoke. I saw no smoking signs on all the doors. Once inside the room I opened the refrigerator to put my water inside and it was WARM. The unit was plugged in and turned on high. The room smelled like smoke. The bathroom had hair in the tub. I can only assume that the positive reviews are fake. AV The sofa bed was a flat wire mattress that nobody could sleep on so I slept on the floor. AVOID unless you're a heavy smoker who doesn't like cleanliness or a good nights sleep.
The free breakfast, mini-fridge, and microwave in the room helped save money on the working trip. The staff was friendly, especially at breakfast. The public carpets needed vacuuming. The mattress was old and needed to be replaced.
The price was very reasonable. The fact it allows pets was great. Nice new TV. Small breakfast included.
When we arrived there was a mix up with the rooms and our kids were going to have to stay across the hall, spliting up the family. They found a way to get our rooms adjoining and it made the trip perfect for our whole family. There were small cosmetic issues but the staff more than made up for them.
Large cockroach in bathroom, poorly maintained accessible shower ( replacement shower head couldn't be used without holding in hand). Toilet ran all night.
The unit included a kitchenette, full size sofa, small dining table, flat screen TV, free internet. It was modern and clean.
The location felt cozy The breakfast was mediocre. Coffe tasted acidic, orange juice was watered down limited selection
Clean and comfortable AC set up strange. Wall thermometer didn't control unit
Facilities were run down. Many people were wondering the hall late at night, not allowing sleep.
Everything was clean and in good shape. The breakfast was good. The water in the shower did not get hot. We did not report it since we had to be out for business by 7 a.m. and so did not have time.
It was Close to the Toyota Amphitheatre and they offered shuttle to the concert. The room was nice and clean. The front desk people were extremely nice and helpful. Nothing, my stay was nice and will definitely stay there again if I go to any concerts at the Toyota Amphitheatre. I've stayed here twice already and both times I have had a nice experience here.
Front desk staff. Never said a word when you past the front desk, Not welcoming at all. Free breakfast needs huge upgrade and was done at 9:30 before we even woke up. We had to beg to get a couple things at 9:45.
loved how spacious the room was, and updated décor. the room had a coffee maker but not enough creamer packs, also thought there would be a mini fridge and microwave in room. there wasn't.
Very clean and modern My only issue was the A/C kept going off in the middle of the night which woke me up 3 times. Very frustrating!
Clean room, very friendly staff. Very hard to get to, limited parking.
Room was nice and clean. Most staff was friendly Double booked in first room (the handicapped room I requested). Moved to a smaller room with queens instead of king. I am 6-5. Nothing else he could do. No more rooms. Should have been offered something to compensate.
The rooms were nice. The staff was pleasant. Enjoyed the hot chocolate chip cookies they offered - nice touch. Enjoyed the comfort of the bed the most. Slept really well.
Awesome and friendly staff. Beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms. Definitely recommend the Hampton Inn! Not applicable.
Location is great. The gentleman who checked me in was efficient and polite. Bottom room near elevator. I asked for a room that was away from the noise... room was a older room with older furniture. TV did not work at all.
Nice bed. Bathroom was a bit dirty
The hotel is very nice and clean. Since we are dropping by the town for just one night to visit a friend and do some shopping, this hotel is a great choice. The hotel locates just opposite of the Folsom Outlet mall, with a lot of restaurants nearby. It will be great if continental breakfast is included in the room rate.
