Pros: In a really nice area, absolutely wonderful staff (best I've seen in a long time), comfortable large rooms, 24hr room service, on-site spa, indoor pool, close to cafes and restaurants.
Cons: Wish there were a sauna or steam-room.
Pros: The staff were extremely kind and since we were there as newlyweds
We were given a copy of our new name signed for the first time as
A keepsake....the mattress was very comfortable ....wish we could've
Slept longer but we had to catch an early flight to our honeymoon
Destination. ....definitely a night to remember.
Pros: Got a free upgrade
Pros: Nice staff, cleanliness

Pros: Very friendly staff, great location, and excellent value. I will definitely be back!

Cons: The pool is too small.
Pros: Not much, wife enjoyed her massage.
Cons: Beds too small, advertised pool is actually an exercise pool in the basement 15x8 in size. Very small bar that is understaffed. Gaming center has small pool table and board games that are incomplete. Very overated overall.

Pros: The rooms were very nice, bar & restaurant were awesome. Fridge, microwave & options for beverages were good. The location was perfect for our girls night sleepover.
Cons: The front desk clerk was rude & didn't explain any charges. Unfortunately they had to come and change the bed sheets because it looked as the though the weren't changed from the previous guests. The cleaning staff responded quickly and they were very apologetic.

Cons: Overcharged and met with a $100 "incidentals" fee upon arrival, jacking up the price to that of a much nicer hotel. Con artists and a complete rip off, will not be returning.
INNSIDE New York NoMad is just 4 mi (6.5 km) from the airport and offers a shuttle. Guests can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Impero Caffe, which serves Italian cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms at this luxurious hotel offer up nice touches like free minibar items and premium bedding.
Pros: There was hot water and that's literally about the only thing I can think of that I liked about this hotel.
Cons: If you've stayed at any other Curio hotel and are thinking this will be a similar experience, I've got bad news for you: this is an awful hotel.
1. The room layout is horrible, most of the rooms face the brick wall of an adjacent building (and you can hear their external AC window units running);
2. the AC is tiny and cannot properly cool the rooms (which are VERY tiny by NYC standards);
3. The elevators are slow, bumpy, and small causing you to wait 15 minutes to catch one not full of people and luggage;
4. The room service is not up to any normal standards. They have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower which are empty and surrounded by mold and mildew -- a health nightmare;
5. NOISE: expect to hear anyone cough, sneeze, turn on a lamp, or zip up a bag from an adjacent room or any room on your floor; and
6. Poor bathroom layout -- there is NO room to put anything on the counter in the bathroom. Don't expect to get ready very easily in this hotel as there is no full-length mirror either!
This should NEVER received the Curio brand from Hilton. The hotel is by far the biggest disappointment I've ever seen as a Diamond member.
Cons: Small room, but it's ok
Pros: Although an old hotel, everything was very clean.
Cons: Poor window isolations, you have to keep the air conditioning on all the time to avoid street noizes.
As everything about NYC accomodations, the prices are ridiculously high.
Cons: Bad functioning TV, old TV models. Poor internet wi-fi.

Pros: Clean hotel
Nice amenities (pool/jacuzzi)
Cons: I purchased my stay through a third party listed on kayak.com for a great price but was charged double the amount at checkout. It was a mistake made on the hotels part and I was told the price would be adjusted but it was still irritating. I had to spend wasted time at the front desk while they figured the situation out. Staff was friendly about but the issue but it was not an ideal situation. Also, what if I had not caught this error? I would be out an extra $150.
Pros: Easy to accessible
Pros: It was convenient for my needs.
Cons: The sheets, towels and blankets felt like sandpaper.
It was fine for what I needed it for, but that was it.
Pros: The location was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hot tub was out of order and the pool was very cold. These were the primary reasons for staying as my young children were really looking forward to swimming without freezing and therefore catching a cold.

Pros: Basic Courtyard- clean, large enough room by NY standards, great location
Cons: Old single pane windows allowed in even more noise than I am used to in NYC. Courtyards are also my last choice among Marriott brands since they essentially provide nothing for anyone with Marriott Rewards status, unlike all the other Marriott brands.
Pros: Location/ lounge/ service
Stay in the heart of The City That Never Sleeps with Courtyard New York Manhattan/Herald Square. Pros: Location, location, location. Located just off Old Country Road in Westbury, it's in the heart of the Carle Place/Westbury area, easy to get to from highways or streets and close to nearby Nassau Coliseum, Eisenhower Park and other area attractions.
Cons: Breakfast isn't included and it's too expensive. For $14.95 per person, one can go to any of the many local diners and get a wider array of breakfast offerings as well as larger portions.
Pros: The location suited our needs quite well. Most staff members were courteous and helpful.
Cons: The fact that there was no complimentary breakfast was a disappoint considering the price per night and the large buffet put out in the morning. I'm still not clear as to who is entitled to it and the answer I got at the front desk was vague at best.
Pros: Staff was truly excellent.
Cons: Bed was a little too firm for me.
Pros: The front desk was extremely helpful. The waiter was great also
Pros: It was very centrally located to everything, which may it very easy to find (coming from the Jersey Shore). We had an excellent dinner at Baci (?) restaurant. And could easily get to the Scottish Festival at Old Westbury Gardens.
Cons: It was impossible to adjust the temperature (as it was designed).
Pros: cyber room and complimentry coffee and fruit in the mornings
Cons: yes just wish they had a shuttle service to jfk so i wouldnt have to drive so much in new york cause im not used to the traffic but smart enough to buy the added insurance to my rental car..
Pros: The hotel is surrounded by many shopping stores and easy to get to.
Cons: My only issue with the hotel is the pool is very small. The hotel was great and in a great location.
Pros: The hotel was great. However, the king suite did not not seem to have a king bed. It seemed to be a queen bed.
Pros: Overall-everything! The location was extremely close to where we needed to be. The room was very clean and well maintained. Even though the dining area was being remodeled and they served breakfast in a meeting room, the service and food was excellent.
Pros: This hotel is located within walking distance to MANY dining options, both chain restaurants and local establishments. There is also a shopping mall literally across the street from the front door of the hotel.
Cons: The hotel was undergoing a renovation. Our room had already undergone the remodel. However, we found the temperature of the room difficult to stabilize. The fan of the heater/air conditioner was also quite loud.
Pros: The location.
Cons: I was completely satisfied.

Pros: Rooftop terrace, food service, and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Bit overpriced. We have had comparable or better stays, for less money.
Cons: Definitely STAY AWAY from that place!!
I came at freezy night, the room temperature was at 76 and didn't go higher. I called operator, he sent "engineer" which couldn't do anything he said that's the highest, i called operator and said it's not acceptable, he said the they can't do nothing the whole hotel is set at this temperature (really??). I said show me another room as u sound now ridiculous. Then the same(!) "engineer" came and.. oh miracle (!) he fixed it. I said all of u guys are such LIARS!! Just made me SO mad and irritated for no reason.
WAY overpriced hotel for the way it is,
HORRIBLE "costumer service" from most of the stuff here,
no room delivery after 11:30pm
No parking space,
Spent almost $300/night for the room doesn't even have tube.
It's not a hotel, it's bullshit!.
Pros: We liked everything about the hotel.
The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the location was on Broadway, just one short block from 7th Avenue.
I would stay again. It was a very good experience.
Cons: The only thing I questioned (but was not a big deal) was the bathroom was small - couldn't fit 2 people in at once. The shower pressure was too good. Meaning that it hurt the body when the hand held was used. The rain shower was good but if you didn't want to wet your hair, you had to use the hand held which in turn was so powerful that it hurt the body. It didn't bother me that much but it was the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable.
Pros: It was a perfect hotel
Pros: The view from the room was perfect, if only I had stayed on New Years! Front row seats to the ball drop! Very clean and luxurious
Cons: Some hidden fees & deposit was larger then website said it would be
Cons: 1. Due to computer glitch, our reservation was "lost", took staff an hour to reinstate it.
2. Refrigerator in the room did not have a single bottle of water. I had to take medication without any water.
3. Ice machine on the floor was broken, no ice whatsoever.
4. Room had coffee machine, but no tea/coffee and water in the room.
Cons: No drinking water available in the room and ice machine was out of order. The coffee in the restaurant tasted like it was burnt.
Pros: Great location, value for money, loved the room, the bar and terrace were very cool. Great vibe and value overall.
Cons: Even with a hotel stamp, parking lot down the street was still almost $50 overnight. Wish hotel credit would have been worth more.
Pros: The location is great but they made little effort in making guests comfortable.
Cons: There was a huge crowd for an outdoor party on the nightclub deck. Our room shook all night until about THEEE AM. You couldn't hear the tv in the room and forget sleeping. It was miserable.
Pros: There was a problem with our bathroom that was not addressed appropriately on the night it was reported. The manager the following morning was profusely apologetic and provided complimentary breakfast for our party, in addition to addressing the problem.
Pros: Fun, modern sci-fi inspired design, excellent food, bar and restaurant were great. Staff were mostly courteous and attentive. Room service was quick. Shower was excellent :)
Cons: Wi-fi was terrible. Even after I paid the 14.95 for "high-speed" we had constant connection problems. On my third night the Novotel wireless network didn't even show up on list of available networks and was seemingly down for the remainder of the night. Not as big a deal on a leisure trip, but if I had been there for business I would have been screwed.
The sink in the bathroom was poorly designed. Every time I turned on the faucet, water would splash up and out of the bowl and get everything on the counter wet. Had to keep water on lo-flow to avoid this.
With a premium central Manhattan location and iconic sweeping views of Times Square, the Novotel New York Times Square hotel is situated in close proximity to the Broadway Theater district, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, World-class shopping, and 'Must-See' Landmarks. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience in 4-star contemporary comfort, whether your stay is for business or leisure.
Pros: Cool setting a little different could be really good
Cons: Old elevators slow and half the time out of order. Rooms small but comfortable.
Pros: The decor was the highlight of the stay. I was only in for a night but that didn't stop the service from giving their best.
Cons: I was on the first floor right on the street and I mean right on the street. The noise wasn't an issue as much as the people on the sidewalk looking right in my room. The tv didn't work. I found this out after coming home late and felt it eccentric to call to have it fixed at 2 am especially when you're only there for 1 night. Lastly, there were ants in my room. They got into some of my things and I had to throw away some toiletries. Refund for only a partial amount of what I payed. They handled the situation at check out even though I called around 9am and was told they would send someone right away.
Pros: The industrial chic decor was remarkable. We felt like we were exploring and discovering as we'd take closer looks at vintage registers, a wood+leather ping pong table, or various London phonebooths.
And the staff, whether at the desk, from housekeeping, or from the restaurant/bar Mundo were all kind and communicative.
Our room, while not spacious, was comfortably setup/decorat ed. The quirky lamps allowed for subtle lighting. And the shower was large/luxurious. We would definitely go back.
Cons: Small details that we wished would be different: the sheets could be softer, the bathroom trashcan could be quieter/silent (it's the pedal-lid kind), and the fragrance (like cologne) in the lobby is entirely too powerful. We also wished there was something approximating room service: where our order at Mundo could be brought up to our room instead of us having to pick it up. That would've probably made us feel quite pampered. :)
Pros: Clean rooms, great staff, convenient location to trains and to local attractions like the museum of the moving image, great service.
Cons: Shower was not clean enough.
Pros: Got a good long term discount on the room. Nice coffee downstairs. Restaurant closed for renovations much of the time I was there, which was disappointing. Room bright and clean and comfortable. Right on top of the subway, though lots of repairs and delays when I was in town.
Cons: Housekeeping could have been a little more meticulous. Sometimes things weren't replaced.
Pros: The place was great with a funky decor. Clean with comfy beds. Bar and restaurant in hotel a bonus! Easy enough on weekends to find off street parking. Not sure if it was as easy during week
Cons: Construction on our side of building starting at 6am!! Cannot sleep with that noise!
Pros: The hotel and staff were very nice. The hotel scenery was awesome and it always smelled good. Our room was clean. It was really close to the subway station and a short ride to the city. Its also close to a cool town called Astoria with bars and little restaurants and its also super close to La Guardia airport. The area around it is not the nicest and I wouldn't walk by myself but it wasn't too bad. There's an awesome lil coffee shop next door called All American II Coffee Shop & Deli that serve up a mean grilled cheese with bacon and $1 hot coffees. But for the hotels.com price of $122/night it was really worth it.
Cons: Everything was good except for our bed. It was the squeakiest, loudest bed I have ever slept on. And yes, the walls are very thin so when my neighbors phone rang it sounded like my phone rang next to my bed. Not a great place to stay if you are newlyweds, light sleepers, or enjoy privacy.
Pros: The staff was friendly and courteous, good live music at Mundo a restaurant they have downstairs. They have a communal kitchen on he 4th floor (convenient for some not for all) and a decent gym on the 2nd floor. They have good eco friendly toiletries
Cons: The room was small and the air conditioner didn't work. It turned on but I didn't feel an change. The elevator is a little creaky and there's no mini fridge in the room.
Pros: Clean. Nice front desk staff. Comfy beds
Pros: A revelation being so close to Manhattan.
Cons: Short on staff
Pros: Definitly recomended.

Pros: Check in was easy and staff was freiendly. Room was large and liked the fact that it had a fridge and microwave.
Cons: The bed and pillows were uncomfortable resulting in lost sleep each night. Also, the "restaurant" was small and the breakfast buffet overpriced.
Cons: I couldn't get there because of the weather. Flight was cancelled and they wouldn't do anything about my reservation. I will never stay in a Sheraton again.
Pros: Arrived late, around midnight. Check in was a breeze. The staff was nice and courteous. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
Pros: The jacuzzi
Cons: No untensils in the room

Pros: The pool and spa area was old, but served its purpose. Great breakfast dining area, but the buffet area was so packed in the morning, I couldn't squeeze in just to grab a scone.
Cons: Super loud. They put our family of 3 (with a 3 yr old) directly across the hall from some sort of male adult gathering. Doors closing/slamming all night. Someone knocked on our door in the middle of the night and woke me up. Way too much activity - the staff never should have put us on the same floor and in the same vicinity as the group on our end of the hall.
Pros: We were given a smoke room although when we on line checked in the night before and specified the arriving time. Not again stay there.
Cons: We were given a smoke room although when we on line checked in the night before and specified the arriving time. Not again stay there.
Pros: Quiet, they picked me up at rental car location, clean, nice stagf
Cons: Nothing, liked it all
Pros: Friendly staff;helpful.
Pros: The bed was huge and everything appeared to be spotless. All the staff members were very professional.
Cons: This isn't really the hotel's fault, but the shuttle was MIA. Make sure to call from the airport when looking for transport. This was a pretty bad time for the weather so it may not be a problem normally.

Pros: Conveinent to some local restaurants and shops.
Cons: Fitness center did not feel like a safe environment. Tucked away in basement far corner.
Complimentary breakfast was not appetizing.
The way the rooms are situated around the open atrium where the bar is located, is sometimes noisy at night.
Pros: Hot breakfast included in room price.
Pros: The hotel was very nice. Clean and attractive throughout. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cookies at the front desk were a nice touch.
We had a king bed room. It was nice and the bed was comfy. It had a flat screen TV and included HBO. We had requested extra towels and they were in the room when we checked in. The bed only had three pillows, but a call to the front desk quickly remedied that.
The included breakfast was great. We stayed for two nights, one morning Nova and bagels were featured, and the next day there was an omelette station. Fresh fruit, yogurt, home fries, bacon and sausage were among the offerings both days. Yummy.
The construction mentioned in some other reviews was not present when we were there.
Cons: There should be a sign directing you to park on the lower level checking in with bags. There is an elevator from the lower level. If you park by the main entrance, there is a flight of steps to haul your bags up.
A channel guide in the room would be helpful.
Cons: The fact that they were doing construction in the hotel and did not alert us at the time we made our reservation.
Pros: Hotel looked beautiful from the outside. Included breakfast was nice.
Cons: I stayed there when the 1st floor lobby was under construction. It didn't really bother me at first because the hotel did look like it needed to be updated, but they put me in a room where 2 out of the 3 nights I couldn't get to my room on my own. The second night there, I wasn't able to use the steps to get to the floor my room was on, so I used the elevator. I was met by a couple of men who basically told me to be careful and not to walk on the wet cement in order to get to my room. And this was at around 11pm. The last night the hallway to my room, as well as the elevator, was blocked off by caution tape. A staff member had to walk me through a kitchen located on that floor. So I'm not sure why I was put in that room since it definitely didn't seem like they were to capacity. I am sure this was just bad timing for me but it would have been nice to be notified beforehand that this was going to be occurring.
Also the hotel needs updating everywhere.
When you stay at The Roslyn Hotel, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. After getting a workout at the fitness center, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Cons: Very limited space in room. With two beds barely room for a lounge chair. Not a suite a all. Just a small room
Pros: Large rooms
Cons: Complimentary breakfast was inedible, staff provided amateur service, bathroom plumbing was slightly shoddy

Pros: good location next to Times Square; breakfast included; king bed
Cons: room was small; noisy - little noise insulation inside; one of two elevators was not working.
Pros: Not roomy, but adequate accommodations with very helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Reasonably clean.
Pros: Room was nice and also free breakfast
Cons: Lights went out for hours we had to eat breakfast in the dark with our phone light. Also I was billed higher at the hotel for my room. I used the book now pay later and the hotel charged me more than what website told me the total would be.
Pros: This hotel is in a great location.
Pros: Not much good to say... The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size for New York. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end...
Cons: Requested early check in on a high floor the day before I arrived, but received an email at the time I was planning to check in that I could not do so until after 3. When I did check in, I was given the 3rd floor right on the street. The car horns and street noise kept me up into the morning. I was on a non-smoking floor, but the cigarette smell was unbelievably thick. It was obvious they were allowing smoking in the rooms.
One word for the owners... bleach. The bed sheets were stained and obviously old. They should probably be replaced.
Breakfast was horrible. Other than the bagels, there were dry (maybe day old?) muffins, 1 pancake which had obviously been previously frozen, and the juices were basically water. They had actually positioned buckets next to the juice machines so you could throw out the juice rather than drink it.
We checked our bags to go to a show. When we came back to retrieve them, we asked for a cab. The bellman went out front to hail us a cab, but had no luck. He told us he would be right back, and went back in the hotel. After 10 minutes of standing out in the cold waiting, he never came back. When I went in to the front desk, I asked them if they could call a cab. They told me their concierge was gone for the day, so I had to go flag one down on my own! Never have I been to a hotel that could not get me a ride to the station.
The Hotel at Times Square puts you in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of Broadway and Rockefeller Center. You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and free continental breakfast is available daily between 6:30 AM and 10 AM. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: Great location, if you can tolerate Times Square. Stayed in a king corner room on the 16th floor. Wife and I loved the bed, the view, and the bathroom. Subway doesn't get any closer, entrance is immediately outside lobby door. Gym was spacious, if you need that. Didn't try the bar/restaurant, just too many other choices in Manhattan. For that matter, nice bathroom and comfy bed is all we needed, as we weren't looking to waste time sitting in the hotel.
Cons: Again, location is great as long as you want to be very close to Times Square and all that comes with it. Noise of the city is audible on the 16th floor, but wasn't a problem for either of us sleeping through it. Wifi has a fee, but you can avoid it if you sign up for IHC membership.
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice walk in shower (no tub). Subway entrance right outside.
Cons: WiFi wasn't free unless you sign up to rewards club.
Pros: Nice hotel friendly people
Cons: The parking people they are affiliated with are ripoff scam artists! DO NOT PARK THERE
Pros: for the buffet breakfast they write down 18% tip???
Pros: Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable, maid service timely, toiletries excellent, service excellent, fitness room spacious, and outstanding location - one block from Times Square, next door to subway stop to SoHo and 2 block from subway going uptown, near great restaurants a block away, and a block or two from most of the major theaters . We have now stayed here three times in the past 4 years - not willing to risk staying somewhere else
Cons: Nothing not to like, except it can be pricey depending on the day of the week you stay ($300-$400/night), but it is worth it.

The epitome of modern glamour the hotel is LEED certified with design highlights that include a sculpture garden and tree-inspired columns. Sip a signature cocktail in The Stinger Cocktail Bar and Kitchen before exploring the city’s dining shopping and theater scenes. We also have a glamorous ballroom 24-hour fitness center and personalized in-room beauty services by NOMI.
Cons: Hard to regulate temp with aircond unit. Location good though and staff helpful
Roomy, high ceiling, more space than expected.
Good clean AC unit
Nice to come back to at night after a day exhaustion from touring NYC.
Nice view, we stayed on the 9th floor.
I would stay here again.
Cons: Small TV
No iron in room
Only 1 elevator - but the wait is not too long.
No fridge in room
Pros: Front desk service.
Cons: Awkward breakfast service.
Not enough towels if you are staying more than one day
Pros: Very helpful with transportation and will hold luggage! Easy location to airport and trains
Cons: Bathroom was small but efficient and floors were incredibly waxed.... Slippery....
Just 3.5 mi (5.6 km) from the airport, Asiatic Hotel by LaGuardia Airport puts you within a 15-minute drive of Citi Field and St. John's University. Free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and wired Internet. There's a terrace, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and slippers.
Cons: 1) My stay at this room was a gift, but that gift was undermined by the fact that the hotel was unwilling to charge the gifter's credit card. So I payed for my gift; great start.
2) I arrived a little after 11pm, from a transcontinental flight. The kitchen was closed, which is fine, but I really wanted a hot meal. Instead, I ordered terrible pizza, based on staff recommendation. Like California bad. When I asked what other travelers did, the woman at the front desk said, "maybe arrive a little earlier next time." Thanks I'll just tell the pilot to fly faster.
3) I tried to order a beer at 11:58, but was informed that the bar was closing. Ok, is there some place I could buy a six pack? Maybe a corner store? "You must be from the south! That's the only place they have beers in convenience stores." Is it? Has this guy been across the river? Was this comment necessary?
Note that no solutions were presented here. All I want is a hot meal and a drink.
Meanwhile the whole lobby is filled with drunk people yelling. So I had the experience of being hungry, tired, treated poorly, and stone cold sober.
4) At one point I asked if there was a restaurant nearby and I was referred to an area out of walking distance. I explained that I was on foot, but was referred to the same area without additional explanation. Are you not listening? Or is there a secret shuttle service?
Please just help me find food. There was nothing at Newark airport. Why is this happening.
In the end, I waited an hour for terrible pizza and bribed the delivery woman to bring cold beers. It was the best service I experienced all day.
Side note: room needed carpentry work done - nails were sticking out of a portion of carpet that refused to lie flat.
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, comfort.
Cons: Inconvenient location.
Pros: We liked everything about this hotel! The room was very nice, staff was very helpful! Thank you!!!
Pros: Very clean
Cons: no complimentary coffee, breakfast

Pros: Price was low.
Staff was friendly.
Bar and restaurant on site.
Cons: No restaurants in immediate vicinity.
Shower pressure very poor and hot water doesn't last long.
Chairs in room aren't super comfortable.
Rooms don't have a window outside. You have a window t the hallway that others can walk by. There are windows in the hallway.
Cons: Unfortunately I would not know where to start. They say pictures are worth 1000 words and perhaps I should send some pictures. From dried blood, black mold, insects and stained headboards I would never recommend anyone stay here. The staff at the front counter was not only inconsiderate but claimed that I should have purchased "incidentals". Apparently at this hotel "incidentals" are defined as clean rooms. Needless to say my three business partners felt the same way and experienced more or less the same service and type of room. I can assure you as a company we will never stay at any Holiday Inn.
Pros: - The entrance is 'grand' and welcoming with updated fixtures and furniture
-bar was very nice looking
-pool was a nice size
- bedrooms were very updated and inviting
-shower and tiles all new and 'clean'
-lobby bathrooms very clean
-staff VERY accomodating and pleasant!
Cons: -Bar doesn't open until 5, had to order food from the 'outside'
-the lower level (single digit rooms) aren't very sound proof. I was up all night with doors slamming and hearing various conversations from down the hall. I wonder if staying on the main level would have been less noisy

Pros: Location - superb and convenient
Recently remodeled - very tastefully done
Room - a king size bed with room. Hard to beat in NYC.
I'll use it again if price is right.
Cons: The "resort charge" of $31 per night.
Pros: Excellent location next to Central Park
Cons: Too expensive. Poor interior quality. Very old rooms. (There was no refrigerator !!!). The hotel pictures are not accurate of its true condition.
Cons: Not friendly staff, small rooms, overpriced, hidden fees
Pros: This hotel is very well maintained, in a great location, and the beds are very comfortable!
Cons: They don't let you check in a minute before the check in time.
Cons: After dinner , wife an I ready to go to bed, my wife noticed pillow cases nor linen was changed. We are avid travelers, we were horrified!
Head of housekeeping had it changed at 9:00, but wife an I were tired and this event made us stand in hallway for almost an hour till changes were made.
Pros: Everything was clean and nicely decorated
Cons: Parking $70/day
Pros: Comparing with Hyatt (4 stars) in DC, Holiday inn (3 stars) in Buffalo and Holiday inn (3 stars) at 57th street NYC, this so called 4 stars hotel-Park central is nothing. The only advantage you have is location.1.The room is quite small, no coffee maker (I requested 2 times by phone, excluded I came to the front desk to request face to face),no refrigerator(you need to request, the quantity is limited and no one replied about whether they would supply or not.) 2.No hair conditioner in the bottle at the first night I stayed. After the third night, I left a note in the bathroom for the housekeeper and said"please refill the conditioner. Thanks." No one cared about this. The bottle was still empty. 3. Airconditioner was broken. Luckily the front desk changed a room for me. This is the worst experience I have in NYC. I am pretty sure I will not choose this hotel in the future and tell others about this experience. Again, if you don't care about the service at all, choose it. If you don't mind to walk several minutes more to Times Square or other sites and want better service and bigger room, Holiday inn midtown at 57th street is a good choice. And the rate is lower than park central.
Pros: I love the Park Central Hotel. It is our 2nd time to stay there. We originally stayed at Park Central in July 2014 and had an amazing experience all around. The staff, the room, the bathroom, the concierge, the location were all wonderful!
Our 2nd stay in June 2016 was nice but not as excellent as in 2014.
Cons: I booked the Park Central through hotels.com in 2014 and 2016. I chose it for the clean and well kept rooms, the location and the price is fair.
In June 2016, We were put in a "courtyard room (graveyard)" because of the price that we paid. If we spent $75 more a night they would upgrade us to a normal room.
This room had a window but barely let in any natural light. You couldn't see what the weather was like until you went outside.
The bathroom was so tiny that the only way 2 people could be in there at the same time was if someone was in the shower and the other at the sink. The shower was a tiny stall! I couldn't bath without my elbows hitting the walls.
Although, the similar price in 2014 gave us an amazing room with a street view and a huge bathroom (no need to upgrade).
The staff on this last trip were friendly but seemed to be rushed. Not the cozy vibe that we had in 2014.
Pros: they were very accommodating and friendly. the rooms were perfect sizes and beds were very comfortable.
Cons: the facility charge. we only stayed from 7pm at night until 12pm the next day so we didn't even use any of the facilities that were included in the charging so we thought it was a bit unfair to be charged that amount if we weren't even there long enough to use it.
Pros: It is near for everything, service is good, clean
Pros: Room larger than typical for the area, staff were very helpful, walking distance to many restaurants and places we wanted to visit
Cons: Though coffee places were nearby, it would be nice to get an early morning coffee without venturing outside the hotel. Perhaps marketplace kiosk could be open 24/7
Pros: Clean, comfortable, great location.
Cons: Still not sure how much I will be charged. I was invoiced a certain amount which does not reflect the amount charged to my card.
This Midtown New York hotel, renovated October, 2013, offers a desirable location diagonally across from Carnegie Hall, 1 block from Broadway, 2 blocks from Fifth Avenue shopping, and 2 blocks from Central Park. The Theater District and Times Square are within 1 mile.
