There was no car, even though I prepaid.
Pros: Total failure
Cons: Total failure. When I arrived there was no car, and they wouldn't help me. I had to make a last minute reservation at a different company, which cost more, and I had to Uber to the other place, which cost more. Hertz failed at the highest level.

Manager Doesn't Believe Customer
Pros: Only one employee, Sam, understands the value of customer service.
Cons: When a manager says, "My employee said he quoted you all the insurance policies, and I have to believe him over you," you wonder why did I rent from Hertz? A new employee quoted me one rate, $18 a day, for insurance, yet billed me $33.25 a day. The manager, Megan, at the Sheridan location admitted he was new, and she didn't hear him quote me rates, so why not make the adjustment and continue to train him? Bizarre. I guess they value dishonest employees over customer service.

More problems than it was worth.
Pros: The car smelled nice. Unfortunately there was nothing else noteworthy about this transaction.
Cons: It took over an hour to pick up my rental ahead of a 14 hour drive. I was also misquoted the price on-line. It said 130 when I booked it and ended up being $160+, that's after they tried to charge me for an extra day after I was given an incorrect drop off time. In the future I will not be using hertz or will be going through another booking source.
