Pros: We appreciated the lady at the checkout gate. She informed us the girls at the counter had sent us to the wrong car. So she had us drive back in and get the correct one.
Cons: I paid in full online. When we got to counter we were told we had to use a different credit card that had my husbands name on it not mine. Which I had paid with mine but put the driver as him. We did not get the insurance coverage we expected between online and at counter. They gave us the wrong car to start with and we had to unpack one and repack the 2nd car. In returning the car, the attendants did not even check to make sure everything was ok with the car. So we took pictures to make sure they wouldn't charge us for any damages that didn't happen

Cons: They cancelled the rental at the last minute since they didn't have any cars. Attempts to resolve the situation with both the rental location and Hertz customer service did not receive a response. I was attempting to visit a serially ill relative and was stranded without a car! Please have some one in your organization contact me to discuss this problem. Pros: The price you couldn't beat. They were honest & didn't charge me for unnecessary fees. I have never gone through Hertz before, but I will be revisiting in the future with my travels! Pick up & drop off was easy. Car was clean & didn't smell like smoke. Over all no complaints!!

scam on insurance
Cons: make sure you read the contract, I specifically did not want insurance, and told them i had no need for it, ( even filled out online account that i did not want insurance, and Magically they tacked it onto my bill.) when i went to check out they had a bill for me that was $160 dollars ontop of what i paid through Kayak. ( mind you I only had the car for about 30 hours)
