Cons: Didn’t have the car I reserved and refused to refund money. Had to dispute charges with my bank. Girl at the desk was very rude and had 0 interpersonal skills. Won’t be doing business with such a failing business .

Cons: The staff gave away our reserved car because we were a little late (but within an hour) for our reservation time, without contacting us to verify our situation. Consequently we had to take the only available car, which was more expensive and less well suited to our needs (2-door rather than 4 door, limited back seat)
Pros: They where very nice. They did not have to truck I scheduled on line but let me pick a different vehicle to accommodate my needs. The piece was good. It was easy for me because I nicked my truck online. It was very easy it was better then trying to arrange for a family member to pick me up.
Cons: Have a bigger option . I didn’t get the vehicle I wanted online. So they give me a different one. It was quite nice but I wish I could have got the one I wanted or something like it. Have coupons or military discounts.
Pros: The vehicle had good gas mileage.
Cons: The clerk could have told me how much the security deposit was before running my card.
Drop off
Pros: No problems, clean
Cons: I would like to have a bullet of drop off process. Most places when I drop off a car I am met by someone at drop off location who basically “takes is from there” and I’m done with the car. This was not the case at this drop off at fort Walton. You had to write down the information on hertz paper and walk into airport. Neither of which I knew to do. I was unfamiliar with airport. I have three small children. A good Samaritan saved the day let me borrow a pen and told me the process .

Cons: When i get there the girl tells me my card got decline, which its obvious i have money, tell her to run it again and same thing decline. My boyfriend gave me his card and she said"we will need to put everything under his name and you wont be able to drive the car" and we said fine. His card got accepted and signs the papers and we go outside to get ther car. We see the car it has several dents as soon as we open the car it smell bad like they left sea food in the car and the car was really dirty from the inside. Then we turn on the car it said maintenance required. We drove to san antonio and the wipers didn't work and they were scratching the window and the light for the wiper fluid turn on. I got charged for the car and i wasn't able to drive it and i never sign a paper saying i gave permission to get charged.
Cons: Rented for 4 days but brought it back afer 1 day becaues trip got canceled because my wife was sick, they charged me the full amount!
Don't Rent Here
Cons: Employees do not care about customers. The rental car was over an hour late.etc etc etc. Don't rent there.
Kayak or Hertz? I don't know which one is worse.
Cons: I received my confirmation of a rental car from Kayak, I arrived at Hertz to pick it up. There was no car available for me. I was told by a rude lady at Hertz in Beaumont (I had a relative drive me an hour to get there) at Kayak confirms without communicating with the car rental locations. I was stranded in Beaumont with no car to get my father, who is very ill and can't fly, home.
Pros: Patrick in Panama Coty was very professional, courteous, and helpful. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.
Cons: I had requested a military or AAA discount and was told in Beaumont that no discounts would apply. When I returned the car in Panama City, Florida, Patrick applied the military discount to my rental. I am not sure why it was not the case in Beaumont, but I appreciate the courtesy in Panama City! Thank you!
