Excellent except that airport office didn’t open until 8 am and we arrived at 7. Also, they had misplaced our reservation so it meant that the agent had to work it out. He did that nicely but it took a while, causing us and those in the long line to wait a very long time. So, excellent agent and car but poor agency service.Reviewed Jun 23 2026

1. Drop-off location at the parking in from of airport doesn't issue a car, only pickup 2. Terminal location is not listed on google maps 3. 20$ airport fee never mentioned during booking 4. Car wasa booked for 12pm, we arrived at 2:40pm it was not ready, waited 20 minutes and they give different car on manual gear, not automatic as booked (they are not paying attention), eventually exchanged fro automatic. 5. Check in went well and was easy. The car I was given had a number of dents and scratches. When I spoke to the agent, he assured me that all the damage was noted on the contract that was handed to me. Despite this, I took pictures and a video of the car at pick up. Unfortunately, because of an early flight, we had to use the key drop box and were not able to return the car to a live agent (so that we could confirm there was no new damage). Again, I took pictures and a video of the car just in case. A couple of hours after dropping off the car, I received an e-mail telling me there was new damage for which I would be charged. The picture they sent shows damage that is not there in my pictures or video. We decided to go with Hertz because we thought it was a reputable company. However, we were left disappointed. Now, we have to spend our time and energy disputing these additional charges.Reviewed Oct 3 2022
