I’ve honestly never had a better car rental experience. Checking in was quick and easy; checking out/returning was smooth and efficient. The person who helped me with both rental and return was pleasant, courteous, and well prepared for my transaction. The car was spotless. They were closed!! Flight was delayed. Arrived at midnight. Got to desk at 12:05 and they were gone. Left aT midnight ancco to customer service by phone. Other companies were open and waiting for their customers with reservations. Very disappointed to say the least.Reviewed Jun 5 2023

TERRIBLE! I RESERVED A MID SIZE SUV, AND HERTZ DID NOT HAVE A VEHICLE TO GIVE ME THAT FIT MY SIZE. ONLY SMALL CARS OR PICK UP TRUCKS. AND NO EFFORT BY DESK PEOPLE TO FIND A VEHICLE AT OTHER HERTZ NEARBY LOCATIONS. GRADE "F" FOR HERTZ!Reviewed May 30 2023

The car could have been in better shape. The backup camera was held in by tape and the windows hadn't been cleaned well (they were very hard to see out of). Otherwise, the car performed well and the experience was good.Reviewed Dec 6 2021

Front camera sensor was dirty, so no radar ready cruise control, or lane something alert (car jumping into lane in front of me) and some other safety function. Didn't start notifications until I hit the freeway, was on deadline, couldn't return car, had to stop and look up the warning light that kept popping up and beeping, discovered it was a nonessential problem, had to endure whole trip (16 hours) with light constantly going off and beeping. An older car 60,000 miles. That said, brakes and acceleration were excellent, and seat was comfortable. But I figure no way the previous driver didn't notice the warning light constantly going off, and tell the maintenance staff. Perhaps that's not a good assumption, but I feel the car should have been better maintained.Reviewed Sep 12 2021

Cons:We were never able to get our vehicle. The rental counter closed at 8pm and our flight got in at 8:42pm. There was no night pick up, no notification that there would not be anyone at the counter. They didn’t leave the information with any of the other agencies who were all open. We ended up having to get a rental car from another agency. We were fortunate that someone from Dollar was able to help us but we had to pay for 2 cars and then I had to spend the next morning of my vacation contacting Hertz to try to get a refund. Absolute nightmare! If you have a rental coming in that day, you should probably have your rental counter staffed! So disappointed!Reviewed Apr 14 2021
