Beware of fortworth/Taylor hertz
Pros: Agent was nice but, the business pactice at this loactions is bad.
Cons: Kayak said car available. Daughter drive 1hr because ofnthe low price n when she got there, Hertz said that car rate/car nit available, only car available was a suv for $71 vs $31 that we booked online. They would not budge on price. A waste of our time!!! Will never use Hertz again. Bad business practice...
Pros: the rates i liked and the car selections was nice
Cons: I didn't like that I needed more additional information than i was initially told by the clerk. I didn't like the fact that I had to purchase insurance before I was approved of the rental. I wasn't able to get the rental from Hertz but enterprise instead but I didn't get a refund for the rental insurance purchase from hertz.

Cons: Had to wait some time for my car because of some preperation still to be done by the staff. Also paid more then was proposed by the online deal due to the additional insurance. Would have loved to see this already online
Clean, fast and friendly
Pros: The representatives on both ends of the rental were friendly and the rental process didn't take long at all.
Fearful rental and not a value
Pros: Location is difficult to get in and out of. When reviewing car for damage prior to picking up, the rep held on to the paper and we werent sure she was marking down everything we pointed out. Then she expected us to sign it without looking at it. When we turned the car in they did not look at the car for damage. Hoping this doesn't become an issue.
Cons: Not happy. When I arrive at the airport I went to pick the car, turns out I was at the wrong location. Pick up was at the down town location and it was close. Called for a refund and was not able to do it.
Reserve in advance to avoid hassles
Pros: Hurricane Harvey hit a couple days prior to our pick up. There was a shortage of rentals available in Texas and some folks were out of luck when it came to securing a ride. Fortunately we reserved our mid-sized SUV two weeks in advance. It was a bit hectic at the Hertz rental store but that was understandable considering the disruption the hurricane caused. I was in and out in a very timely fashion. The windshield washer fluid was out but that was a quick fix. We are in the market for an SUV so the rental was not only for our trip out of state but it also proved to be valuable research for our next auto investment. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. CHEERS!
Pros: The car was very nice, clean and comfortable. It served our family well for what we needed. Both representatives that worked with us for pickup/dropoff were nice....not extremely accommodating, but friendly at least.
Cons: The wording on the credit/debit card policy wasn't good. It said that we would need to present a valid credit card at pickup (which I was thankful for because we couldn't afford for money to be held on our debit card.) The second line read, "Also" you must present a valid ID and the card that you used at the time of booking. So I was prepared to present the debit card which I had used to book it only as proof that it was me...but needed to put the hold charges for incidentals on the major credit card. The lady who helped me said that in order to do that, I would have to cancel the reservation and do it again with all of it being put onto the credit card...but we had already paid for the rental in full on the debit card a month earlier. It was just frustrating in how it was worded. It's also very frustrating how the spouse can't be added on as an additional driver for free when other rental places allow that. Last, at the time of our online booking, we paid for the insurance which we didn't find out until we arrived for pickup that it was a 3rd party insurance and nothing to do with Hertz. I don't feel like that was specified very well either.
Very Poor Service
Cons: The fact that because all I have is a debit they could not and would not rent to me. I had to book a flight back to Atlanta to get home!
Poor customer service
Pros: Only one person was able to help me out of this poor ordeal. Customer service via hertz service line. She guaranteed that if I come across issues I can exchange the car at any hertz location during my travel. Very calm at explaining and showed true customer service core values.
Cons: Poor custome service. Pickup time was at 10 am and due to poor vehicle maintenance had to wait 3 hours on site to pick up the vehicle. A previous flat located on the side wall of the tire was fixed by a plug. Caught the issue and told the service rep. The rep calls the manager and I had to convince that it is a hazard and I am traveling 3 days through different states. Asked the rep if I am not satisfied with the vehicle or encounter additional issues what should I do. Come to find out that it is ok to exchange the vehicle if I am dissatisfied at any hertz location. The manager approaches me and raises the issue if my intention is to change the vehicle at another hertz location then they do not intend to change the tire and I should take it as is. Had to convince him that I have a fixed agenda and I need the vehicle. Finally he allowed the replacement of the tire. Please note passenger side tire was bald...less thread then the recommended safety thread by industry experts. The vehicle rental was a need on my side and not want. Under different circumstances I would have asked for a cancellation of my rental.
