Had to wait at the pickup counter for 20 minutes until the attendant returned from walking his dog. The vehicle reserved was a Nissan Rogue but got stuck with a Ford Escape. Was not happy about that since there were Rogues in the lot. While clean, the auto transmission shifted roughly and the in car navigation system didn't function unless cabled to a phone. Upon returning the car, several others also were confused as to where the drop off was. It was in a different location altogether. There was no attendant in the lot only a faded print out map of where the drop off was. Once making our way to the actual drop off location, it was quick and hassle free.Reviewed Feb 14 2023

When booking online prior to travel I tried to enter my AAA number for a 20% discount and it was not accepted any of the 3 attempts, so I had to finish the reservation at full price. Since then I have only been given a complete and frustrating runaround from Hertz on trying to get any type of discount. I won't ever rent from them again and have told every family and friend the same.Reviewed May 1 2022
