Short staff
Pros: I had to wait for someone to come to the desk. They did leave a sign. Probably didn't wait any longer than in line at a big place. Staff friendly and helpful.

Pros: The car was clean. The folks at the counter were very friendly. I was able to receive my AAA discount at the counter as I forgot to sign up for it online.
Cons: The car was given to me with the gas tank at half full. I had a difficult time refilling the gas level back to half full to return the car.

Kayak was the real problem
Cons: Kayak offered a car that wasn't located at the airport even though I specified the airport. Hertz wouldn't honor or change the reservation so I had to start over and pay again. Hertz wouldn't event transfer the insurance purchase. I took almost an hour to start with the virtual staff, a manager, and a desk agent before getting a car. In the end, it cost me $79 to rent a car for 8 hours. I'm done with Kayak and Hertz.

Pros: They were wonderful and very helpful. The car was great and never had any issues. Dropping off was fast and there was a chip in the windshield when I get it and it spread when I got to the snow, they were understanding. I will for sure rent from them again when needed!
