It was great! Easy! Great customer service! And the young man Brandon who help me was very patient, extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I was having some issues with my card. Drop off was easy and quick! I’ll definitely be using them in the future!Reviewed Dec 30 2023

I pre-paid for my car and was late picking it up and there was no car for me when I arrived unless I wanted to pay more for a larger car. I was told I paid for a time slot. I did not pay for a time slot, I paid for a specific car that I picked out. Whether this is in your terms and conditions, this is horrendous customer service. What if I was flying in and my flight was delayed? Then, I'm just stuck at the airport? The person at the Hertz counter told me I had to call for a refund. I called and the person on the phone was very confused and repeatedly recited some other customer's travel info to me, even though I told him it was not me. I waited 7-10 business days for a refund and never got it, so just had to call back again and was told I have to wait another 7-10 days for a refund. In the end, I never got a rental car and it's been nothing but a hassle to try to get my money back.Reviewed Jan 10 2022

Cons:When I went to pick up the vehicle, I waited for 20 minutes before I spoke a staff. She told me no cars available!!!! Then the manager asked me to come inside .After a few minutes she told me to go outside and wait. Another staff came out and told me that no vehicle available. I showed the proof of confirmation, and I Asked why I'm not getting a vehicle , she told me there are so many other people made reservation before me. When I asked for the explanation she told me to get out of the office. Thank you Hertz for your excellent service 👏 😀 👍 🙌Reviewed Mar 17 2021

Pros:The person at the pick-up location was friendly and helpful.Cons:The car was still dirty form the previous renter/ trip. Additionally, it only had a quarter tank of gas..I would have liked if the car were clean and filled with gas.Reviewed Sep 17 2020

They said they wouldn'tPros:They wouldn't except your offer told us we would have get our money back from you. They would not except my wife debit card. They said our card was not accepted by our transaction on line with you guys. BUT MONEY was taken out of my wife account. So we would appreciate you to kindly pay back our money and investigate this company.Cons:Our money back that was transacted on line. This place needs to be put off your place to do business with. We had to wait an hour and half because they said there was not a car on their grounds for rental. We should also be compensated for the time they made us late on leaving.Reviewed Jun 10 2018

Hertz - Original Pickup Site - Vehicle IssuesPros:The price of the deal was excellent. The vehicles were clear and appeared to be in very good condition. Our destination had a Hertz and those folks were fantastic. They resolved the issue of vehicles.Cons:The Valparaiso Hertz location was unable to give us the vehicle type (SUV) as we had requested because the license plate was expired! They offered us to drive an hour in the opposite direction to get a vehicle we wanted. Instead they gave us a sedan (which was in itself a nice sedan) but it was clearly not what I paid for. I did not get a discount or a refund because I prepaid. Then we had to wait outside of the facilities while the attendant when and fueled the vehicle! It does not reflect well on Hertz!Reviewed Jun 9 2017
