I travelled 25 minutes in Uber to pick the car spending around $50 fare. They informed me at the spot that we do not have any availability. They said it usually happens with online booking. If this happens most of the time, they should stop online service.Reviewed Jun 8 2024

I pre-paid for my car and was late picking it up and there was no car for me when I arrived unless I wanted to pay more for a larger car. I was told I paid for a time slot. I did not pay for a time slot, I paid for a specific car that I picked out. Whether this is in your terms and conditions, this is horrendous customer service. What if I was flying in and my flight was delayed? Then, I'm just stuck at the airport? The person at the Hertz counter told me I had to call for a refund. I called and the person on the phone was very confused and repeatedly recited some other customer's travel info to me, even though I told him it was not me. I waited 7-10 business days for a refund and never got it, so just had to call back again and was told I have to wait another 7-10 days for a refund. In the end, I never got a rental car and it's been nothing but a hassle to try to get my money back.Reviewed Jan 10 2022
