They canceled on me less than 24 hours before pickup. This was a van to move stuff. I had to mitigate my damages by getting a Penske vehicle. I requested they pay the difference and they have refused. I have filed a consumer complaint with the State’s Attorney General office. They also sent me an email stating that everything was a go, 48 hours before I was to get my vehicle.they owe me roughly $141

The address took me to the wrong location and then I had to wait 40 minutes to pick up the car because it wasn’t clean.

I pre-paid for my car and was late picking it up and there was no car for me when I arrived unless I wanted to pay more for a larger car. I was told I paid for a time slot. I did not pay for a time slot, I paid for a specific car that I picked out. Whether this is in your terms and conditions, this is horrendous customer service. What if I was flying in and my flight was delayed? Then, I'm just stuck at the airport? The person at the Hertz counter told me I had to call for a refund. I called and the person on the phone was very confused and repeatedly recited some other customer's travel info to me, even though I told him it was not me. I waited 7-10 business days for a refund and never got it, so just had to call back again and was told I have to wait another 7-10 days for a refund. In the end, I never got a rental car and it's been nothing but a hassle to try to get my money back.

When I went to pick up the vehicle, I waited for 20 minutes before I spoke a staff. She told me no cars available!!!! Then the manager asked me to come inside .After a few minutes she told me to go outside and wait. Another staff came out and told me that no vehicle available. I showed the proof of confirmation, and I Asked why I'm not getting a vehicle , she told me there are so many other people made reservation before me. When I asked for the explanation she told me to get out of the office. Thank you Hertz for your excellent service 👏 😀 👍 🙌

The interior of the car wasn’t completely cleaned as there were stains and spill residue left from other renters

Nothing.Horrible. Never got the car. Reservation at noon and got there at 11:45 and they were closed.

The person at the pick-up location was friendly and helpful.The car was still dirty form the previous renter/ trip. Additionally, it only had a quarter tank of gas..I would have liked if the car were clean and filled with gas.

The people are rude and then wanted a credit check to rent the vehicle. I have never had to do that with any company. I went to enterprise received a better deal and an upgrade. I will never use hertz again.
