Pros:Service, flexible drop off option, transparency, upgrade.
Pros:Car and how it worked. Was fun driving.
Cons:Trying to find the drop off point in Florence was very confusing!!!

Cons:We waited in queue for about an hour/ hour half for the lady behind the desk to tell us that she gave our rental away. Worse experience.
Pros:The pickup process went smoothly and the car was in good condition
Cons:I was a couple hours late returning my car to Vicenza (their office was closed), and am being charged for a full extra day. I would understand a modest late charge, but to charge a full extra day for a couple hours seems punitive and unfair. The employees I spoke with about this lacked empathy.
Cons:The USB adapter didn't work properly so I couldn't recharge my phone for my Waze to work. Was concerned about being in the middle of nowhere without directions

Pros:Car was nice and spacious. Drop off in Rome was easy.
Cons:Car was not ready at scheduled pickup time. Hertz staff in Florence was not helpful.
Pros:Check in was fine, although they were busy and so it took a long time. The car was funny as well although not particularly clean.
Cons:At drop off, there was an additional huge charge for extra time even though I was within the window. The staff person told me she could fix it then she couldn't fix it, I asked her to send for the manager and even though she had said she sent for the manAgee earlier she then told me she couldn't find him. Really? It felt like a big cheat that counted on people needing to catch a plane and not having time to deal with the details.
Pros:The car was comfortable and looked new. The front desk clerk was helpful and attentive.
Cons:I was ripped off. I drove from Florence to Malpensa airport and asked for the refill option. I was informed that it would cost 70 Euros. I had to take this option because I had a flight to catch and could not find a gas station close enough from the airport. I thought that the price for the service was expensive.
