Liked the location, disgruntled at the drop off location when the sign pointed to the garage door that did not open when the car approached. No instruction was given about needing to contact the office on arrival to obtain entry to the parking garage.

Pros:Great car except for seat belt problem and fact that Hertz forgot to install car seat that we requested in writing and verbally
Cons:So we had to return to pick-up location for car seat. Then when we removed car seat to adjust straps for our four year old we could not get he seat belt to ratchet and lock properly to secure car seat, so we had to return to pick-up location a second time(!) for a service person to help with their tricks for getting this seatbelt to work! Basically it cost us two full hours before leaving on a busy holiday weekend.

Pros:Finally after much debate the supervisor who didn’t have a name tag on was finally helpful and understand and starting to show customer service.
Cons:We were given a faulty key. When we went to our first stop and turned off the car the fob blew apart in my hand. We were able to put it back together again to where it would function and we could continue our trip but it was a nuisance the whole trip. When we dropped off the car the receiving faculty tried to hold our credit card for $500 until claims dealt with us. We ended up speaking with the superviosor and after quite a bit of debate she finally took the hold off and allowed us to leave.

Pros:Rented a mid size SUV. Nissan X-Trail advertised but Hyundai Tuscon delivered. This is as expected with any rental car company. The point is the car was actually better than that promised. Use the promo code 109491 for a substantial discount (expires Sept 2016 I think) Was charged only slightly more than the estimate. It pays to dig down on each company to get the quotes which include the fees, They make up a substantial portion of the cost (37%)
Cons:My car was at the international terminal. I assumed they only had a counter at Domestic so I made a needless ($12) round trip between terminals. The agent stated 'you know you have a $4,000 excess'. I took out insurance (provided by Allianz). Their policy says nothing about an excess (deductable)! This is all handled as a separate transaction. Thankfully, I didn't have any issues. Not sure how tolls are handled. I was only told "not to worry about it" There was no charge on my final receipt except a $130 rego fee. Best scenario is the tolls are included in the rego fee. Most likely scenario is I will get an additional charge on my card for actual amount. Worst case is the RTA will issue fines based on Hertz providing driver information. Nothing was given in writing.
