Pros:NOTHING.
Cons:EVERYTHING. I was not provided with the size car I reserved (Mid size), i was instead forced to take a compact car (Versa) because they literally did not have any other cars. The car was VERY dirty inside, and the wind blew me around while driving it alllllll weekend. Workers very rude, didn't care that I wasn't getting the car I reserved. Just said "thats all we have." I also PAID for a mid size car, but received a different size, which should have resulted in paying a different price..never renting through any hertz ever again

Cons:Suv we reserved should have been available as I called 30 before pick up time and was told all was well. Suv was filthy, candy wrapper in drivers door pocket, crumbs in the front cup holder and worst of all- a used disposable dental floss pick and tissue in the passenger door pocket. This, while hertz proudly put not one but two COVID CLEAN stickers on the SUV. Unfortunately the dental pick up as not discovered until our trip was underway. Will never rent from them again. Also high mileage vehicle- over 33,000 miles

Pros:None. Worst service ever. Car was not available when I showed up for pickup, even with a confirmed reservation that I paid for days in advance. In the end, I ended up wasting 6 hours to find an alternative rental, which was impossible on a Saturday.
Cons:Hertz needs to review their customer service and look into this branch location by the Galleria. Very bad service.

Cons:They have absolutely no instructions at Houston Airport (AIH) nor an email on how to drop-off the car for after hours drop-off. So tricky and confusing.

Pros:The Chevy Equinox was an easy SUV to drive. Seat with lumbar adjustment was a dream. Navigation screen was a nice size and easy to use. Sales folks were friendly and helpful.
Cons:Car could have been cleaner, inside and out. Car had dings and scrapes and a scraping issue when the trunk closed. There was no assistance or guide on how to use features. I had stopped by the day before to make sure I knew where the location was and to make sure the reservation was complete. When I came the next day they said I needed proof of comprehensive ins coverage, not a ins card. Because of time constraints I ended up having to purchase their ins which almost double the cost of the rental; a first in my rental history.
