Pros:nothing, they do not care about the customerCons:they did not have a rental car for me on the day I was supposed to pickup to go out of town. I made my reservation and paid for it two months in advance just for them to tell me there is no car for me. Then they said they couldn't give me my money back, so I had to call the 1-800 number and stay on hold for 30 minute just to talk to someone and explain my situation. Finally they agreed and refunded my money which I have not received yet. The part that really upsets me is that they never had a manager or anyone reach out to me to just say sorry.Reviewed Jun 22 2021

Pros:Incredibly disappointed. I made a reservation over a month in advance, the morning of the pickup Hertz called me to cancel, and made no effort to replace the car rental. When I found another Hertz rental in the area, they were asking to charge 3 to 4 times the original rate. I will never look to rent from Hertz againCons:It was a terrible experience. Pros:NothingCons:Having the car we booked. The SUV we originally booked through Kayak wasn't available at the location. The location only had one car that should have been brought back in the morning but wasn't. They offered us a mere 100$ discount for a smaller car, which would have been much cheaper to book to begin with. We left the location without a car.Reviewed Jun 14 2021

Pros:When I arrived to pick up my rental I was told that they had rented my van out to someone else because I had not called to tell them that I was running late. This even though I had responded to an email the day before confirming my rental RESERVATION. After all what is a reservation? It means that you have reserved with a credit card thus you should have the vehicle available when you arrive. While they did find me another van to rent it meant that I had to drive halfway across town to get it. It was a cargo van and I was working in a tight moving window so this put me an hour and a half behind schedule. When you reserve something and confirm by responding to their confirmation email the day before that should mean that they will hold the order for you, or at the very least call or text to confirm before they just rent it right out from under you to someone else.Cons:Honor a reservation when it is confirmed with a credit card and confirmed with Hertz's confirmation email the day before.Reviewed Jun 7 2021

Pros:Pickup was fine. The van wasn't the nicest but it got the job done.Cons:The agreed upon drop-off location was closed (gate locked, lights off, no one answered phone), so I called Hertz Corporation. Their agent advised me to drop it off at a different location, neglecting to tell me it would be an additional $800. This was completely unacceptable. When I called to ask about the claim, the Hertz representatives placed the blame fully on me. I will NEVER use Hertz again and will go out of my way to advise others against using that so-called company.Reviewed Jun 1 2021
