10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent B&B. Very clean. Lovely, personable hostess. Splendid colonial house, built circa 1795. Completely and recently rennovated. Very well appointed. Highly recommended. Very congenial fellow guests.
Cons: Bedroom rather over heated at night. Slept with out comforter and just sheet.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice building and owner and very comfortable there. One hears all that goes on in the house so can decide if need more privacy for romantic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Carolyn's B&B was fantastic. When I arrived, Carolyn warmly greeted me at the door and made sure that I was settled in her lovely home and my meticulously clean room. My stay was comfortable, convenient and quiet. Carolyn saw me off with a warm cup of coffee for the road. I would highly recommend Carolyn's B&B for any stay in Hudson!
Cons: Not a negative, but worth noting: Carolyn has a dog and two cats. I'm an allergy sufferer and should have admittedly done my research prior to arriving. The B&B was so clean though that I wasn't bothered.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable accomodation and a warm welcome. Owner was very helpfull and flexible concerning my early arrival. Made me feel very much at home.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the 2nd floor coffee/breakfast/library nook. And the yummy zucchini bread.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very, very old hotel where someone has done a beautiful job modernizing the rooms with the perfect ratio of funk/charm to comfort -- big rooms, lovely bathrooms, view of the river. But the soul of the old hotel is intact.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, comfort, dining options
Cons: Is a noisy inn due to the historic building and it was fully disclosed -
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, cool and cozy. We had a very nice stay.
Cons: Didn’t realize the restaurant would be closed certain weekdays...bummer. We were looking forward to eating there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really simple and delicious breakfast – fresh fruit, yoghurt and the best homemade granola I've ever tasted! It was great to have access to the coffee machine whenever we liked. Athens is beautiful, charming and quiet (prefer it to Hudson!) with a few great local spots for dinner and coffee, and also close to Catskill for other great stores and venues. The rooms were beautifully furnished, the restaurant and bar was outstanding. Bathrooms have locally-made organic products which smell wonderful. We felt really welcomed and at home. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway. Looking forward to coming back again soon!
Cons: Nothing, it was all wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was beautiful and the location and scenery were spectacular. Easy to book.
Cons: Maybe more snacks

Pros: The design for our suite was really thoughtful and cosy. The bed was SUPER SUPER comfortable as well. We had a huge collection of vinyls to choose from and a library of great books. Best of all our hosts prepared a three course gourmet breakfast for us. Felt like a home away from home!

We arrived late and checking in was really smooth. Omg the bed was also SUPER comfortable. Like best sleep ever. Also its very quiet outside the place.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The style of the Wick is contemporary and for the most part, comfortable.
Cons: The housekeeping staff either hadn't been properly trained or just doesn't care about cleanliness. When we arrived, there was no toilet paper. When we called down to the desk, they promised to send some over but none came until we went down to the desk in person and followed the desk manager to the supply room. When we went to take a shower, we noticed that the shower curtain was full of mildew and there was hair stuck to the shower wall. We reported this in the morning and firmly asked that the bathroom be thoroughly cleaned. When we returned later that day, nothing had been done. The desk manager apologized and got housekeeping to change out the curtain and supposedly to clean the shower. They cleaned the floor but not the hair on the wall. The next morning we set out for our last day in Hudson and when we returned the trash pail in the bathroom had not been emptied and the hair was still there. We have never ever had issues with cleanliness in hotels until this stay. We expected at least that in a Marriot facility.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was good and portions ample.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were terrific at the front desk. Humorous, professional, & recommendations in the area were what they both provided & personal assistance. I have all ready spoken highly about This place throughout Hudson & to colleagues.Thank you!
Cons: Nope.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: A bit too far out of town.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A very nicely renovated old candlestick factory turned into attractive otel.Location very convenient to AMTRAK for car-less visitors. A little bit of a hike up into town via stairs, but no issues otherwise. Looks like they have a little electric golf-cart for getting folks around.
Cons: Our room's TV volume was very very soft, even though remote control device put it at "100". It made it impossible to hear late-night or early morning news. I'm sure somebody would have come to fix it but wifey didn't want anyone strange in the room at this time. I think they should have offered to take some $$$ off the bill. Also, room does not have very many convenience electrical receptacles for charging devices.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, open, high ceilings. Nice, family-friendly lounge area.
Cons: Reaching a bit, but the soap bar sticks to the flat-bottomed soap dish, and the duvet is very heavy.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Comfortable bed; nice bathroom.
Cons: Cleanliness is not anywhere close to Marriott standards. First room was dirty, asked for another room. Second room was better, but still lacking basic vacuuming. Not sure that linens were new or previously slept in. Location is not great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I am so happy that I chose to stay at The Wick for my first visit to Hudson. From booking my room before my stay to getting wonderful tips about local sites and events from the hotel staff, my two-night stay at The Wick was all around a great experience and choice! It's close enough to walk to everything and right by the train station.
Cons: Everything was great! No complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating.
Cons: The rooms are spacious and well designed. The best part was the sunset, the hotel has a great view of the mountains and the sun setting over the hills is breathtaking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a very cool vibe. My room was immaculate and comfortable. I was magically upgraded and so I had a big, luxurious tub that I took full advantage of. The fitness room was well-equipped, clean and cheerful. I like that it is close to everything, especially the train station, yet it feels quiet and peaceful and away from the fray. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, kind and generous.
Cons: I think, the hotel having such a cool vibe, they really need to take a hard look at the ambient music they play in the lobby/restaurant/bar area. My first day at breakfast there were too many hard rock and heavy-metal selections that were painful to endure that early in the day. The view is very lovely from the restaurant/bar, especially in Fall when I was there, yet the music really put a damper on my experience. At night they might try some jazz in the bar and at breakfast some light classical. Since the clientele appeared for the most part to be 30 and over, and probably mostly over 40, I think they'd appreciate more thought going into the playlist. Also, there was no robe offered like the one in the photos I'd seen before booking. This would have put the cherry on the cake for me. So sad there wasn't a nice warm robe after that great tub experience. The dinner menu could be more creative too.
6.7 Good
Pros: The property decor and building was nice. The person at reception was very nice.
Cons: It took over an hour to get our room service because they delivered our food to the wrong room. Upon arrival we requested a king size bed which was not available but promised a soak in a bath tub which we did not get. Also faced parking lot with the car parked about 5 inches away from our bedroom it was extremely uncomfortable. Hotel was far from the main hub of the town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great -- so close to the train station and in a quiet area. The rooms and beds are comfortable, clean, and spacious. The bath amenities are nice. The coffee is terrific. Having a bar and restaurant in the hotel is convenient, especially the evening it poured rain. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind.
Cons: The breakfast was so-so: good enough, but not up to par with the rest of the experience. To the restaurant: consider using locally-made pastries and breads in keeping with the community emphasis. Also, the oil for the breakfast potatoes tasted a little old. Final note: we were told at the bar that, despite all the placards at the front desk and in the restaurant, none of the seasonal cocktails (which sounded delicious) were available.

8.8 Excellent (87 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Catskill, The Kaaterskill is in the mountains, within a 15-minute drive of Bailiwick Ranch and Discovery Zoo and Dutchman’s Landing. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a secluded and a serene place. Bedrooms were large and bathroom was spacious with Jacuzzi. Little pond area with farm animals were just additional items that made us forget about the noisy and hectic city life.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and welcoming. Thoughtful touches, spacious, comfortable, beautiful views. Quiet area but easy to get to. Everything fresh! It was a mini-vacation not too far from work when having repairs done-lovely!!
Cons: It was a bit warm in the room for me but overhead fan took care of that. Otherwise perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property was so beautiful and peaceful, and the room was absolutely perfect. Far exceeded our expectations and was so much more beautiful in real life — the photos did not do it justice! Loved the feeling and privacy of a hands-off staff — but they were there available second you had a question or needed anything at all, it was perfect. Thank you so much for everything and keep up the good work!
Cons: Nothing, loved everything
7.0 Good
Pros: Very cozy rooms with good view and patio, nice animals and nature.
Cons: The confirmation by phone prior to the visit was easy to miss and when we got there it was a bit hard reaching the owners.
7.5 Good
Pros: It’s worth it. The room was clean and spacious. The environment was cozy.
Cons: However, there was no staff. We kind of like afraid for being only 2 of us. No caretaker after working hours. They should have at least one. The directions to the inn was not there. It was difficult to find the place. The light was not enough. It was so dark.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great gateway: nice design, look and feel. Animals are a nice addition for kids
Cons: But water of the spa smell terrible, champagne but no water bottles in the room (really???), wood stored outside thus when snowing you can use the chimney as wood is too wet, no telephone in the rooms thus you have to go in the entrance to get in touch with the staff, no cleaning service is done in your room during your stay... Could be fantastic if basics were met; until that this is ok.

8.7 Excellent (57 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at 26 Warren B&B in Hudson, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Max and Lillian Katzman Theater and Hudson Opera House. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Located on Warren Street where all the good restaurants and boutique shops are. The B&B is in a historical building built in 19th century, nicely renovated with lots of character. The room was very spacious and the bed really comfortable. If you love the feeling of old brownstone and don't mind old-school bathroom appliances this is the place for you. We love it this place is dog friendly, and they offer hearty homemade breakfast in the shared dining space where you get to mingle with other guests. Very happy we found this place!
Cons: The only thing would be that separate faucets for hot and cold water for the washing basin, which understandably is probably the common design from the old days, but it's tough to wash your hands without either burning or freezing yourself. I imagine it won't be an issue in the summer time.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was charming and welcoming. The bed was so very comfortable! I felt like I was in the home of an old friend. The location was great. Breakfast and staff were lovely. We would stay again.
Cons: We thought it was a little expensive for off season. Steep stairs to breakfast room.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Bed was very comfortable . Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order.
Cons: The room had NO heat. They brought in a portable heater which seem to help. It’s got down to 36 degrees one night. The room needed to be painted, it had stains on the walls and out side my door the smoke alarm was open with out its battery! A number of light fixtures did not work especially by the bed side . Cheap wire hangers in closet in addition a hair dryer was just left on the floor.Could not wait to leave . It was very Unpleasant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The innkeeper owners were so warm and welcoming. The house was beautifully decorated . The bed was extremely comfortable. The highlight was the vegan breakfast, beautifully presented and very delicious. Would most definetly stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and artsy. Comfy bed and atmosphere.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Location was close to the main restaurants and shopping.
Cons: Terrible bed,. On site innkeeper could not communicate in English very well, breakfast was mediocre, amenities not working,. Beware! Nothing on website indicates locations of rooms (example: upstairs/close to kitchen?). No local area brochures or info provided. Magazines in room were from 2016, 2017. A total rip off for what you expect from a B and B and for the money paid. Stay somewhere else.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast for one. It was amazingly wonderful particularly the dining area where we could meet and chat with other guests. We also thoroughly enjoyed the host. David was interesting, friendly and extremely accommodating.
Cons: A larger waste basket in our room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful interiors and lovely staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room felt more like a master bedroom than a hotel room, it was so nice. I really liked the seating area with the fireplace and tv, and that you could watch the tv from bed too. Nice options in the mini bar. A great stay for my birthday!
Cons: The property was great and the surroundings beautiful. Just the town outside of high season doesn’t have too much going on on a Tuesday evening, in case you’re looking for that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wm Farmer and Sons provided us with excellent service, comfortable beds, extra touches like interesting mini bar, contemporary design, great fireplace in room, large rooms, great amenities, close to the train station, terrific coffee shop and a wonderful bar and restaurant on site. The town of Hudson was within easy walking distance and was filled with great restaurants, cafes, bars, mid century furniture shops and unique clothing shops. Hudson itself is easy to get to by train and of you want to explore further afield in the Catskills and beautiful surrounding area, car hire is available in the town.
Cons: Couldn't fault anything
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great welcoming atmosphere in an attractively renovated historic inn. The room is spacious, airy and stylishly decorated, and the bed comfortable. The mostly locally sourced food in the bar/restaurant is very tasty and the oyster and drinks happy hour, a treat. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable about this interesting and attractive town.
Cons: Very little. The lounge seating area in the bar was a bit small and adjacent cafe area didn't have comfortable seating.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant is fabulous!
Cons: Can't think of a thing. Maybe schlepping luggage up and down stairs, but historical charm is the silver lining.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was sublime! Every detail sport on in historic beauty, richness, and comfort was amazing. Quintessential Hudson Valley Colonial- loved it! Wish I was there for more than one night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable with period decor and a separate sitting area, and a kitchenette with supplies and an al a carte bar with snacks. The bed was very comfortable with a nice comforter to pull up if needed!
Cons: The only things I found that were disappointing were the bathtub faucet (it came off easily), the rusted metal shelf next to the tub, the jagged, uneven, edges on some of the floor tiles (authentic but chancy), and the control for the gas fireplace (took me a while to figure out that you can only turn down the temp by going all the way to the highest and starting at the lowest again).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Modern, interesting interior design, great restoration of an old building. Definitely a great place to stay plus the bonus of having a good restaurant on the ground floor.
Cons: The granola was not worth the charge. The room was rather dark being illuminated by just a few Edison light bulbs.

Pros: Very comfortable and convenient.
Cons: Air conditioner was very loud.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was a good size, and wealthy chairs and tables were plastic, the bed was comfortable and the air-conditioner was in good working order. No view from room but that was not needed as the purpose was to sleep.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Corridor smelled of smoke and cat urine. Appeared to be people living in other units and they arrived at 2 am and left at 5am making lots of noise so sleep impossible. Bed linens had not been changed. Screens did not fit windows. TV didn't work although owner did his best. Room badly furnished, not clean and beds uncomfortable. This place not meant for guests who want to sleep in somewhat decent surroundings.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: ???
Cons: water had unpleasant sulfur smell. insufficient lighting. one of two mattresses substandard (not firm enough and could feel springs). lack of a luggage rack.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here because this was the closest place to hunter mountain that I could get last minute. This was a great room for the price. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were all friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The young lady (Amy, I believe her name was) was really sweet and helpful.
Cons: The guests in L1 or L2 (not sure which) were very loud and obnoxious all night.

2.8 Mediocre
Cons: Poor maintenance, staff tried, but lacked knowledge. Very poor attention to detail with apparently lazy mangement.

Pros: Great location, friendly service, and quiet.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in Hudson. Easy parking and walking distance from many bars and restaurants. Room was clean, but a bit basic for the high price.
Cons: Everything was good, but the rooms are expensive. Although there are not a lot of other options in Hudson, so it is what it is. Would stay again is in Hudson.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I don't think this hotel has been given the proper acknowledgement on some reviews I had formerly read. The bed and linens, bathroom and breakfast area comfortable and cleaner than some 5 star expensive hotels I've stayed in.
Cons: A weak shower head flow but the water was hot
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location wasn't bad given it's less than 5-min walk from Warren Street and it's dog friendly. The staff was nice and was doing her best to be helpful.
Cons: Given that we paid over $200 for one night, the bed sheet wasn't properly fitted, the bathroom door wouldn't close (literally the only way to keep the door closed was to push your hand against the door while using the bathroom). It was quite noisy at night so our dog woke up barking several times in the middle of the night so we barely slept.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and clean rooms
Cons: Breakfast ends at 9am sharp. Fitness center access ends at 11am
7.0 Good
Pros: It was very quiet. My room overlooked the park. Senic view.

Senic view.
Cons: There was no hamper in the bathroom for used towels
