Great friendly staff. Convenient location. Good value for the money. Balcony was missing siding.
Good central location, near beach etc. Clean rooms, daily housekeeping. Porr selection at breakfast.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The staff was really friendly and very helpful Doors were very cheap. Had to lock my turning lick inside the door before closing. They were like a cheap, hallow bathroom door. I could kick it in if I wanted to. The halls were dirty and smelled bad. The room was livable but not for longer than one nights sleep. I would not want to hang out in that room for very long
staff friendly and efficient swimming pool breakfast average quality

Not enough outlets in the room.

It was close to everything in town. The room was large & clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was not included, but coffee & tea were.

it was very nice and in a good location close to shopping and restaurants would have liked more towels in the room and a coffee pot a continental breckfast would have been appreciated
The owner/operators where fantastic. The location is very good as it is centrally located on main st. The shower curtain would not hold and subsequently the floor wood get soaked. Old school small round toilet was a bit of a throwback. Also the shower was very tight as was the bathroom as a whole

Exceptional customer service, especially accommodating our RV, and the indoor pool was a bonus.
- Excellent location - Rooms are very large, comfortable furniture and bedding, clean. MUCH better accomodation than I was expecting for the star rating. Walls are paper-thin. The neighbors left the TV on overnight, and we got to listen to everything they listened to. If this would annoy you, this is not the motel for you.
Very clean, staff were friendly & helpful.
Rooms were very clean, newly renovated, good water pressure, good hot water, big rooms. There was a breakfast room with good selection of breakfast items with staff bringing in more pastries at 5 mins before breakfast closed so everything was good. Great outdoor pool an great indoor pool. Makes one want to stay longer. The king size bed was great for me but my wife found it to be too hard for her to sleep on. We were on the first floor and could hear children running along the balcony at night and any jumping on the floor above us. But it was not a problem for us as the noise stopped before we went to sleep.
we were unable to stay because they did not honor our request for a handicap accessible room. very disappointed as it left us searching for a new place to stay.
In an area where economical means $100+ this place does a good job of providing a clean, safe location that is convenient to all that Hyannis and Cape Cod offer. Free light breakfast, easy access to a busy main street and responsive management Wifi sorta sucked, well, actually it sucked a lot.
Location was close proximity to the harbor where we had to catch the ferry. Room smelled like smoke and musty. A/C should have been kept on. Continental breakfast selections were inferior Continental room is tight, we had to bring back the food into our room to sit down.
The room smelled good and I liked the bathroom as it had somewhat of a European feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were in walking distance of Hyannis center, with lots of restaurants and the marina area. The room was basic and fairly quiet. The clientele spent a lot of time sitting with large parties in the parking lot. That was kind of strange. There's no gym. The breakfast didn't open until 8:00, and there wasn't much provided- hard boiled eggs, frozen waffles, juice, coffee from a machine, badges and cereal. Pretty crowded since everyone had to wait until 8:00 to eat. The hairdryer didn't work and the overhead lamp stopped working while we were there.
Location and value for money Receptionist sent us to the wrong ferry
Comfortable beds, indoor and outdoor pools Both my rooms smelled really bad, one of them has empty liquor bottles in the dresser and the room smelled like the previous person to stay there spilled rum and vodka all over the floor, when we told the hotel they said they would send a person to clean up. The person never arrived when we returned to the main office the offered a can of Lysol cleaning spray. Both rooms also had a faint smell of cigarettes
Redecorated rooms were attractive. Super comfortable beds. Friendly front desk staff. High prices, coupled with a $20 per night parking fee not disclosed until check-in. Poor housekeeping - our room not cleaned/serviced after our first night. High priced, poorly made drinks and VERY slow service at a not crowded hotel bar. Wet, dirty towels found in stairwell of our building entry on Sunday night were still there Monday morning. The parking lot is a cluttered mess of construction materials and caution tape. And while the front desk staff was quite friendly, it can't make up for no housekeeping service, outrageously priced, watery drinks, awful and expensive parking or a general sense of disorder in the facility. Would not recommend this hotel at all.
location, attitude of the staff , cleanness of every area of Hotel. I would stay at this Hotel again. .Also has ramps for the Handicap. Handicap spaces were not in front of the rooms, at least in the area that I stayed. Handicaps spaces were there but was not an easy accessible to the room. Regular car had better accessible to the room.
Walking distance to ferry and two good restaurants. Room was not arranged well. Inadequate elec. outlets. Bathroom door did not shut and bed linens were ill-fitting.
I love the location and have stayed many times because I thinks its the best location in Hyannis. As per usual, although it is amongst the most expensive places to stay in Hyannis, the bar staff treats you like they are doing you a favor by serving you. Extremely unfriendly and un-welcoming. We left during the day to find a place we would be treated better. Its unfortunate, if the staffs treatment and attitude towards customers matched the excellent location it would be the best place in town.
The position of the hotel is perfect for the ferry to the islands right across the road. Also a few restaurants and a lovely coffee shop doing great breakfasts and free wi fi. o my goodness our first room was so small we could hardly sit down after a meeting with the manager he moved us to a better room.No eating facilities within the hotel which we found very odd.
Friendly and helpful staff. Quite a difference between the hotel pictured on the Internet and the actual physical condition of the property. It isn't very modern. Kind of old motel in reality.
Bathroom was clean with plenty of plush towels and washcloths. Bed was comfortably with good white percale sheets and good pillows. Great location directly across the street from the HyLine ferry. Room was small with queen bed pushed against the wall in the corner of the room. Windows didn't open and older wall air conditioner unit was too noisy to leave on while trying to sleep. Access to the room was long, winding around buildings, up many stairs then down some more stairs. Made us wonder who could have designed such a difficult layout of rooms. At a minimum, hotel should offer bag service and an escort to the more difficult to access rooms.
Pool fire pit location is great, right across from harbor, can walk to main street. Rooms nice but shower dated. No phone in rooms, only way to reach front desk is to walk down not real convient at night. Bathroom in lobby unattended, when mentioned to front desk lack of supplies nothing was done. Cells phones at front desk is not a good idea for customer service.
Nothing Everything. Their website is highly misleading. The room was nasty and service was terrible. I was at a conference all weekend and was exhausted from virtually working all day and dreaded having to go back to that hotel.
Great location at harbor. Nice courtyard with seating.
The pool and restaurant were great The front desk staff was so rude when we were checking in, mumbling and giving attitude when I asked them to repeat themselves and acted like they were doing me a favor by checking me in. All the other staff were very friendly though.
Loved location and grounds. Mini-fridge in room. Would come back when had more time to enjoy seaside hotel experience and Hyannis town center. Rooms while clean were dated. Pedestal sinks, not enough outlets, could use desk, round table wasn't that useful to me. Front desk & restaurant/bar staff could be friendlier.
Didn't have a room upon check in....was given a room key and walked in on another family asleep. Eventually given a room that was dirty. Management is a disaster. Never going back to this place ....
Can't beat the location, walking distance to Hyannis center. Hotel is dated. Smells of must, chlorine and carpet cleaner, yet isn't that clean. Old and tired looking, needs an overhaul.
The room was fairly large and came with a fridge and a coffee maker. The hotel was clean and fairly quiet and was located on the main drag in Hyannis, MA. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is spread out and was a pretty far walk from the lobby to the room. That was pretty much the only problem. We enjoyed our stay.
Room was clean and the place was close to Main Street and the waterfront Shower was small the grab bar was in the way unless your skinny and I am not. The girls at the front desk did not know how to explain where the room was. They told me around the other side. I parked around the other side. Then walked in after five minutes to figure out the key card. And went up the stairs down the hall thru the next hallway up another set of stairs and one more small set of stairs and there was my room. Right above the front desk. If your older or have lots of luggage get a Sherpa for your bags or go on a trip to find your room first. The rolling luggage cart will do you no good. Only the front entrance has a ramp.
I thought the location was convenient. Staff was friendly. There was blood stains on the comforter and pillow cases. We checked out early because we didn't feel comfortable
The size of the bed & their heating system Yes there was no microwave
personal very nice, big rooms and the pools are great! Not enough plugs in the room... we couldn't use the fridge, the lamp and plug our cell phones....too bad!
Was in Hyannis for a wedding, found a great deal online that I couldn't pass up, upon arrival the staff was super friendly, the layout of the rooms are a little odd but oh well. Enjoyed the pool/hot tub which seemed a little dated but everything was great. This were a little dated, the pool area... The layout of the hotel was different- could have been easier to find our way to the room but oh well.
Good location close to bus terminal and visit the whole Cape Cod peninsula. Good breakfast buffet. Part of the hotel was under renovation.
Excellent location. Friendly staff. Easy to get to. Needs better breakfast options or partner with local restaurant to offer breakfast deals for those attending.
Very clean. Close to all good spots in Hyannis. In between Main Street and Harbor. Comfy king bed.
My family and I had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and the staff was wonderful.
the location in Hyannis harbor is GREAT !!! the owners need to invest some money into the place. the bathroom door did not close right, the wifi was difficult and the sliding glass door to get into the room did not lock easily. The screen sliding door did not lock at all !!!
Location was great. Walk to town, ferry landing, etc... Pool was good, although small it was clean enough and great to have a pool. It was fairly quiet as well given how close to town it was and we were there on a Saturday night. Really close to some nightlife. About a 10 minute walk to Hyannis Beach. The main entrance to each room was a glass sliding door, and locks seemed a little less than high security. It was hard to lock the door. The room itself was clean and had what we needed (beds, shower, toilet, TV), but was quite dated. I still think it was fairly decent value given what things cost in Hyannis at this time of year. During check in the front desk said that they had to "scan my driver's license and store it". I asked why they needed to scan and store it, how I could be sure it was safely stored, and what was the purpose of storing it if they had already verified it by looking at it. I offered to let them write down the details from the license, but I refused to let them scan it and the check in process was quite uncomfortable. They did let me check in, but only after repeatedly telling me that they had to scan it and this was their policy with no explanation of how it would be secure or why they needed it to be scanned and stored. In the end, they didn't scan it and never explained why they needed to do so. Parking was a struggle. Each room has spaces right in front of the room, but it seemed like everyone just parked everywhere. Even though we arrived only one hour after check in started (we arrived at 5pm), all four of the spaces in front of our two rooms were already taken and we had to park in front of another room about 100yards away around the corner in the other section of the hotel. Not a big deal, but had we arrived later there I suspect there would have been no parking available. It would be a good idea for at least one of the spaces in front of a room to be allocated to that room.
Friendly staff, location was good. basics were good. Good AC. Cosey swimming pool. Tourist season drove up prices to over $170, but motel was more like a $60. Add: Hooks in the bathroom, exhaust fan, more parking. Improve breakfast. Doors were rundown.
Hardly anything Kind of dumpy
Conveniently located at Hyannis Main Street with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was in great need of repairs and new blankets and curtains. The lock on the door required special "tricks" to work.
Location was excellent for exploring the area without a car. Hotel is in serious need of upgrading. Doors and windows don't fit properly, lamps are missing bulbs, the toilet seat had a hole in it, general feel of the room was dark and dingy.
It was a good place to stay. Everything was clean and working properly. Great location. Bed was comfy and the service was really nice as well.
The location and the price. It was right on Main Street and an easy walk to shops and restaurants.
the convenience to downtown Hyannis and the Melody Tent
The location was great! It was easy to walk to restaurants and museums in Hyannis and to the boat to Nantucket. The room was clean, and the breakfast was basic. The price was affordable. There was a parking attendant on weekends to ensure only motel guests parked there. They were doing repairs to the motel during reasonable hours.
Location for Hyannis and access to rest of the Cape very good. Hotel generally run down and very noisy from other clients. Lack of readily available information could have easily been resolved by a short info sheet in the room (such as TV operation, local restaurants, internet security number etc). Although i would stay there again, it gave me no reason to actively book again.
The Hotel was clean, however the rooms need a little updating. Curtains fallining down and door locks not always working correctly. The staff was willing to accomodate and the hotel was just recently bought by new owners. They are planning on remodeling this winter. Overall not a bad place to stay for the price and location was great for shopping and dining. No small shampoo or conditioner in bathrooms.
It was clean and the staff was very nice. The saying you get what you pay for is true. The rooms were like a step back in time "60" decor and rough around the edges but for one night it was fine.
The hotel is in a central location making it easy to “do things” without driving. The hotel needs some updating.
