Pros: Jane and Neil are great hosts. The house has beautiful rooms and a lovely porch. Excellent breakfast.
Pros: We had an outstanding experience here. The owners are the nicest people and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was excellent and they accommodate any dietary requirements.
Pros: Good breakfast was included. The hosts were great and helpful but not overly present. Great location.
Pros: Our second stay , gets better every time.
Pros: The property is clean and amenities are modern despite being a Victorian house. The yummy homemade pastries were a treat after a long hike. Neil and Jane are great hosts.
Pros: A Treasure and great Victorian house!
Pros: Perfectly located to go to Hyde Park and the Culinary Institute of America. The décor and hospitality were impeccable. Breakfast was superb!
Pros: The hosts have been running the B&B long enough to perfect the hospitality level. The breakfast was excellent - home cooked, with a couple of choices and taken into account the tenants restrictions. It was served with class and warmth.
Pros: Location and breakfast were both excellent but the best part of the place was the proprietors. They were some of the most hospitable people we have ever met. It was a joy to talk with them.
Pros: The owners of the B&B, Jean and Neil is very hard working, friendly and helpful. Periodic, Victorian house with original elements. Beautiful details, if you like traditional houses. The surrounding is typical american suburban, which we appreciated. Beautiful houses and very well kept gardens. Very easy to find and near (10-15 minutes drive) from the historical Hudson Valley (Roosevelt Historic Site, Vanderbilt Mansion, etc). Breakfast is around a large table with the other hotel guest (4 rooms altogether). It was lovely to exchange ideas. Jean freshly bakes everything (muffins, cakes, frittatas, etc) while Neil helps with serving and clearing up.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
Pros: Lovely old house, friendly older couple, home-baked items and lovely breakfast. Good temperature control in the room (nice a/c). Lots of extras and nice towels, etc.
Cons: Some wallpaper not to my taste, but everybody's different

Pros: I liked the value, cleanliness and helpful staff. The people couldn't be nicer.
Cons: The walls were not very well insulated. Could hear people next door.
Pros: Location very convenient to CIA. Very cute breakfast room. Everything you need to get your day started.

Pros: The front desk staff were incredible! Their response time to any concerns was rapid. They took excellent care of us!
Cons: When we said that the pool temp was too cold, front desk said we will address it but it will take hours to warm. So, we knew it would be perfect in the morning
Pros: Hotel was very clean and kids loved the pool. The beds were so comfy and the curtains kept the room so dark we slept in and when I checked my phone to see what time it was thinking it was in the middle of the night just to find out it was 9:00 am. Best sleep I ever had. Recommend setting an alarm clock.
Cons: Only one elevator
Pros: The room is spacious and very comfortable. Everything is very clean on the hotel facilities. Location is great, nearby many restaurants.
Cons: We were very happy with our stay.
Pros: The hotel was very modern and bright. Rooms very clean and staff very friendly. The location was ideal for visiting area attractions in Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park.

Pros: Staff was AMAZING!! So friendly and welcoming!
Cons: Nothing. We liked everything!
Pros: Good location, easy check-in/out. Friendly service and good breakfast.
Pros: It was exactly as described and expected. Staff was friendly.
Cons: There was some leftover trash from previous clients under the bed
Pros: The lady at the check-in was excellent and helpful.
Cons: The cost.
Pros: Rooms were spacious
Cons: Breakfast could have been better.
Pros: Very clean
Cons: No outdoor pool.
Pros: Convenient to nearby food places and shopping center along with drugstore
Pros: I had also stayed recently at the Holiday Inn up the Rd ( about a mile away ) the previous night and the stark contrast between the two hotels was obvious. I stayed in an upgraded room in the Holiday inn ( yes a suite sort of ) that was fabulous in every way . AND IT WAS $65 cheaper than the room I had at the Hampton Inn. Everything was just about the basics at the Hampton Inn and I mean the basics, very disappointing and to be charged more money than a suite at a competitor was the ultimate insult.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. One of the best continental breakfasts I've had. Staff were very pleasant. Nice size rooms and comfortabble beds.
Cons: There really wasn't anything that we didn't like other than I thought the elvators were a little slow when we were waiting for them.
Pros: The room/ hotel was clean. Staff was attentive when needed things
Cons: we paid extra for a room with "spa tub" and It did not work , extra money paid why?!
Pros: Clean spacious rooms and great breakfast
Cons: Issue with booking.com communicating room request and mixing up last name on room reservation
Pros: The room was huge, very clean and comfortable

Pros: Staff friendly literally took 1 min to check in. Breakfast was awesome lots of choices. Room extremely clean. Will go again when in the area every couple of months.
Pros: the staff from front desk to housekeeping & groundskeepers are incredibly polite and personable. They are almost like family. also the mattress and pillows are fantastic. i look forward to sleeping!
Cons: no complaints whatsoever
Pros: But the breakfast was a game changer. Good coffee, a pancake making station with nutella (hell yes!), and Silk drink products :)
Cons: Our room was not cleaned well; spill spots on the furniture, old rug, and crushed pretzels along side the bed frame that did not get vacuumed. So gross.
Pros: Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast selection was great. Location was convenient. Pool was clean as well as the room and bathroom.
Cons: Limited bath towels each day.
Cons: access to shower was very ackward…
Pros: Location was great and staff super friendly.
Cons: Air conditioning wasn't working in halls, elevator and not great in room either. I saw roaches in the main hallway.
Pros: Great staff Predictable comfort level
Cons: Swimming pool area looked a bit untidy. No towels to be found. There was a cloth dryer on our floor. Many people used it. But the exhaust was not working 100% right . So it was venting in the 4th floor hallway generating a strong gas exhaust smell
Pros: In a very convenient location. The suite room was great! Definitely worth the extra money. Staff was all very nice. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
Pros: The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean. The breakfast has a wide variety and was amazing. The location was close to restaurants and stores. We'd recommend this hotel.
Cons: The pool was a little run down.
Pros: Staff recommended me best restaurant of neighborhood, and they were really nice. Room is spacious enough. Bath room is clean. Breakfast is good.
Pros: The woman working at the front desk was very symptathetic about the incident below. She was understanding and provided me with some pruell to try to cleanse my belongings. I appreciated her and her understanding of my disgust.
Cons: When I returned the first day after my room was "cleaned" My personal possessions were moved and placed on the area for the luggage to be placed. that was disgusting since even my luggage had been on streets, airlines and trains. It is far from clean. my towels and soap were not replaced even though I had not been given an option for that.
Pros: The suite was beautiful and very clean
Cons: Nth it was a nice stay

Pros: The staff was in was incredibly nice they even brought us a gift to our room I would definitely stay there again
Cons: It was hard for what I said to find vegan options for breakfast
Pros: I was very impressed with everything in this hotel, very pleasant, quiet and local. I cannot wait to come back again
Pros: Good variety at breakfast each morning. Staff was very nice, but we did hear the manager use a few obscenities when speaking to kitchen staff (in the kitchen), but only this morning. The room sizes were great. All Front Desl staff eager and happy to help in any way.
Cons: The hide-a-bed mattress. Just terrible quality; and the couches (we had family members staying in a few different rooms) were very low to the ground in every room. A chair broke, we asked for a replacement, and it never came. Also, we NEVER had housekeeping come clean our room. No one showed up on Thanksgiving; my husband accidentally cancelled the lady that came to clean on Friday. He quickly called back when he realized his mistake, and we were told someone would come clean it, and they did not show. We had overflowing trash, dirty dishes in sink (we were told that dish soap would be delivered, but it never came) and a large amount of dirty towels at check out, and I felt bad for the staff that would have to do so much extra work.
Pros: Comfortable bed and clean rooms.
Cons: the heat was a bit noisy. other than that I was extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend it.
Pros: It's a great place, thoroughly thought about everything one might need. The layout of kitchen, living and sleeping space is wonderful. They also have a very nice outside area for grilling or just chilling for the guests use. TV carries HBO.
Cons: Can't say I didn't.
Cons: Breakfast - it would be nice to real fresh local bagels for breakfast. It is NY. Thanks!
Pros: Breakfast was nice
Cons: The toilet in my room was clogged before I even used it. The hot tub in the pool area was broken. I called desk and was told “thank you for letting us know” then I was hung up on. Another guest said it was broken since the day before. Very disappointed. Was really looking forward to that.
Pros: I like staying at the Marriott chain.
Cons: There were no sheets for sofa bed. Cable box fell off the top of TV while we were out of room. Looked like it was attached with command strips. Breakfast was not good. The smell of the construction that was taking place was incredibly strong. Was concerned about driving over a nails in parking lot because of the way the dumpster was and things around it.
Pros: I did not eat breakfast.
Cons: I was charged twice, I voiced my concerns to the lady who checked me out, and her response was she is going to call the cops and I should not come back and stay there.
Pros: I loved how spacious the room was. I also liked the tea tree products in the shower. The breakfast was also fantastic.
Cons: One of the women that was working the front desk wasn’t that friendly.

Pros: Setting was beautiful.
Pros: Clean & comfortable, decent sized room, mostly quiet, plenty of cable stations, good breakfast, apparently there was a happy hour but we weren’t told about it!
Cons: Location ended up not being terribly convenient (my fault not theirs), toilet needed to be reinstalled, bed very noisy whenever I moved at all Would have liked to have been told about happy hour :)
Cons: Water pressure was weak and we shared the room was tiny ants. good thing these ants were confined to the writing-table and t.v. stand. A bit annoying but still love my stay.
Pros: This hotel was a surprise find. I booked online not really knowing the area around the hotel. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends and family.
Cons: Could use a good out door power cleaning around the outdoor seating area.
Pros: People were nice and helpful. We enjoyed getting our breakfast outside in front of the river. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: Maybe a bit too expensive for what you get.
Pros: I did like the view.
Cons: It all could/ should have been better for the prices they were charging!!!! Sheets were scratchy. Bath towels were plain awful. Breakfast food was dismal!
Pros: Rooms clean.
Cons: Disappointed with appearance of lobby. Also, the rooms were clean but dated
Pros: The front desk clerk was very helpful and gave me a couple of free bottled waters as their vending machines were cash only. I just had a card and really didn't feel like going back out to get something.
Cons: They didn't have the AC on in the corridors to the guest rooms. It was unpleasant during a heat wave. Breakfast wasn't very good, very minimal to say the least.
Pros: The spa tub was very relaxing . The room was spacious and clean , it was put together wonderfully can’t wait to book with you guys again
Pros: Our room was clean, comfortable, and pleasantly decorated. Breakfast buffet was pretty good.
Cons: The room was further from town than I had anticipated. What was supposed to be a “water view” didn’t amount to much. Windows and outside of the building are due for cleaning.
Pros: Great staff. Very helpfull
Pros: Beautiful location.
Cons: The pillows and sheets felt broken down and old.

Pros: The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the eggs.
Cons: The furnishings in the hotel were older. It was clear that it hadn’t been updated in a long time and had the smell of “old motel room” from my childhood.
Pros: Stayed here to attend a wedding in Poughkeepsie. The shuttle service to the wedding venue was great.
Cons: The hotel is in need of an upgrade. The room we were in had a mirrored sliding door on the closet and it was cracked at the bottom. Bathroom was dated and worn but everything in the bathroom functioned. The breakfast was in a banquet room with large tables. The buffet was basic. There was nothing special about it and being in a banquet room it was windowless. This set up was not like any other hotel I have stayed in that offered breakfast with the stay.
Pros: Location to benue6
Cons: Room to crowded with furniture, not enough towels
Pros: Only decent hotel if you need to stay downtown. Staff was excellent.
Cons: Somewhat pricey - but they cater to weddings etc., so if you're staying on a weekend you'll pay for it.
Cons: The hotel was filthy and the bed was awful.
Pros: It was clean and serviceable. Breakfast was very good. Staff didn't seem to be around. We didn't find the rack with suggestions of where to go in the city until too late. - would have been better to have info in the room.
Pros: The staff were lovely .
Pros: The food at the bar was very good.
Cons: The a/c in our room hardly worked even after an adjustment by maintenance. No exhaust fan in bathroom.
Cons: Get your amenities on the same grounds
Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating. Central location without much competition in the area.
Cons: Old & musty carpets. Generally dreary and old decor. Desperately needs a facelift.
Pros: Free parking
Cons: Staff at front desk not helpful - rude & argumentative Only focused on big wedding party

Not fancy but clean and modest. Lots of folks going to weddings in the area or staying for short trips for business stay here. Some of the Roosevelt Estates are literally across the street. A really good diner, Eveready, is a 5 min walk.
Pros: Very clean, good breakfast, comfortable beds.
Cons: We had a room with 2 double beds. I thought that meant “full size,” but I was wrong. The beds are not much wider than a twin. We managed fine, but we were definitely cozy.
Pros: Breakfast was ok, location was ok.
Cons: Small spider was in bathroom, old socks under chair.
Pros: COMFORTABLE BED AND CLEAN.
Cons: NO ELEVATOR.

Pros: Price was good.
Cons: Lobby area and stair carpets were stained. Hall was warm. AC in room didn't work so great. Room was fine. Beds seemed clean. Bathroom was clean. Staff NEEDED to come up the steps as we were going down with bags. Not that wide a staircase.
Pros: The rooms where recently updated, modern, and clean. Very nice and above my expectations. Modern bathroom, nice thick towels. Nice bedding. The breakfast offered a bit more than I thought and was most satisfactory between coffee, various hot and cold cereals, yogurt, bread and mufffins. Worked for me!
Cons: The lobby and hall rugs were rather old, worn and stained. Made me hesitant initially about what the room would be like. But as noted, the room was really nice!
Pros: Nice quiet clean room. Fluffy towels. Humidifier helped a/c.
Cons: All was good!
Pros: The staff were very nice The room was fairly modern looking and felt clean.
Cons: The hallway smelled. It was likely the rug. Don't know why hotels have rugs anyway . I also like how you can have dogs but someone's dog started barking at 6:30 am on my stay and kept barking.
Pros: So, so small cramped space, tables poor
Cons: $$$ way to expensive.
Cons: Breakfast could have been a little bit more a bagel with cream cheese and every other morning a boil egg would have been something to look forward to. I booked for a room with disability access roll in shower and it did not happen which was very inconvenient.
Pros: The front desk clerk was very pleasant.
Cons: It was dirty. The stairs were filthy. The room had clearly not been vacuumed. The entire place had a bad, stale, sour odor. There were some very sketchy people staying there. Noisy. Would have left, but no rooms available elsewhere
Pros: The room was very, very, clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. An excellent room for the money.
Pros: Clean - great A/C ! Good location !
Pros: I didn't have breakfast. Location was perfect for me
Pros: My husband and I loved the convenient location of this facility. It also was very close to some really good restaurants which was great.
Cons: There were a few leaks in the ceiling when we were walking in the hallway to our room. Also, despite the hotel being clean it did have a stale odor which may have come from the few dogs that were staying on our floor.
Cons: walls, doors, handles dirty . Breakfast 1 day was dry cereal, no milk, and toast. The other days there were some more options. I asked for cancelation on day 1 as i had booked for 3 nights. No one ever replied to me. Staff unfriendly. Def not 2.5*

Pros: Breakfast was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Location was good for me.
Cons: No suggestions.
Pros: The location was very convenient for our planned activities. The refrigerator was a good size and worked. There was sufficient hot water. The towels were sufficient.
Cons: The a/c unit filter was so dirty, we needed to bring it to the front desk to be cleaned. There was black mold around the sink., The layout was like a highway motel from the 50s, so our only window looked out over the parking lot. The room was kinda dark and dreary. The showerhead did not function well. The mattresses were uncomfortable.
Pros: My room my clean as well as the bathroom I always feel welcomed staff was great like always good food as well
Cons: I honestly have no complaints this stay I would recommend this to others good WiFi it was quite witch is a plus
Pros: Staff was very pleasant to talk to. Location was perfect. Room was just right for what we needed. Firsr floor and easy parking.Would definitely come back again.
Cons: The lighting was little dark in the room (we are senior citizens).
Cons: It smelled too much of smoke in there bed sheets were not clean I might as well just get a motel for the same thing but cheaper never coming here again
Pros: Breakfast was okay, not great but satisfactory
Cons: Not sure why but it was very expensive everywhere we looked the night we stayed, it was the best choice for what was available
Pros: Everything was fine
Pros: The women at the front desk was very accommodating. That’s about it
Cons: The rooms smelled disgusting, there were holes in the sheet and to top it all off of you lift up your mattress you might find a switch blade under your bed.
Pros: Rooms open to the outside rather than an internal hallway.
Cons: The room had a concerning odor of damp and musty that I thought might be mold. There were large black ants in the bathroom. The TV was analog only with limited remote so couldn’t identify programming.

Pros: Staff very helpful
Cons: Very clean
Pros: Staff. Location
Cons: Odor in stairwell leading to room

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, very clean room.
Cons: No, everything was perfect.
Pros: It was really cheap.
Cons: Something bit me in the room and now my ankle has been sore and swollen for 3 days. A spider? something more nefarious? i'll likely never know.
Cons: Poor breakfast, bad bed, wall to thin
Pros: Everything met my expectations. Great service at the front desk. Clean room. The price was excellent!!
Cons: No fresh fruit on the free continental breakfast was disappointing.
Pros: It is close to my family's house.
Cons: There is no maintenance being done on this hotel on a weekly basis. The tub drain is very slow so after taking a shower you have to wash your feet off because they're full of soap water, They do not mop the bathroom floor, or vacuum the rugs
Cons: Difficult to get into coming from the east. Even harder to leave and go west.
Cons: Im still waiting for 4 hrs to speak with a manager and she is not available to discuss about a potential 1 day refund because i had to checkout earlier
Pros: they sell wine and beer
Cons: the bed was awful. if i can't get a half decent night's sleep at a facility for sleeping because the bed is as hard as a sheet of metal....everything else doesn't really make up for it. the floor was also grimy, and room smelled of cigarettes

Pros: We had all the basics and then some great management and we saved a bundle
Cons: We had all the basics and then some great management and we saved a bundle
Pros: Everything in the room worked well: TV, WiFi, and AC.
Cons: No ice machine available.
Pros: mattresses were firm
Cons: Motel staff called us three times- first checking when we arriving, and two more times why we are not there which was pretty annoying. There was no condition in reservation that we had to be in motel by certain time.
Pros: Room was very reasonably priced. Clean but very old. Needs some renovations. For a one night stay, it was fine. Had a fridge and microwave. Floors were not carpeted which was nice because there were no worries about bugs living in the carpets.
Cons: Cracks in walls covered with packing tape. A good replastering would have been better.
Cons: Over all where I was and the walls in room and the hearter in the room to keep warm
Pros: Perfect for one night
Pros: Large, very clean room. Furniture and beds in good condition. Ati the manager is very fluent in English. and takes her job very serious. We became friends quickly. I plan to book Atlas Motel the next time I am in the area.
Cons: Every thing was good. Even 1/4 mile from a diner and 1/2 from the Walkers Bridge across the Hudson. What a wonderful walk.
Cons: It was dated it needs updated
Pros: Cute vintage-style road motel, my favorite kind, the staff (? owner I bet) was very friendly and helpful. Like I said, vintage, nothing fancy, but extremely clean; our room had frig, microwave, very nice modern TV, supplemental heating and cooling (which we did not need). Personally I like avoiding the corporate chain type places, and opting for some character.

Cons: Room was dirty in the corners and around the moldings. Paint was all scuffed. Ugly and dirty drop ceiling. Tons of mold on tile over shower. Small room with dated furniture and bed.
Cons: The place seem old. Stayed with my 11year old son and he was not happy with room. I guess tou get what you paid for.
Pros: Very convenient location to Poughkeepsie and the Walkway over the Hudson bridge. Despite being on Rt 9 the rooms were quiet. Continental breakfast was bagels/cream cheese, donuts, coffee.
Cons: Only one window in rooms, got a bit stuffy overnight. Across the street and in the mall next door are reasonably priced eateries. And the CIA restaurants are less that 1/2 hour up Rt 9.
Pros: The price.
Cons: Everything else.
Pros: I liked how close it was to a gas station, since I had to buy beer a few times in the middle of the night. The breakfast was minimal but suitable. The mattresses were stained but the sheets were clean! Plenty of parking, lots of rooms available.
Cons: Everything in the rooms was long overdue for an upgrade and our room didn't have an iron. It was clean but smelled dusty.
Pros: The front desk guy was friendly
Cons: The place was filthy. I refused to stay. It was so bad I didn't care about my loss of money. I couldn't get out there quick enough.
Pros: Location. Water for shower hot.
Cons: Very old and worn - needs improvement. Noisy neighbors. Breakfast is coffee, tea, bagels or white powdered donuts.
Pros: At first we were mortified, it seemed abandoned. Our room was was dated. It was fine for one night for the price. Location was good.
Cons: Wi-Fi didnt work, place felt abandoned. Heat wasn't very hot. The place is old and hasn't been updated in a long time.
Pros: I liked that the roof didn't leak and the toilet worked
Cons: I'm not a complainer. Do no stay at this motel Scary place, run down and they got me for $130
Cons: run down waiting for a teardown
