Pros: I have experience a lot of luxury hotel , but in this hotel I found them very helpful .The second night for me in the hotel I had an emergency case where my son chocked with food I called the reception and they were there at my door step helping me out like one of their family member I appreciate that . And recommend it to all my friends.

Cons: Rooms were not sound proofed and we could hear quiet music next door and everything in the hallway. The beds also rolled far too easily and we're constantly shifting

Pros: Perfect location, very close to the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, and Ponte Vecchio. Beautiful room, with lots of luxurious little touches. The view I had was very good. I will forever enjoy the memory of opening my windows to listen to the sounds of Florence below. The rooftop bar was wonderful. The view from the top was great and the service from the bar staff was also top notch.
Honestly, this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Italy, and the biggest reason why is the staff. The cleaning staff keeps everything looking sharp and tidy. My room was spotless. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful with any request I made, helping me find a jewelry shop off Ponte Vecchio, getting taxis for me, making reservations and recommendations, and doing it all with a smile and in a very friendly manner. They are the shining jewel of this establishment.
Cons: The only thing I can think of that wasn't absolutely perfect is the wifi range. In many places, I could only get two bars, but I could get three in many places as well, so this is a minor problem.
Pros: The hotel staff was amazing. Rachel at the front desk helped us in every way. The rest of the front desk staff were all fantastic.
The upgraded room was deeply thoughtful.
I would recommend hotel very highly.
Pros: Great value. Great location. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Very nice room!
Pros: Location in central Florence is perfect for exploring the city. Staff is helpful and attentive.
Pros: Staff, room service, breakfast, accommodations, but ask for extra pillows. Also, elevators are super slow, but do not despair as other facilities make up for it. Do not walk with luggage to hotel is the only holdback as streets are tough for luggage. Center to sightseeing. As the saying goes, "do not judge a book by its cover", as this hotel's small corner entrance does not do the interior justice. It is truly a **** hotel. No gimmick.
Pros: Everything!! Accommodations, location, charm, Comfort, Cleanliness & kind /helpful staff. Just perfect! Plus the amazing quality breakfast! Would stay there again & again!

Staff was so, so accommodating. Loved the hotel bar, the bartender was amazing. They have happy hour every night too, and it was great fun.

Cons: The hotel and kayak booking experience was I'm my mind fraudulent. On booking, I noticed they booked the wrong month from my request. Many phone calls to both booking agent and hotel within hours of the booking and no one was willing to do anything to fix the error. But the certainly kept my money. Horrible experience. Won't use kayak again and wouldn't recommend hotel because they were totally unwilling to fix the reservation even though it was still months away.
Pros: Great location, nice rooms, decent breakfast, very reasonable rates. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Would be nice to have an electric kettle in the room, so we wouldn`t have to ask the hotel to bring hot water to the room to make tea.

You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the coffee shop/café is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. Rooms at this upscale hotel offer flat-screen TVs, minibars, and room service.
Cons: Had to friend Hotel get into internet, every time logged in and very slow
Pros: Love the location of this hotel - very close to Pitti Palace and Boboli gardens, as well as the Ufizzi. I love the area and literally seeing the Boboli garden house from the breakfast table. The breakfast is pretty nice quality and the view from the terrace is one of the nicest in Florence. The hotel has also adopted two friendly cats that laze on the terrace. The staff has always been terrific.
Cons: I did not like the noise this time. I have stayed at this hotel before, but on upper floors. This time I was on the second floor and the street noise of the vendors setting up at 5 am, and people stumbling and singing back from the bars late into the night was more than I'd experienced previously. The two things that were upsetting this time, were 1) a fellow patron across the hall woke me up at 2 am on my first night there as he spoke loudly into his cell phone for 20 solid minutes, then again at 2:30 another call and again at 3 am a third. he apparently didn't want to bother the woman who was staying with him, who complained loudly, so he stepped into the hallway to take his calls right in front of my door, and proceeded to literally yell into his phone like there was a bad NASA connection to Mars. The second thing that was pretty bad this time was it seemed that the cleaning staff arrived at 5- 5:30 am every morning and proceeded to walk around directly above, sorting out their carts for the day. We really like this hotel, but if we have to endure this kind of noise, we will find another favorite place.
Pros: Location and free breakfast
Cons: All good
The historic Hotel Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio is located in Florence, Italy, two blocks from the Pitti Palace and four blocks from the Uffizi Gallery. Florence Vespucci Airport is 10 kilometers away.

Today, it is located on the corner of two busy streets, surrounded by shops and cafés, and just steps from Ponte Vecchio. Two roof terraces boast views across Florence.
Hotel Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio offers guests a complimentary buffet breakfast. Located on the 5th floor, the breakfast room has floor-to-ceiling windows facing the city. The 86 soundproofed guestrooms are decorated in bright reds and yellows with contemporary furnishings and double-glazed windows. Rooms have air conditioning, satellite TVs, minibars, and tiled bathrooms with bath/shower combinations. Free WiFi is provided.
Pros: The location was great and very quiet. Although the bed was a little hard, it was beautiful as was the room. The staff was great as was the service.
Most horrible hotel we have slayed in Italy. I do not know how it got 4 star rating? It was bad then a road side motel. The room was very small and poorly finished. Paint pealing in the bathroom. Leaky faucets and lot of plumbing noise.
Cons: Rooms was lousy and old, paint peeling bathroom leaking.
Located in a strategic position less than 0.6 mi from the train station and less than 1.2 mi from the historic center, the Hotel Kraft has 78 rooms finely furnished with antique furniture or modern interior design. The Terrazza Rossini restaurant provides a spectacular view of Florence's historic center. The American Bar is open throughout the year and offers a light meal service. The hotel boasts a pool on the panoramic terrace, which is heated in autumn/winter and equipped with a hydromassage system.
Pros: The staff at Helvetia Bristol could not have been warmer and more accommodating during my four night stay. Their warm welcomes and spot-on suggestions were greatly appreciated. I love this hotel and will definitely return. It is a historic boutique hotel (don't expect large rooms). The location cannot be beat in central Florence.
Cons: The rooms are small and in need of a little love (new carpet).
Pros: The location is perfect. 10-15 minute walk to everything, but quiet location. Service like one does not find anymore. Worth the money.
Pros: Cappuccino. Staff was understanding.
Cons: The rooms next to the street are noisy because of the late night bars and at this time of year you can't have AC in the rooms because one system works the entire building. If you are hot or uncomfortable you have to open a window which just lets the noise in. Street cleaners, and trash service comes by at 5am which is nuts! Breakfast was blah...Single room was a closet and horrible shower. Im in shape and didn't fit in the shower.
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Breakfast buffet and some rooms noisy

A rooftop terrace and a seasonal outdoor pool are offered, and rooms at this upscale hotel get the details right with bathrobes and slippers.
Pros: Easy to get to many things tourist of city, friendly staff that helped change rooms, breakfast was convenient. This isn't by any means a four star , but what you get for price is good.
Cons: This is Italy so be prepared for a room to smell of smoke. The pillows were incredibly hard and compact.
