The car smelled so bad like cigarettes. I drove with the windows down a lot of the time. I also had a tire that was leaking air and I had to pay at a gas station to fill it up. It went from 38 psi to 23 psi in about 9 hours.

First and foremost when I arrived there, they did not have the car that I reserved and instead of try to accommodate me, they tried to give me a minivan. It was for my son’s eighth grade ball. I reserved a Tesla or something similar but a minivan to accommodate me. No no apology was given or anything I never reserve or rent from them again.

This was the worst experience I’ve experienced with Avis/Budget. I normally book through the app but decided to use a 3rd party app. The truck was dirty and when asked for it to be cleaned, it was agin returned dirty after waiting 30 minutes. That’s an additional 30 minutes to the wait to get the truck. The truck had a broken taillight, dents & scratches all over it and broken light on the side mirror. When I cleaned the steering wheel with my wipes, they were literally brown with dirt.
Staff members at the enterprise in Jackson Mississippi told me after getting to the airport pick up place that kayak had moved my reservation to a location 15 minutes away in Brandon Mississippi. This caused me over the course of my trip much inconvenience and $60-$70 worth of cab rides getting back-and-forth to the other rental car place and the airport. I do not believe the kayak moved my reservation. I believe that the people at enterprise did this. I would very much appreciate it if kayak could tell me what happened. Thank you and if I do not receive any response to this from kayak, I will not use your service in the future.

We rented a van for the seven of us and when we got there they said they had no van and had no clue when they would get one. After waiting for an hour to see if one would show up, they told us they were not going to get one today. Our only option was to get a smaller car, but they would not give any discount for the smaller vehicle. To be charged the same amount for a smaller car and two of our group having to take an Uber was an awful experience.

I had to wait over an hour for a rental car at the rental counter. The ladies were nice enough but apparently they have no cars to rent/ had to get some pulled up from another lot. Having to wait over an hour for a rental car when you have an existing reservation is an unacceptable system failure.

The receptionist at the desk was unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. My online reservation was unable to be fulfilled when arriving at the pick up site. I was told there were no availabilities and she wouldn’t even help me figure out how to get a car. It was handled very unprofessionally and it was all a waste of an hour of my time.

15 customers waited 1 1/2 hours for a car! It was unbelievable. People were furious! Many had meetings and events that they were going to be late for. It is a small poorly run airport and the rental system is pitiful. It would have been better to uber to a rental place away from the airport.

There was only one employee at the counter and the line was ridiculous to start off when I got the car it smelled like marijuana at the top of all you guys price gouge for gas charging 1099 a gallon without notice there was no transparency in regards to how much you guys charge for gas I will never again use this company!
