Pros: Had to report drug paraphernalia being left in car. Drop off took a long time.Cons: Many things. Car was filthy inside and out. Pickup was rushed. Customer service phone number was a joke. Crack pipe and lighters under seat. Cigarette ash everywhere. Car stunk etc.

Rental good, car seats not so goodPros: The car itself was good, service also very good, polite, friendly, etc.Cons: We rented car seats to make travelling with two kids a little easier. We needed one car seat for an infant, and one for a toddler. We were given two very cheap models (not surprising, but still a little disappointing). The infant bucket seat didn’t have easily adjustable straps, so I couldn’t loosen and tighten them without flipping the seat upside down - which obviously I didn’t do when getting my baby in and out of the car. The toddler car seat was terrible. I was given a booster seat instead of a real car seat with five-point harness. My daughter is a small 3 year old (under 30 lbs, only 3ft tall) so a booster was neither comfortable, nor safe, nor legal. In the future, I will definitely not rent car seats with this company again, which will make me rethink renting with them as the convenience factor is highly affected. Also, I really think car rental staff should be up to date on car seat laws, so that the employees could have seen that this car seat was not the right fit.

Pros: Service at pickup was excellent.Cons: Pickup spot was a bit of a walk from the baggage claim area but not a big deal. It might be helpful if that detail was listed somewhere, would help people with disabilities plan for it.

Pros: Car drove nice. It was comfortable. Good gas mileage. Held our two large pieces of luggage.Cons: When we attempted to pickup our reserved car at the Memphis airport at 3pm, they had no cars. I was told to return the next morning at 6am to ensure a car.I returned the next morning at 6:15am for a car. It took 45 minutes. The car was inundated with cigarette smoke. The cars are suppose to be non-smoking cars. I could not get another car. I drove in the smokey car for 7 days. Worst experience. I'll never rent from Thrifty again. The company didn't even refund me a day's rental. Unbelievable!

Pros: Despite having a reservation they had no cars. After waiting on the ground in the parking garage for an hour, gave up and rented at 2x the price from Avis. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.Cons: When you make a reservation, it is so that you will have a car. Thrifty just burned me and every other traveler I talk to.

Cons: We arrived an hour late due to circumstances beyond our control. As we arrived, we were told that they had closed at 2:00, though that was not mentioned anywhere in any of our email confirmations. Do you worker was rude and we had to rent from another company, even though we had already paid for our rental.

Pros: Car was nice! Which I suppose is the most important part. Clean, odor-free, got a size upgrade, which as a 6’3” man I appreciated. Drop-off was easy and the employee at the Jackson location couldn’t have been nicer.Cons: It literally took longer for me to pick up my car in Memphis than my incoming flight from Atlanta took. It was well over an hour before keys were placed in my hands due to a slow moving line at the pickup counter (my representative was lovely, but had to constantly stop service to assist the other representative. Lovely gesture, slowed down service), and then once I got upstairs to the pickup counter, the crew in the garage could not have been any less helpful. My car was ready, but I had to wait another 30-45 minutes in the line just to be talked to to simply pick up my keys. I hate being that sort of Karen, but there is a line where the service becomes so terrible I can’t keep it to myself. Especially after having to travel last second for a family emergency, this lack of service and consideration for my time and business will keep me from booking Budget in the future unless it’s the only option available, especially at Memphis.

No help to get a different vehicle. I ending up getting the same class vehicle for about the same price on the same day via Alamo. My company will never use Budget again.

Cons: Arrived at the rental counter to be informed that I would have to wait 60-90 minutes for a car to be brought from the dispatch center as they did not store cars on site, and the car wouldn't get there before counter closed at 5pm, so I'd need to come back the following day. I had a reservation.

Pros: Each budget location is franchised and their computer systems do not connect. Memphis gave me a wrong reservation number on the paperwork and Chicago could not find my reservation so they did not want to let me return the car. They told me it was up to me to get the correct information fromMemphis.Cons: It has been 3 days since I left the car at budget and they still did not close the reservation because they said Chicago's computer is not able to access information from Memphis.

Pros: Staff were friendly at pickup and drop off. I rented a compact but got a brand new 2019 suv.Cons: Location in Mem was a long walk, taking us awhile to find the rental desk. There was a small pile of trash and a dip cup in the back of the car. We got a suv that didn't have a full tank and got 23 Mpg instead of a compact @40mpg causing three fuel stops when only one should have been necessary.

FilthyCons: Seats were disgusting. Smell was absolutely horrid! Finally, the third car was ok. All the dashes were dirty, cup holders, floorboards. I wasn't the only one who complained about filth. I also wasn't told about a $200 deposit held on my card until returned. I usually rent from Dollar and their cars, cloth seats and all, are immaculate.
