Upgraded to an suv in Jackson Hole plus a very good rate for a different pickup/drop off location. Like the remote start feature of Ford in cold weather environment and the extra space in suv. Counter agent in Jackson Hole was extremely helpful and courteous as was the young man who checked us in at return at the Denver Airport.Cons:

Car was 1/2 full of gas at pickup. I notified Alamo 800 number and at drop off. I was assured this would be corrected (I also returned with 1/2 full tank). Sadly, I was charged for not returning full anyway. Alamo customer service isn’t poor and disorganized. Very difficult to reach a live person who can complete the requested task. Fight through the answering system only to get passed on or told the issue is covered (when I see now on my statement, it was not corrected)10.0 Wonderful

I reserved a Nissan Rogue but they played bait and switch when we arrived and tried to stick us with a smaller car. Ended up having to pay extra to get a car where my head didn’t rub the headliner. Woman at the fest was condescending and rude.4.4 Mediocre

The price online was $39 a day and I paid $22 for insurance. When I got there they had me pay $98 more dollars on top of those fees I already paid because I’m under 24 so there was a $25 fee and the rest of the $98 was for extra insurance apparently, so for being under 25 they make you pay almost $100 extra just for insurance, my total rental price for one day was $160 which was at least $40 more than what several other car rental places quoted me for with also being under 25. Maybe a good option for those 25 & above, but if not, rent from somewhere else! I would have rented from somewhere else if I could have, but it was 5am when I picked up and didn’t feel like trying to find a ride to another car rental place and I just wanted to get started with my day.9.6 Wonderful
