Pros: Great hotel. Quiet. Nice touches. Nice staff.
Cons: It was perfect.
Pros: Great comfortable beds!!
Pros: the front desk was amazing. That evening they took us to the Chanhassen Dinner theatre and then picked us up even though technically the shuttle stopped running 45 minutes earlier. I realized I forgot my FITBIT in the room. They kept if safe for me
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: Smoke alarm was beeping. We informed the desk immediately and they indicated that it would be fixed. I went to bed because I had recent surgery and then they ask us to move. Not pleasant when I have a 10 pound lifting limit per the Doctor.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing!
Cons: Had a slight issue with the freezer portion of the fridge in the room leaking water/defrosting as it had been turned way down/off prior to my arrival, but they fixed it right away.
Pros: Everything was very clean and accommodating! Loved the later breakfast time on Sunday and the breakfast was very good, better than most! Our room was spacious and very clean!
Cons: The TV cut out constantly and the air conditioner never shut off, just ran and ran which dried us out to the point we ran the shower trying to add moister into the room along with wet towels on the top of the air conditioner but nothing helped.
Pros: Friendly staff, accommodating, clean rooms, great pool with water slide
Pros: Nice in most ways
Cons: Really slow internet.
Pros: The pool water wasn't freezing like so many pools and the water side was a nice bonus. Staff was incredible helpful and kind. Breakfast options were extensive, the rooms were spacious and the pillows were soft.

Pros: convenience, price
Cons: air conditioner didn't work as effectively as needed. had it set at 58, never got even close to that. we like it cool when we sleep.
Pros: breakfast was good for a hotel.
Cons: The odor in the room upon arrival was terrible. Were give a light and with window open it became tolerable. Do not think I will return.

Pros: My room had new carpet and granite counters with a new kitchenette
Cons: The refrigerator was very loud. I had to ask for plates. Silverware, and pots and pans. I had to go buy dish soap and sponges to wash the dishes too. The bathroom was half remodeled. New toilet - but the forgot to put the caps over the bolts on the toilet seat. No hair dryer - had to ask for that too. The shower curtain was 2-3" into the tub so it stuck to you when you showered (I had them come in to move the bar out to the proper location which they did gladly). The tub was resurfaced and had spots where they missed coverage so it looked really bad. I probably would have moved hotels, but with these travel sites, they don't allow refunds/changes to reservations and you pay upfront not at the end of your trip.
Pros: We were 2 minutes away from Canterbury Card Club. For $57 a night we had 2 beds and a full kitchen. Can't beat that!
Cons: Pillow were junk. Definitely bring your own!
Sandalwood Studios & Suites is a great choice for a stay in Shakopee. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Poor breakfast - just toast , juice and coffee
Pros: Room was fine, not fancy. I appreciate it being clean.
Cons: Someone had smoked in the hallway. Odor did eventually go away.
The room smelled a little
Pros: Location to valley fair
Cons: Poor selection for breakfast
Cons: Received a call at 8:00 am from the desk telling us that the water was going to turned off in about 30 minutes. We had not planned on checking out until 11:00 am.
The greatest part is location. Not far from valley fair, and only one block from a FANTASTIC doughnut shop with amazing prices for even better pastries! If you stay here forgo the continental breakfast and spend 5 dollars on pastries and coffee for two!! Honeslty it was the best part of the stay!
Pros: room was clean and comfortable. It was exactly what we needed, an affordable room close to Valley Fair. We got what we paid for, a clean safe place to stay for a couple nights.
Cons: The 'continental breakfast' left a lot to be desired even for a 2.5 star. They should not even advertise that they have one. The expectation of having one left me frustrated to find some bread, bagels, butter and jelly with some pre-wrapped bear claws.
For a no frills hotel where we were out most of the day the price was right.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Public areas smelled of cigarette smoke
Cons: Hotel smack in a gas station for large trucks. All night noise of fueling pumps. There's a night rest area for trucks too. A continous noise of truck engines running all night coming from trucks at rest, but keeping engines running for air-condition
Would not recommend. Beds were comfy, but that's about it.
Pros: Proximity to valley fair.
Cons: Continental breakfast consisted of gas station muffins, bread, and a toaster.
I had a problem getting the TV to work. I called the hotel staff and they promptly assisted me to cure the problem.
Pros: The bed was wonderful. Slept perfect!
Finger prints everwhere on the wlls. Smelledlike smoke, Mold in Bathroom
Pros: Hard to believe that this hotel had a 2 rating. It was quiet, but only had a handful of occupants.
Cons: Small parking lot. Bagels and packaged swet roll does not make much of a breakfast. Breakfast hours started at 7AM
Pros: Frindly staff
Cons: Definitely not a two star, more like a one or less. Breakfast was a bagel or toast and juice The coffee pot was empty and I checked twice within twentty minutes.
Pros: For what we were doing, the location was good.
Cons: The greeter was pushing the reward card on me when we checked in.
Enjoy your visit to Shakopee with a stay at Valley Inn Shakopee. Guests will have free perks like breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
clean large room, friendly desk clerk, great two day stay
Pros: Everything was clean and tidy. We were able to check in early (11:30am) without issue. The gentlemen working the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful when I spoke with him.
Cons: The walls seemed very thin and sound traveled easier than hoped. The mattresses were not the most comfortable, and as such my back was not the happiest the following day.
Pros: Beds were comfortable. The room was spacious. The free breakfast was decent.
Cons: The shampoo provided didn't work well. Our clock and fridge didn't work. The temps outside warmed up that day and the A/C couldn't seem to keep up and get the room cool.
HomeTown Inn & Suites is a great choice for a stay in Belle Plaine. After having fun at the indoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with LED TVs and down comforters.
Cons: DIDN'T CLEAN ROOM FOR OUR SECOND NIGHT HOTEL WAS GENERALLY DIRTY INCLUDING ELEVATOR BATHROOM TILE MOLDY
Pros: Setting in the Chaska Village. Garage parking. Breakfast was good.
Pros: Bed was pillowtop and comfy, the pullout was convenient. Loved having a full size fridge in the room (we got the suite)
Cons: This could be a great hotel with just a little organization and stiffer cleaning. The shower heads and drains are badly in need of de-scaling (NOT EXPENSIVE!!) and the room was a little dirty. Also there was no dish soap or dishwasher soap for the room.
Pros: the staff was very accommodating in switching our rooms when the A/C was not working in first room.
Cons: outdated, room a/c not working, uncomfortable bed, lots of wall paper pealing and not overall clean.
Pros: Nice location by the river; potentially nice outdoor area by pool.
Cons: Hotel furnishings/finish were old &'tired'. This could have been made up for by cleanliness, but wasn't. The hallway carpets & chair moldings did not appear to have been cleaned for quite some time. Sink area in room was very dirty, outdoor area unswept.
Pros: The staff was amazing, and very accomidating.
Pros: the staff was good the meal with hot eggs and bacon the location was good
Cons: hotel is not marked clearly was hard to fined even with my gps
Pros: Location in downtown Chaska. Near waterway and good downtown pub
Cons: Breakfast was awful. Supposed to go until 10:00. Came down at 9:00 to no hot food at all. No attendant anywhere. I think the front desk person was trying to do both. Juice in machine was basically orange water. Dining area was super hot hand stuffy.
Pros: Cost & location
Cons: It definately could use some maintenance, my mother who is in her 70's fell off the toilet as the seat was so loose, thankfully she was hurt, the Tv didn't work & any channels that did come in were unwatchable as they went in and out.
Cons: My room was dirty, the hallways were in poor repair, would not stay there again.
Pros: Location makes it a great stay
Cons: Rugg not clean more often
Pros: Location justifies this hotel. River right behind it and in the old beautiful part of chaska
Cons: Rooms could be cleaner but for the most part it was a pleasant stay.
When visiting Chaska, GrandStay Hotel & Suites Chaska is a great choice to consider. Guests can relax at the spa tub, work out at the 24-hour fitness center, or grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. An indoor pool and a garden are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: It was very close to my father in law's nursing home, and had reasonable eating places near by.
Cons: I wasn't happy that the pool wasn't working. There was no hair dryer. There were stains on the comforter and lamp shade.
Cons: In need of much TLC and better housekeeping. Sounds as though the guest on Oct 16th stayed in the same room.

Pros: It was small and peace full so I could sleep .
Cons: staff was quick and to the point no time for any question or to help you with area infortion.
It's the type of place you go to sleep at. It's not an amusement park in a hotel.
Pros: It was everything it was advertised to be. I don't like places that build themselves up and then are much less.
Cons: Nothing that distracted from the stay.
Pros: It was a place to rest .
Cons: This place is not kept up! Even the candy in the vending machine was expired! I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone!
Cons: We had a smoking room, I am a smoker but have never smelled someplace like this before. It was so bad within an hour our eyes were watering and irritated. We had to crank the ac and open the window, we also doused the whole room in febreze still stunk..
A two star rating is generous for this property.
Pros: The location.
Cons: The room was small and the bed and bedding was old.
Cons: the bed was like sleeping on plywood. the staff was rude and when i was packing my car i went back in to get some other things he had been watching me he shut off my card key. it was nowhere near checkout time. i do not reccommend staying there.
This is a decent enough hotel to stay in.
Pros: The locations was convenient for where I had my work conference.
Cons: It was definitely out-dated and older. I think that there could be some updates.
Overall the hotel was as expected. Nothing fancy but for the price it was just fine.
Pros: Good clean rooms.
Cons: Breakfast area is pretty small with seating for about 6
This is a one star motel--with that in mind, it served its purpose. I've stayed here before and knew what to expect. It is what it is.
Pros: Right in Chaska, close to where I needed to be
Cons: Staff not always, shall we say, overexuberant Breakfast was what was expected for the price; primarily carbohydrates; would have liked to see maybe a hard boiled egg or some fresh fruit
Because my son almost 15 hours away from home was not 21 at first he was refused his stay. When calling Priceline and looking for help for my child they informed me that it was a policy, would not refund the money, and i was out of luck. My son was stuck 15 hours from home,no place to stay, and i was terrified. I was thankful to the owner/manager of the hotel who came to my son and offered to let him stay. He did require a $100 dollar deposit on the room because my son wasnt 21 but refunded that amount to my son upon his departure. I could not have located a more kind person in this instance. I would definately say this was not the most fancy hotel, but there was a good heart working there. I cannot say enough about how i will never use Priceline again. They were rude and did not care about my situation neither as a parent or a customer. I will always use the place i have always used to book hotels where i have never had an issue such as this before.
Pros: I booked this room for my 20 year old son who had to travel to this area. I didnt realize that there was an age restriction of 21 years of age to stay in this area.
Cons: Using Priceline to obtain it!
I loved the location and the look of the hotel! Although a lot of the businesses around it were completely closed and out of business! Overall, the room quality and cleanliness were great until I found Ramen noodles in the water resevour of the coffee maker and it looked like white little worms!!! I just felt that he angry every time he saw me for us getting the room too cheap! I told him maybe he should participate with Priceline then and he said he had no choice but he really actually made it sound like he would charge extra for everything he could just to make some money off that booking! He made me feel guilty and went on and on about it!
Cons: The manager!!!! He complained to me that he was only making xxx/night because I booked it through Priceline! So he charged me xxx night addl to request a smoking room which I paid. Then hecontinued complaining about how cheap I got the room!

Cons: We were told they have wi-fi. Well we couldn't get on their wi-fi. The clerk told us it was our equipment. We tried on a laptop, an IPad, an IPhone and a Nokia phone....not one of them could get on their wi-fi.
Pros: The staff was friendly.
Cons: Needs major repairs and smells moldy in rooms/halls. Shady people loitering in parking lot at night
Pros: Location, cheap price for a quick stay, staff was friendly. I felt I got what I paid for- 56$ was cheap stay but provides us what we needed for the night. Room was clean overall, bathroom was clean. Breakfast was okay, small selection but then again we did only pay $56.
Cons: Smelt like smoke throughout building, kinda noisy. It felt kinda sketchy at times, made sure door was locked at all times.
Cons: Entire building stank, room reeked
Pros: Clean and plenty of room
Cons: The attitude of one staffer
Pros: It was fine for the basics. Having spent the day at Valleyfair, we just needed to sleep and shower for one night. And it was close by.
Cons: The carpets were obviously dirty and the entire place smelled like smoke. The bedding is the only thing that's been updated in 30+ years and we had to park across the street at Perkins because the lot was full.
Free continental breakfast, free high speed wireless internet, voice mail. Microwaves and refrigerators available upon request. Guest laundry on premises. Well-equipped business center onsite with photocopy and fax machines. Jacuzzi suites available - call hotel directly 952-445-5074 or 1-888-843-4343. Pros: Great price. Hotel is avenge. Breakfast was awesome.
Cons: Building is older
Pros: We appreciated the pool and hot tub.
Cons: The fitness equipment needs updating.
Pros: Pools. Hot tubs. Breakfast. Connected bars
Pros: They had a large pool area and the room was a good size.
Cons: The room was outdated, dirty and smelly!!
Pros: The room was clean, and our grandchildren loved the pool. The value in was a little run down but they are remodeling.
Cons: Due to the remodeling we did not have a mirror in the bathroom. It would have been nice if they would have told us this when we booked the room.

Pros: Slept good, beds were comfortable and staff was friendly
Cons: The bathroom door was broke in my room
The pool was gross I couldn't even see the bottom of the pool cause it was so cloudy and dirty, it was worse than my backyard pool
Pros: One employee.. just one!
Cons: It was dirty and gross! I had white crusty stuff on my blankets I asked for clean ones abd was told no! And this was at the beginning of my stay I had not slept in that bed yet, I pulled the blanket back and there it was!!! Gross NEVER EVER AGAIN!
