The price was excellent, and I received a free upgrade to a Jeep Compass. I was able to pick up at one airport, and drop off another. Best rental car experience I've had- I wish they were all like this!

Cons:

I asked for a full size car, was given a compact SUV, was told that was an upgrade. Negative, the Chevy Malibu I requested has more cubic square feet over all than that compact SUV. We had a wedding party for our daughter's wedding and wanted the space, but I could barely get our luggage in this compact, much less more people with room.

Pros:

Staff was friendly and drop off was easy. Agent even asked if they could have done something to make my rental better. Great Alamo team in Kalispell at FCA.

Cons:

May just be a mountain thing and all cars being parked outside but car was pretty dusty.

Pros:

dollar rental was very friendly and helpful. When our flight was delayed Avis would not assure us that we would have a suv to rent.

Cons:

If someone is willing to pay for a suv even though they can't pick it up when planned, they should make sure the suv is there when they get there.

Cons:

This was at Glacier National Airport in Kalispell, MT. Made the reservation with Avis because the value was reasonable and they were open at 8 AM when I needed to pick up the car and make it to an appointment. Arrived at 8 AM and two people at the counter, neither of which could rent me the car because they did not work the front desk. They said the person was running late and would be in shortly. Thirty minutes later, the front desk person was still not there. Could not wait any longer so I went to Budget and they had just what I needed and for the same price. Avis lost the rental and a customer.

Cons:

The tires on my rental required filling every other day. As soon as I left the lot, the tire light came on....luckily nothing happened and they didn’t deflate completely but I still feel like this should have been looked at prior to me driving

Cons:

Pickup took over 1.5 hours. Vehicles were returned late due to travel delays and as a result we were waiting in baggage claim for our car in FCA for over 90 minutes. And had to wait for a second car because of a faulty back seat issue.

Pros:

at drop off, I explained that the gas tank was FULL. After reviewing the bill before boarding my flight, I discovered that I was charged for the cost of $97 for fuel. I had to go back to the agent (behind the security) and she corrected it. I find this annoying as it is a basic component of checking out a rental car. Other attendants go over the statement LINE by LINE. Not at this station. Peculiar, With kind regards, Roger van den Bergh

Pros:

Very friendly staff, no line and easy rental process.

Cons:

I wasn't sure how to return the vehicle - had to take keys to the desk unlike other rental experiences where someone is there waiting to check you in or you leave the keys in the car. Signage would have helped as we were in a rush.

Pros:

I liked the rental once I got one.

Cons:

The first rental not properly working, it wouldn’t start up right away, the car had several dents and scratches on the car, it also smelled like smoke. When I made the reservation counter aware, they acted as if there wasn’t a problem. Business as usual.
