Undisclosed fees. Not just the dreaded "amentities fee" and taxes, but also a staff support fee that was not disclosed anywhere. Mandatory charges should be part of the rate, not tacked on after the fact. Shame on them!

Mily, Jun 2022 - Kimpton Hotel Palomar Los Angeles Beverly Hills By IHG
Staff and lobby area were very nice. Hotel is worn, dingy and dated—especially in room. Fabric shower curtains are too small for shower size. No daily cleaning unless specifically requested. Good location, relatively close to all west LA attractions. In heart of Westwood, not Beverly Hills, as hotel name would have you believe. Good method for submitting service requests (text messages). Very resp...

The staff is very nice and accommodating, but the value is relatively poor. First, the famous resort fees that really don’t include anything of real value. Second, the rooms are relatively old. The worse was what happened to my sister: after flying from Australia, she wanted to check in early and indeed they had rooms available. They charged her $50 for early checkin. This may be understandable, i...

Pros (+) The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower had plenty of room to move around in for those on the taller side.
Cons (-) I didn't see any notification about parking when I registered and was a bit surprised to find only valet parking available at cost of $45/night.

Cons (-) This is a three star hotel at best with a five star name. You can put lipstick in a pig but in the end it’s still a pig

Pros (+) Great rooms, especially bathroom and well appointed. Some of the friendliest staff of any hotel anywhere
Cons (-) Not much to complain about except the parking fees. Those seemed excessive. Friends thatcame for drinks and dinner paid $50 for parking just as we did for the overnight.

Pros (+) The room was clean, comfortable and modern, with spacious accommodations. The rooftop was the highlight; it's small, but a nice setup, quiet, and a convenient meeting space.
Cons (-) The pool closed at 6pm, which was deemed to be too early by everyone enjoying the sun. That also meant, unless you were going to eat at a table, you couldn't even sit around the pool. I also was not a fan of having to pay for the WiFi given the nightly rate.
